Probably the easiest to understand Ottobit Jr. demo I’ve watched. And I’ve watched a lot. Many times. Quick and efficient explanations then examples. Great job! Ordered one last week and it arrives tomorrow!
This is fantastic, just like all the other ZR videos. Thank you for the constantly quality bass effects demos! This one is especially cool and had me wanting to get an Ottobit, until I realized I can pretty much program most of these sounds into my C4 synth, which was also an incredible demo BTW.
These videos are always great. This one made a pedal I own seem new again. Subtlety is the key. I know you don’t prefer synth pedals, but I think the Enzo is worth trying out if they will slide you a loaner. No harm if it doesn’t inspire a video, but it has become the engine for some of my weirder sounds. I’d like to hear you make music with it.
Thanks for that. Amazing demo. I have the bitmap v2 but will get the ottobit as well, mainly for the stutter function. I will still put my filter[ wmd super Fatman] after it. I ll try both the oc2 and the octave multiplexer before it[ lately I prefer the octave multiplexer] and last but not least the the frequency analyzer between the octaver and the ottobit. I find mixing ring modulators in high frequencies with bit crushers in mid frequencies very musical. One last thing...the robot by dba works very well before bitcrushers.
Hi, great video! Definitely super informative. Had a question; any info would be greatly appreciated. In global config I set the kill dry to "dry active" with the hope that I could hear some of my playing underneath the stutter, but the stutter still jacks my whole signal. I was just wondering if there was a way to keep your playing in tact under the stutter effect or what the dry kill toggle would be for if not. Thanks for any help!!
Dear Zach, awesome video as usual! I have one question. Can you control the "sequencer mult" with an expression pedal to change the speed of the sequencer with your foot from slow to fast for example? :)
Hi Zach, great demo! I'm wondering which expression pedal you're using. I'm using a Roland EV-5 and it isn't nearly as smooth or consistent sounding as yours with this pedal. Thanks!

I believe that should be possible. Any knob is expression controllable.
