LEGAL SELF DEFENCE WEAPONS UK - KLARUS XT11 TORCH - STROBE LIGHT TEST -

  • This UK legal self defence weapon is the Klarus XT11 Tactical LED Torch with strobe function.
    Here is the direct Amazon link to buy this torch:
    www.ukpreppersg...
    THe XT11 is a very powerful torch with the additional strobe function that means it can be used to disorientate a potential attacker for those precious few seconds while you make an escape.
    With the UK legal weapons law very limited, it is a case of finding ways to aid escape rather than actually more lethal methods.
    Situation awareness is your number one priority in any potentially dangerous confrontation, but if you can pre-emt an attack for that split second before the strobe light from this Klarus flashlight will help you make that escape.
    It is, of course, not a full on weapon of any sort, but an attacker would look away when this strobe is used - but you will still need to do you're part and run while the attacker is temporary blinded.

    In the UK you will get locked up for carrying an offensive weapon.
    This means ANY firearm, any replica firearm, a knife with a blade over 3" long, mace or pepper spray and just about anything else you can think of.
    The UK government and police actively pursue zero tolerance on any offensive weapon carried in a public place.
    Using something like a high powered torch with strobe will give you precious seconds to make an escape from an potential attack.

      If you use this strobe light defense Idea with the Non-Lethal Criminal Identifier Gel it will be a great way to bring the criminal to justice. When he attacks you, disorient him with the strobe function, then spray him with the criminal identifier, after you escape call the Police and let them know his physical description, that you dyed him, and that he attacked you and is violent, then you can let him spend some time in jail and know you brought a bad guy off the streets.

      In fact it can be...if the police see you with a tightly rolled newspaper and it's folded in half it forms a a very solid cosh...
      Known as a Chelsea cosh or the Brixton mallet as it has many other names..
      A few wacks in the face you will feel it.
      Yes you getted nicked by the police for having it in your procession.

      With such poor self defence laws in the UK, anything that can give you a chance of escape is worth having...

    The strobe is too fast at first as you need the dark to be longer for the pupils to open and then be blinded, it strobes at two speeds, the second speed is ideal but it's not constant, bit disappointed with this torch for that reason, the one touch strobe button is great, wish more manufacturers would fit those

    I'm in America, but I also carry a small strobing flashlight, or torch as they are called in Britain. It's not this same make or model, but I believe it would come in handy in a defensive situation. Of course, I also carry many other type of items that you can't over there, in case the situation escalates.

    Is it the same with shop keepers. Today two armed robbers came into the shop one with an axe and another with a gun (couldn't tell if real or fake) but turned out it was fake and they used the axe and my uncle is ok just a few cuts on his and back. He used a small metal stick which didn't do much. Any advice you can give? Thank you.

      You know that ridiculing some people and their country of birth is only going to make them more reactionary and resistant to change, right?
      Doesn't bother me, because I used to live in the US and don't have the kneejerk 'America insults us = immediately defend the status quote' butthurt thing. Not attacking you, just saying it really isn't helpful and we need people helping to make things *better* for us, not worse.

      ***** Hmm, I don't sing that song as I think it's shit, I'd rather Jerusalem was our National Anthem. I feel safer in the UK (obviously like anywhere there are areas to avoid) than the US. Last year death's by firearms in the UK was under 20. Over 11,000 in America. I don't go about unprotected either, and if anyone broke into my house they'd get a very nasty surprise. As the saying goes, better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6.

    I've even heard of confiscation of sub 3" non locking knives, either the cops don't know what's actually written in the law book or they are just pushing home the zero tolerance aspect.

    • @TheWrinklyNomads

      UK Preppers Guide I think that it's the crenulated strike bezel that some say is the problem, just like what's on some of these defense pens, a DNA catcher is what they call them.

      Who is 'they' exactly and why would they want to kill everyone?
      If it's the government, then surely they want us to stay alive, work and pay taxes,....money is king and that's what keeps them at the top of the tree is it not??

    • @steveclark..
      @steveclark.. 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      "Money is just a big circle", you said it yourself,.....what do you think happens to the rich when that circle is broken? Think about it before you start calling others stupid/an idiot!
      Despite that fact, do you really think that the people who are rich now would want to end up doing all the menial jobs that the poorer folk have to do now??...No, I'm pretty sure that they don't want to kill all them folk off because they want sanitary/waste removal etc.

    • @steveclark..
      @steveclark.. 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      They may produce the money in the first place but a capitalist system only works if the whole population 'buys' into it. How small do you think the circle can go, so that there's still people in it who are willing to shovel shit for a living for example? If we continue to discuss this/have different opinions, can we quit with the insults at least?

    I often wonder if you carried a baseball bat in a shoulder bag with a ball and a glove, you could not be nicked for carrying an offensive weapon but you could always use the bat in the event of an attempted mugging. (I am in the UK).

    • @TheWrinklyNomads
      @TheWrinklyNomads  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It might take a bit of explaining in some circumstances, but if you have a plausible story and convincing reason to offer the police, it's worth considering. To some extent, even carrying a very strong umbrella or walking stick is pretty much the same.
      Bearing in mind that is 99.9999% certain you WILL NOT get attacked/mugged at gunpoint or any firearm for that matter in the UK.
      It is certain it will be some muppet simply threatening you, or at worse with a piddly blade, in which case distance and speed to attack back with something solid could very well be the answer.
      Of course, situation awareness and not putting yourself in a dangerous situation in the first place is number one to not being attacked..
      In my humble opinion of course...!
