BMW E92 E90 E91 E93 3 series 2005 - 2013 Radio quick removal guide

Made the vid as short as possible but cover the following:-
Removal,Steering controls & ignition power feed.
Part numbers for items used in the fit are as follows,:-
PC5-111 for aerial adaptor,FP-06-06 for fascia adaptor & CP2-BM52 for the steering control adaptor,all parts made by Autoleads.

This was the last model (E90) with the possibility to skip the middle screen (sat nav) until 2013 if I'm right? After this any BMW got middle screen (menu/sat nav) by default?

I’ve used the same autoleads connected you did but the stereo doesn’t always come on with the ignition and if it does it has no stored memory on the stereo. I’ve tried running a permanent live from the battery but now it’s permanently on. Any suggestions? I’m fitting a Sony DSX-400BT stereo to a 2007 E92.

Did you swap the yellow and blue wires round sometimes that’s a fix on some cars

Having an issue where the aux functionality is not working - does it have a dedicated connector at the back of the head unit? As far as I saw there is only a main connector and the radio antenna, and nothing else? Thank you!

did you encounter any problems with your parking sensors not working? after install?

Your parking sensor audio is tied in to the original radio so you will need to consult your retailer about a steering control interface that supports reverse sensors.
Most have a small speaker to enable the beeping.
