- Would using Skins or Mods (3DMigoto) get you banned? While there is no definite answer to this question, I'm going to explain the basic information and the risks that you should know about 3DMigoto so that you can decide for yourself after watching this short video.

No bans... all the mods do is sit themselves ontop the game files which is why in coop, nobody but yourself can see the mods... doesnt directly CHANGE the game files which is against TOS.
Just like mobile legend scripted skins
If Hoyo wants to avoid 3DMigato user, they have to bring up a In-Game shop for buying skins like in other Games.. Im talking about Star Rail right now.
A skin shop wouldn't really keep ppl from using 3dmigoto imo. Specially since they would make the skins paid

Thanks for the info, but I do have a curious question.. I heard and I know 3ddmigoto doesn't change in-game files it works through your GPU as you explained it, but if it doesn't change any files from their game, how do they detect it?
Hmm that's a good question.
I don't know the details of it. But the first thing that comes to my mind is the kernel-level anti-cheat software that both Genshin Impact and HSR is using. It is very invasive and it sees everything that runs in your system.
They could erase Private Servers and stuff like 3DMigoto in a week if they wanted to tbh, they just don't care I guess as long as it doesn't cross the red line. (Like some Re-Shades do for example cuz of the texture change + inject to original game files)

Correct me if I am wrong, but the mod won't be able to change klees walk animation into the old powerwalk right?
Tbh I’m not sure but I don’t think so since that has to do with the model itself. Mods/Skins can only edit stuff that is already there. I’ll let you know if I find something like that.
So after the hsr players got banned, hoyo tweeked the detection to not ban 3dmegoto? Please confirm it will make me feel so much safer about modding.

Yes, I do not know if they made it specifically for 3dmigoto, but after the change, there have been no bans related to 3dmigoto

Tbh the risk is so low that I would say there is no significant difference
But yes, using this in PS would be less riskier

Look you'll probably not get banned, js avoid modding first week new update bcs then usually theres a ban wave. Ive bee using this a week on my main for 2 weeks or something. Worst case scenario you'll get banned 1 week as ''warning''.
Ask yourself this, what would hoyo gain from banning players like 3dmigoto users
ask yourself this, why would hoyo spend time and money to create official skins that you need to buy with real money so that they can pay the people who made them if players could just use free mods to get free outfits instead? Obviously, the company would want you to use what is company made so they can make profit and make more stuff for the players. I don't think that modding skins is very widespread right now, but I do believe that when even more people start implementing mods, it CAN get banned.
I don't see a lot of genshin players getting banned as far as I know for this reason

Most of time new costumes add new physics and stuff which skins not gonna be able to replicate unless someone would make skin specifically for costume (Goes for Diluc and his ponytakl and also Klee with her witch hat)

No, it just doesn't touch files. Therefore, people use it in main accounts
