Such a great video. Unpopular opinion but I actually still don't like the system prefences setup. It actually makes it harder to find more detailed settings because the categories are slightly different. I'm used to the phone settings being different than the mac settings and I actually like it that way. I would appreciate it if Apple provided us the ability to choose between the 2 styles of settings formatting so we can decide which interface works better for us individually...
I hate that I have to keep the settings app stretched to the full height of my 15” screen to see all settings options at once. It’s such a step back from how they were previously organized. It makes sense on a phone because the screen is vertical and swiping is the main navigation method - macs are widescreen and mouse based, why they thought this is better is mindboggling

I have not been able to find out how to get rid of this as it is a security risk. Also dont like the way Sonoma shows all the users who have accounts, or sort of hides them till you hover over the last user. Chrome had web apps along time for youtube and social media pages. Is this new to just safari? I thought if a web app was available a download icon in the url would appear

Can you disable the presenter overlay? I don't have much memory on my macbook so it has really screwed me and I cannot be productive. It takes a lot of memory and shows up every time I am on zoom, which is a lot!
I liked my old Ventura screensaver, was sooo calming but it's no longer there.... 😢. If anybody knows where to find old Ventura's screensavers I will be indebted!
I'm not sure what screensaver you're missing, I can see all the screensavers I previously had alongside the new ones that got added. I just updated yesterday night, and my only complaint is that now the lock screen screensaver doesn't stay active for more than 5 seconds, so i can barely see the new live wallpaper's. I also really wish that the live wallpapers ran in the background when I'm logged in, and not just when its locked or when i activate screensaver with hot corners (imagine wallpaper engine from steam).
Can you use the “Create an App” feature for secure sites that you have to do 2-step verification, eg bank or government web sites? Would it make sense to do this?

It would have been nice if you had mentioned that the Software Updates were under the General tab.... Going straight from "Click on system settings" to talking about Software Update ...I thought I had a defective Mac because it wasn't showing up. I've had Sonoma for a few days after moving from Safari... I am loose my mind with all the c*ap Apple has added and subtracted and I can't find anything I need. I spend more time trying to stop the idiotic bleep they have added than enjoying using my Mac.

The Presenter overlay works on M1 Macs as well, I have a Macbook Pro M1 and it shows just fine with macOS Sonoma

I immediately added Google docs and gmail to the doc - game changer for me
I have Mac mini M1 and Apple LED Cinema Display from 2011 and with its camera everything works great on MacOs Sonoma - all the features.
It also works with external webcams, I have a Logitech and all works except centre stage but I don’t really need it.
I have fully updated Sonoma as of today 1/21/24 and done see many of the main settings you see. iMac 2020 27 inch intel is what i have.
