Some reviewers think it's beneath them to review affordable cars. You on the other hand go out of your way to review them. I appreciate that Ben. Thank you!
Insane Sentra Ben !! ❤❤
This is what I always bring up when folks say "ThE aVeRaGE CaR PrICe is $47,000". Cheap cars still exist people just don't want to buy them
They do exist, but issue is they aren’t as nice as they used to be in favor of cost cutting and corporate greed.
@@KNRS927 beggars can't be choosers
@@16BitOG I mean not too long ago you could’ve gotten a base accord or Camry for under 25k and even those mid trims were around this 28-29k price, just saying.
@KNRS927 if you go back far enough everything is cheaper dude. Thats how inflation works. Burgers used to be a nickel and gas was 25 cents a gallon.
You do know what they mean when they "average price" right? It's based off of cars like this.
Yes Ben .... when I was younger I had a 5 trucks in A lawncare buisiness all new with GM'S trucks. When I got SICK they told me when I get back or better they would give me credit. Well they FORGOT about me. So Nissan gave me a Sentra lease that was 4 years ago and was able to buy the car for a year now. So a thumb up to Nissan no problems at all. Lovely car I would recommend this car to everyone. It is the best seller in Japan as a family car.its called the Silfy in Japan. 😅😊
I got my 2024 SR midnight and I’ve been in love with everything about it. “ side note “ make sure you lube up the left motor mound with silicone WD-40 because they have a recall on the motor mounts and even when they replace them, they still make a popping noise, but the WD-40 silicone spray fixes it and the noise goes away and then you can enjoy your car 😂
Cool nissan sentra love the interior nissan put orange into there's seats
This interior is very nice. Thanks for reviewing!
I don’t even read these comments when you review Nissan’s Ben. 😂 Love that color. This was in the show room when I was looking at the Pathfinder. Nice sedan.
Great video. Nissan is a hit or miss since the merger in 99
2025 Nissan Sentra SR 2.0L 4-Cylinder CVT Transmission FWD Sedan!
This looks like it would be a perfect commuter or city car.
Ben looking like a Viking reviewing cars.
If you can find one, I would love to see a review of a new Nissan Versa manual.
I love my 2021 Sentra. Curious what the 2025 has over the 2024 (and 2021) models?
With any CVT transmission, I would recommend highly that you change the CVT oil 10k miles before recommended service. It isn't that expensive of a change and you will add longevity to your vehicle. Many Nissans in the family and have friends with them as well and no issues with the transmissions going out. For the vehicles that I know the mileage, one currently is at 189k and the other 140k for miles.
Just get the manual
It's about time that they give something...😂 but what I have found about my dealer is after a oil change the oil is black after 3 or 4 weeks. I took it to my local Walmart and one months later and its still clean like it was the day It was done. ! ! ! I believe that the dealership is using recycled oils. 😮😢😮
What does that mean affordable cars are back? They never left, this iteration of the Sentra has been around since at least 2021.
Has Nissan addressed their garbage cvt transmissions yet? I’ve heard nothing but horror stories about them.
@@rowyerboat8648 it's obvious your still living in 2007-2019. It's 2024....... Come to the present. All cars with CVTs have issues if you drive them like a maniac and race with them.
@@MichaelSmith-df5pzExcept it's been proven that the worst CVTs come from Nissan and Ford. This is a fact and issues with them tend to happen after 5yrs when the warranty is up.
@@Jumalten001 link the actual sources stating they fail after 5 years. I'll wait.......
@@MichaelSmith-df5pz nissan CVTs are hit or miss. I’ve heard stories of people driving them to 200k and beyond, and people needing to replace it after 50k miles. Jatco CVTs don’t have the best rep. The best CVTs tend to be the ones that are made in house, like what Honda and Subaru do.
What's the difference between 2024 and 2025?
This car does look really good and so does the 2025 kicks. But like others, I’m still very concerned about the cvt transmission and I would not want to buy a brand new vehicle without knowing whether or not the transmission will fail on me. I still need to be convinced about the cvt transmission and unfortunately this video doesn’t do that for me
that's the beauty of buying brand new, the CVT is covered for the next 5 years!
Sounds like you're not up to date with Nissan's refreshed and updated CVTs on their newer cars that have low failure rates, unlike 2007-2019 years, many of you are still living in. Do the research.
@@MichaelSmith-df5pz B.S.! ITS STILL THE SAME JATCO CVT, they just made "tweaks" to it! I wouldn't go anywhere Nissans' or Infinitis' with CVTs. I remember calling Nissan's main office when I was having issues with my CVT. The rep didn't hold back and she told me that they are having just as many problems with their Infiniti brand as well smh. NEVER AGAIN!
@@tezh5897You definitely had an older model CVT then 🙄
@@rashaudl.1605 It was a 2020 Maxima, which isnt an older model. The car had roughly 61,500 miles on it before the transmission started to slip and eventually fail. You backing Nissan like you're on the payroll smh. Their sales are down for a reason! They have screwed over alot of ppl with those faulty transmissions.
This is exactly the same as the 2022 Sentra.
They just need to give the Sentra SR a manual transmission and it will sell like hotcakes.
I'm not very familiar with Nissans. Hopefully this car has a good powertrain that's solid.
Their engines are usually very solid, but the CVT transmissions can be problematic on some.
2024 Kia Forte GT-Line fully loaded much better for this price
Despite it's quirks it has its my attention.
And also the Kia won't last past 50k very unreliable
Is it better than the kicks as far as engine torque?
Bro thats not affordable 😂
If only they came with a 6 speed manual and a manual parking brake like they do in Canada (2024 model) they I would consider it.
Buy one in Canada
it would be cheaper to get one in Canada paying USD and import it. All you "if only it came in manual" folks are all talk. Buy it. Do it. You won't.
@@16BitOG I got a 2024 Versa S 5 Speed Manual instead which comes with a Hand parking brake as well. Saves more gas and the engine is simpler with a port injection system vs a Direct injection like in the Sentra.
The Canadian Sentra needs to have a new miles per hour dash cluster installed or modified. Also I'm not sure how the warranty would work here in the states since they don't offer that option here. More hassle if you have to drive all the way to Canada to service it.
Taking delivery of mine in 4 days. Drove it today, it's a beauty. It's amazing how a manual takes a boring car and turns it into a fun car
@@steve11263 Versa or Sentra? Are you in the US or Canada? If you are importing a manual Sentra, I'm just curious to know the process you went through to bring it to the states.
WHY ARE YOU IN A HURRY WHEN STATING THE MPGS?I HAD TO REPEAT IT 2 MORE TIMES. PLEASE SPEAK SLOW AND CLEAR,. THANKS
For what this car is $27 K is too much 👎 the base model should offer a better price.
get a Toyota corolla, civic or mazda, my sentra lasted 60000miles
Plzz do 2025 Toyota Avalon
That does not excist, I think you mean Camry
@GrandPaRickOld bro crown is the replacement of avalon not camry
Oh true sorry!
I curious what is the name of the color?
Atlantic Gray Metallic
@@larrybowers8323 Thanks
Has Nissan gotten away from those JATCO transmissions?
In Canada the 2024 Nissan Sentra has a 6 speed manual option and it also has hand parking brake.
For $27.5K, I’d much rather have a 2025 Jetta SE. More power, comfort and safety.
I bought my 2006 sentra special edition for $14k new
$27 not really affordable
This car is amazing, but wont last. 2 years and it is rusting, driver’s seat is looking worst than my pathfinder after 15 years of beating. Do not buy if you want to keep it for long. Great car for leasing.
Huh? This doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
Only car that rusts in 2 years is the cyber truck. this isn't 1988 brother.
@@16BitOG buy one then… I believe mine came from factory. I observed the rust within the first year. It is on the driver’s side step. I never took it to repair because mine is a lease. It is covered by warranty.
@felipecolares2822 I can afford nice cars no thank you.
I would rather buy a 10 year old V8 over this.
if you poor just say that.
@16BitOG lmao. Far from it. Dont like slow and tech, but good try.
