Very nice! That is one brutal locomotive, for sure. It has a very good whistle and a decent bell. I t will be cool to see it run on your layout. I don't have any type of Command Control locomotives on my layout. I have a Rail King Ps-4 Pacific and a late-model Lionel GG1, but both are conventional. I do have the Cab-3 App on my phone, so I can run trains on some of my friend's layouts. This engine would really look good on my layout, which is still in the mock-up stage. I have two of the three mains running and I'm just waiting for some more O72 and O54 curves to come in, to complete the third main. The outer loop is O96, with some O72 mixed in. An excellent video, as always.

@@UncleSalty-nz5uk They have O96. I mix and match different curves, to get to what will fit. The big outside curve is O96, the one before that is a combo of O96 and O72, which brings it down to about O82-4, somewhere in that range. Just use equal pieces of each, with the wider curve starting and finishing. 2-4-2, for a 180 degree curve. This works well with O72/O54, also. Gargraves also sells curves, I think even wider than O120.
My jaw hit the floor!! I’m blown away!! Matt, that baby is gorgeous, it looks so streamlined with the top of the boiler. I love it! What an absolutely beautiful locomotive! That horn is incredible! I know exactly what you mean when you can say this could be bad for me! 😂 This is a major score! 💯❤️😎

I think the Base 3 is coming out very soon, to run the Lionel models and the WTIU is probably going to be the way to go for MTH. The older MTH DCS TIUs have ridiculously high asking prices right now along with the older Lionel 990 CAB systems. I have a WTIU on preorder to tinker around with and try to figure out.

@huntercoleman460 I think they are just more focused and really take pride in their craftsmanship. Plus it's a Democracy as where China is China. I think it is the attitude of the worker. If you're proud of your job, it reflects in your work.
