Merry Christmas Nizzahon and Comment Section. We all know only ONE artifact creature with flying is powerful and mana efficient enough to deliver presents to everyone in 24 hours!
@@TheGloriousLobsterEmperorOh, most definitely. I wanna give back to my favorite MTG TH-camr, even if he probably rolls his eyes every time he sees me comment (and rightfully so!)
Thanks for being such a great channel through the years, lessons I’ve learned from this channel over the years. -the little things mean a lot -data aggregation and point qualifiers matter a lot -you don’t have to follow trends to create something important -how to recognize notoriously powerful cards -magic is interesting and each card to see competitive play has a story to tell Hope you get some really wonderful bird related gifts this year! This channel matters to me.
How are Priest of Titania or Wirewood Chancelor not on this list? You combine the latter with Freed from the Reel, and you get an infinite all colors mana combo. Jeesh!
I might just not care much about Elves, but I couldn't predict the #1 despite it being entirely obvious. Almost as obvious as this request for "Top 10 Vintage Cards (Minus Power 9)". I hope everyone had a great year and spent time with their families! I don't celebrate Christmas since I'm a Muslim, and my mum doesn't celebrate it religiously because she doesn't think it was Jesus (pbuh)'s birthday, but we still had presents and food.
@@andygoody2599 It's still generally not a good thing to actively celebrate it as a Muslim, since it's celebrating a holiday that is officially still linked to something we Muslims 100% reject (the birth of Prophet Jesus (pbuh) as the "Son of God" directly contradicts Islam). My Sheik basically said "You can join in celebrations, but don't wish people Merry Christmas or initiate festivities." I think he's right.
Who needs a spark? Not Deathrite Shaman, that's who. Not surprised to see the original one mana Planeswalker atop the list again. Bonkers card in any format with fetches, and still great without.
@@CunningLingu1st My brother taught me in the late 90s. He's eighteen years older than me, and was moving on from college to the Nazy to help pay for grad school, and since he was shipping halfway around the world, he had no need for Magic cards, so he gave me a ton of them from Unlimited and Antiquities and a few other early sets.
I have an outdated full-powered legacy elves deck, i need to update it. Apparently current lists are maindeck mono green, but play fetchlands and duals to enable a multi-colored sideboard. I have all the cards, but i have luxury problems, i prefer my Dual Lands to be black bordered, and i have trouble deciding if the Cradles should be Foil, or Japanese or traditional or simplified chinese. I am also a bit short on foil Onslaught fetchlands. Korean reserved list apparently got hit by a buyout and is pretty much unobtainable right now. Pay attention to French, Italian and German black-bordered Dual Lands, these look amazing, better than Beta, and seem to be recently outperforming english Unlimited. Only peasants play revised Duals, these look ugly.
@@NizzahonMagic hey! Ah yeah my magic consumption got sidelined with having a kid last year but I'm glad to see you're still going strong! Happy holidays!
Actually, Deathrite shaman isn’t an elf. It was the key combo piece in 5 color humans that made the deck work. Also, you forgot Fyndhorn Elves. But other than that, great video!
Deathrite Shaman is still an elf, even if it worked better in a deck that wasn't totally focused on elves. Also, he did mention Fyndhorn Elves at 14:00, but said it didn't have enough points for this list.
Um Christmas elves are not a thing. It comes from the term elf being applied to anything supernatural. Elves in fantasy are fusions of Norse elves, or alfar, and the Celtic sidhe and are a product of Tolkien. There is zero affiliation between Fantasy Elves and Christmas.

Elf tribal got me into magic. Probably the best deck for a new player to try out. Very straightforward and fun.
Christmas elves are called gnomes in D&D. But gnomes in Magic are small clockwork mechanical creatures.
Thanks for taking time out of your holiday to keep up with the upload schedule. I wasn't expecting this!!
Nizzahon probably celebrates Chanukah, he's Jewish. Lol
I'm shocked to not see Allosaurus Shepherd on this list. I'm sure it was close.
Just goes to show how powerful the Elf creature type is 😮

Christmas isn't about religion unless you want it to be. It's about family and food and giving.
I'm Atheist myself but I still celebrate Christmas with my family and friends. I will give my friends my favorite Reserve List card from Mirage!

Yes! I still love elves, even though i havent played them in a while. Maybe now that Fury is gone i can go back to them
Skyshroud Poacher is one of my all time favorite elves!
...What do you mean he's not an elf?!
Oh...that damn rebel!
Merry Christmas, Nizzahon!

Regardless of his place on this list, the #1 elf in my heart will always be Rofellos.
Rofellos and his Shit Eating Grin. My absolute favorite.
He was the first card my dad gave me at 10 y/o after teaching me MTG and fueled many stompy Green decks over the years. 💚

Merry Christmas Nizzahon and chat!
The low effort hat on Nissa is amazing haha
Merry Christmas everybody!!
Wow I do NOT recall Deathrite Shaman being legal up to 2014 in modern. I thought it got smacked down almost immediately.
Santa's elves have sometimes been described as brownies, which in MtG have the subtype Ouphe. Maybe that can be 2025's list?
Merry Christmas Nizzahon great idea on the elf video
Merry Christmas! I watched every video this year! - Cheers
Number 10 elf would be great in a bear counter deck with queen of the bears commander.
Merry Christmam Nizzahon ❤❤❤
Servant of the conduit might see a comeback. I see some people playing it in mono green shells
Merry Christmas!
DRS deserves it's title
I still find it funny that 'Elvish Mystic' doesn't have the Mystic subtype :)
elfball was so crazy. draw your deck and make infinite mana turn 3 every game was ridiculous at the time
My mind was blown that Llanowar wasn't number one.
Merry Christmas 😇
What about Elvish Champion?
Happy Holidays :)
bro don’t take holidays off!! A merry Xmas!!
Before i watch, i'm guessing #1 has to be Rofellos?
Allosaurus Shepherd?
Santa’s elves are gnomes. Just got lost in translation

Priest of Titania is better than most of these
By what metric?
Wirewood Chancelor, better still. Costs more, but oh how fun with any other elf, and Freed from the Reel.
Start making top 11 videos. Or maybe top 12. Anything other than top 10 like every other sheep.
