It can’t be over! But if it has to end than food from Asia is the ways to go. H mart is so much fun and your right about the food court. Huge fan o ramen too. But the sushi time was my favorite. Looks like you had an amazing day! Thanks for sharing!
I had no idea there was an Asian food scene in Austin. There are so many options. But I probably would’ve gotten stuck eating dumplings. There are so good! Thanks for this food tour!
Having spent the last 6 years in Asia, I can certainly appreciate the variety and deliciousness of Asian cuisine! Those dumplings look absolutely extraordinary, and I could honestly eat them everyday for the rest of my life! Those Korean corndogs are pretty unique too!
Wow, so much food. I liked the dimsums and the sushi(my favorite). For some reason, in US, Indian food is not considered in Asian food, I discovered that during my stay in US but the fact is that we are part of Asia as well.
That is true and actually a good point to make. My friend from Nepal told me that once. He said his food and Indian food was technically Asian. You could actually say what is considered Middle Eastern Food is Asian Food as well. I suppose the title should be far East Asian lol.
You need a warning not to watch on an empty stomach! Lol. So much delicious food in this episode. Too bad your audio didn't work - which media mod are you using? I also use GoPros for my filming with media mods/a Rode mic attachment. I think my favourite would be the ramen or the dumplings.
@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon Yeah I guess that could be it! Sometimes when I use my external mic that happens and then I don't get any audio. Anyway - thanks for making me hungry with this vid!
1618 is BOMB, You also need to try House of the Three Gorges in North Austin, that is my fav Chinese in the city. my fav sushi in Austin is at Soto on South Lamar
Making your own dumplings, I never heard of that, but sounds good! Blossom awesome! Haha sounds great! The best Asian food sure is made by Asians... Oh, what a shock if you find out that your audio didn't record, but your video came out really ok! So don't worry!
I've lived in Asia for 8 years, but never have I seen a deep fried hot dog with potato's. looked delicious though. Actually so did everything else in the video especially the dumplings and the Ramen
oh boy i have been burned by missing audio on more than one occasion! ive done ENTIRE vlogs to get back home and find theres no audio, and it was really hard to me to catch this issue because of my set up doesnt allow for easy playback and doesnt tell you if audio is working or not. The Muscat Vlog was really the only vlog on my trip thankfully to have this issue and it was working for part of the day so not everything was lost and i mixed it with audio from the next day too, and that was a case of the microphone just flat out breaking without me being aware. So I feel your pain! The food looks pretty good by the way I'm good with Asian food that a/ is not too spicy and b/ doesnt have peanuts in it! that ice cream sandwich looks like a Vanilla Slice!!! Do you have vanilla slices there? Usually with custard in the middle and sometimes with icing on top! They are the best. when you doing a tour down under Ben?
That was the first time that happened to me with my GoPro. It happened once before with my old camera when I first started but, that was because the mic hadn't been plugged in properly lol. We don't have vanilla slices, at least not by that name. It'll be awhile before I get down under. My next planned overseas trip isn't until November and that will be Greece if all goes well.
Hate when my camera doesnt get all I want but i still loved the food. Asian food is amazing. I love pho and the soups looked wonderful. If i ever get to Austin, I am going to check some of these places out.
If you enjoy Asian Food and are visiting Austin, this is your guide to all the delicious Asian Food across Austin, Texas!
Despite the audio glitch, your video had me salivating over the scrumptious spread! The ramen and dumplings stole the show, leaving me craving more !
Yup lesson learned lol

Sadly all good things must come to an end. Glad you guys enjoyed the video

Yeah it had been growing immensely over the last couple decades.
Having spent the last 6 years in Asia, I can certainly appreciate the variety and deliciousness of Asian cuisine! Those dumplings look absolutely extraordinary, and I could honestly eat them everyday for the rest of my life! Those Korean corndogs are pretty unique too!
Those corn dogs were a first for me. Potato fried? It was good for sure. I can't wait to get to Asia. Planning 2024
I don’t know if I would have associated such amazing Asian food with being in Texas but this all looks amazing. Thanks for taking us along.
Austin has a huge international community due to tech and expansion. You come here 20 years ago there would've been very few good Asian places.
Wow... wonderful food tour. Good guide for a person looking for Asian food there.

The standard media mod for a GoPro. Does some reason I guess I didn't push it in all the way? Not sure

Love H Mart. May need to go back to the Chinatown when you come back home. Still a great video, in spite of the audio glitch.

The yummy food brought be back. Yum........
Thanks Akash
I was salivating, but not over the food lol

I've done Soto before. I haven't tried Three Gorges. I'll check it out when I get back to Texas.

Oh you absolutely must. If you can pick one, do Ramen Tatsuya and Domo-Alley Gato. They are right next to each other and it's a fun experience.
