Just spray your cleaner and cover with saran wrap overnight. It melts the grub and the smell is minimal. Then you wipe with the plastic as you peel it off and start wiping. I learned this from Aurikakatariina on TH-cam
Thank you so much, as I have pets ( and a parrot ). Id hate to harm by that chemical and or smell. Wrapping, why didn't I think of this! Again,Thanks 🌹
Oven cleaner, cover in saran wrap so the product doesn't dry out, let sit for 4 hours or more, take a scrapper to remove most of the dirt. 5 minutes to clean, no effort.
I just watched a few other vids addressing this same problem. From “Dawn” to harsh foaming spray oven cleaner, Ive seen people use a variety of different products to get the job done. But oh my goodness, all that heavy SCRUBBING is way too much work for me‼️ AND nasty chemical fumes too?? No way‼️ I much prefer to use the “Mr Clean” brand, “Magic Eraser”. NO messy powders or harsh chemicals… just add WATER‼️ Wet the sponge, squeeze out the excess and wipe away the grime. I’ve seen SOME bad reviews for white eraser sponges, but I think they’re actually based on copycat knock-offs. Make sure you get the “Extra Durable” sponges with “Durafoam”. I use them for just about ALL my cleaning nowadays. They’re certainly not “magic”, but they are pretty darned AMAZING‼️
1. Protect vinyl floors with plastic sheeting or cardboard from Easy Off overspray. It will permanently change vinyl orange. 2. Spray the oven the night before cleaning it. Flip the racks to ensure both sides are sprayed. 3. Day 2, remove the racks and hose them off outside or possibly in the shower. 4.. Take 3 large old bath towels and cover the bottom of the oven. Using a pump up sprayer, spray the oven with hot water flushing into the towel until the top & sides are clean.
Wow, I can't believe everybody is still using oven cleaner. I started using Dawn powerwash. Give it a try. It works pretty well without using hash chemicals like oven cleaners. Just spray it on and let it set.
You should NOT use steel wool on that oven glass, which has a special coating that you just stripped off.. If the grease won't come off completely use one of those Mr. Clean pads. Magic.
I clean apartments when folks move out. I use heavy duty oven cleaner, warm the oven first. I leave it overnight. I spray it all with hot water, grab as much gunk with paper towel. Use a scraper with blade, for hard spots. It still is work, but my arms do not hurt!!!
Glass scraper. Five bucks at hardware store. Take off door, lay flat, spray completely, cover with plastic wrap, sit 30 minutes. Wipe off excess spray and gently scrape door holding scraper at an angle and avoid the gasket. And while door is soaking, spray cleaner inside the oven with the racks in place. Finish door, take out racks and clean them with a scrubber and start start wiping oven, using the scraper just like the door. Look how easy it is to reach inside without the door in your way. Two hour job at the most, and most of that time is waiting for spray to work.
Why do you wait so long to clean your oven, do it as soon it gets dirty, I wipe the glass door or the oven after supper , it’s still warm and it cleans right off and effortless .
No offence, but if you want people to watch your cleaning tutorial, i would avoid telling them that your technique was really hard, used lots of chemicals you needed the fan on for, took all day and hurt your elbows. I dont want to do that. It sounds like ot doesn't really work if its that hard to do. There are ways to clean your oven that take absolutely minimal effort
Lol we love the self clean function too. Makes our lives sooo much easier. Sometimes our clients forget to run it before we come or their oven doesn't have that option...and this is our day at work lol.
Dawn dishwashing liquid, baking soda, and lemon juice. let it sit, then wipe it off. Scrape if you have to with an old credit card. Rinse with a damp paper towel as necessary
Take the oven door off, it's easier. Just remember how you unlatched it's hinges cus ya need a youtube video to figure out how to put it back on. Ask me how I know. 😂❤
Put the racks on several layers of newspaper inside a heavy duty large trash bag on your driveway. Spray the racks with oven cleaner, or use sudsing ammonia and water. Seal or tie the bag shut. Let it sit in the sun for most of a day. Open the bag carefully, let the fumes dissipate and then scrub the racks with crumpled foil or steel wool. Hose the racks off, let them dry outside. For the oven itself, use the self-clean setting. Expect an awful smell while the oven gets super hot, and a huge electric bill for the month. After the oven cools, use crumpled foil and a damp rag to get rid of ashy residue. Then, remove the door and use the same process as for the racks to clean the door. Good luck!
Easy off is garbage. I went to the cleaning house and got industrial-strength oven cleaner. It works great and even better. Don’t let your oven get in such a state. clean it often. also, the industrial oven cleaner is great for glass shower doors, it removes built up soap, scum. make sure you put something on the floor under your glass shower door so the oven cleaner doesn’t damage linoleum or tiles.
Sorry I have a major better way to clean with no elbow grease. Take baking soda and sprinkle it all over than use dawn dish soap must be Dawn, mix into paste than spray with straight vinegar than squirt lemon juice let sit for 20 to 60 minutes than spray with vinegar and wipe off. Viola
Why are people not using the clean setting on the oven? It uses high heat to make all that gunk into a easy-to-wipe ash with no scrubbing required. And no toxic fumes
Where did you learn to clean an oven door? Just because you got it clean doesn't mean you cleaned it correctly. Only place in an oven steel wool can safely be used is on the racks. You are putting scratches in the enamel and on the glass.
Do yourself a favor and buy yourself a scouring stick trust me it works leaves a lot of dusty stuff when it breaks off that can easily be vacuumed no sprays needed it’ll clean everything even the glass without damaging it try it out!!
should have left it on all day and some steel wool. YOu need to burn off your oven for 20 min high afterwards to remove the chemicals or it will taint your food. most plant oils turn to plastic when cooked. if you use coconut oil or ghee to cook it comes off without chemicals.
As soon as you spray the easy off you covered in plastic wrap and let it do its job after it melts off the grease and whatever is left you use a scraper then wipe it off 123 it will be gone and you wouldn't had to have scrubbed that for hours
Why not use the self cleaning program on the oven. My over was horrible abd then I found the self cleaning program and Wa La brand new and beautifully clean.
Oh trust us we are big fans of the self clean feature lol. Sometimes our clients forget to run it before we arrive or their oven doesn't have that feature.
Just spray your cleaner and cover with saran wrap overnight. It melts the grub and the smell is minimal. Then you wipe with the plastic as you peel it off and start wiping. I learned this from Aurikakatariina on TH-cam
Yes, that's how I do it too! Comes right off, no scrubbing!
Same here. So much easier.
Thanks ill try it this weekend. Mine isnt bad but i haven't found a good cleaning method that works well so i have been delaying cleaning it.
Thank you so much, as I have pets ( and a parrot ). Id hate to harm by that chemical and or smell. Wrapping, why didn't I think of this!
Again,Thanks 🌹
Something told me to look in the comments Ty
Use a scraper. It would take the burned fat and oils away in a second.
What happened to spraying it on at night and cleaning it the next morning?
You know the doors can come off so you can take the door outside and not worry about the fumes.
The trick is to get them back on again, lol
it’s not as easy as some make it look either 😅 especially if you have little arms 😂
Still wouldn’t want to cook food near those chemicals. They aren’t going to just wash off, if they are that strong. Talk about toxifying.
I clean my oven every time I use it so much easier than cleaning baked on grease.
So right!👍🏾
That's how I was raised, too.
Yup 👍🏾
Oven cleaner, cover in saran wrap so the product doesn't dry out, let sit for 4 hours or more, take a scrapper to remove most of the dirt. 5 minutes to clean, no effort.
Easy Off has a fume free spray.
Put the oven on warm, it helps the cleaner work
I use my oven a lot. And ther is no way mines even been this dirty.
Lucky you. My oven door looks exactly like the demo
I clean my with the dollar green degreaser and I only have to do it once. It works great!
Cif cleaner works sooo well.
Wow, that’s caked on, good job! Yeah need elbow grease for sure
razor blade in a paint scraper tool works WONDERFULLY.
I try to clean my oven often so it doesnt take so long… but yes, elbow grease is totally needed.
I just watched a few other vids addressing this same problem. From “Dawn” to harsh foaming spray oven cleaner, Ive seen people use a variety of different products to get the job done.

These doors come off very easily and you can clean it in the sink. It's made to come off for easier cleaning but nobody knows about it.
Wow, I can't believe everybody is still using oven cleaner. I started using Dawn powerwash. Give it a try. It works pretty well without using hash chemicals like oven cleaners. Just spray it on and let it set.
I’d throw it away and order a new one 😂😂😂
Lol that's how I felt cleaning my oven today 😅
Put a pot of steaming water in the oven to help loosen all of the burnt on stuff.
Looks Hella good!
You should NOT use steel wool on that oven glass, which has a special coating that you just stripped off.. If the grease won't come off completely use one of those Mr. Clean pads. Magic.
Also another tip,if you read the container it says you can preheat the oven to 200 degrees..and spray it for faster action

Girl, spray that on and cover it in saran wrap. Leave overnight and easy peasy.
Good tip straight edge razor blades
GIRL, JUST GET SOME "BAR KEEPER'S FRIEND"!!!!
Liquid or powder?
@@mstamekab1701
It's toxic.
Sometimes you can preheat oven to 200 then turn off and spray cleaner or spray and let it sit overnight. I don’t have all day 😂😂😂
Do you leav8e the door open or close it (im a beginner)
@@doeeyes2 closed you want the oven a bit warm then spray n leave it closed for a couple hours .
Why do you wait so long to clean your oven, do it as soon it gets dirty, I wipe the glass door or the oven after supper , it’s still warm and it cleans right off and effortless .
Just get a steam cleaner it works really good for that
Scrub daddy paste is so great to clean oven door

Easy Off is one of those products that makes cleaning ovens simple. I dont know what she was doing. Easy off also has fume free spray.
You know even the very cheap models of ovens have a self clean feature? It's so worth it even if you have to buy the next model up.
Agreed, we tell our customers to run the self clean before we come (if they have one). Unfortunately they don't always remember.
Use a sharp paint scraper to get the burn-off off of the glass! Works every time!
I just press the self clean button on mine. lol
Lol we love the self clean function too. Makes our lives sooo much easier. Sometimes our clients forget to run it before we come or their oven doesn't have that option...and this is our day at work lol.
It can be cleaned in about an hour using scraper, paste and scourer👌
Gotta finish the rest!!
Better soak with softscrub cleaner and put wet paper towel on top for 10 minutes. You don't need to scrub all day long
Dawn dishwashing liquid, baking soda, and lemon juice. let it sit, then wipe it off. Scrape if you have to with an old credit card. Rinse with a damp paper towel as necessary
Mr Muscle worked better. The the Saran Wrap was a good idea too.
Take the oven door off, it's easier. Just remember how you unlatched it's hinges cus ya need a youtube video to figure out how to put it back on. Ask me how I know. 😂❤

You could have gotten the same results using baking soda and vinegar.ijs😊
Earth Stone kitchen cleaner. So much less elbow grease, less time, and non-toxic.

When was the last time you clean that oven 10 years ago?
Beautiful, good job!!
If you are a Sam’s club member buy
Member's Mark Commercial Oven, Grill and Fryer Cleaner,
I used this in my restaurant spray it once and done.
Use a razor next time it will cut your cleaning time in half
Unless it's changed recently, Easy Off can start fires unless the stove is un plugged.
Just spray it, use cling wrap and take a scraper.
Viola
Use the old school Finish dishwasher pods (not the gel kind), they work magic on a oven door.
Use the utility blade that normally comes with an oven along with saran wrap laid down
Why are people not using the clean setting on the oven? It uses high heat to make all that gunk into a easy-to-wipe ash with no scrubbing required. And no toxic fumes
Because it ruins your stove. Repairman always showing up after someone uses self-cleaning function.
Some ovens don't have self cleaning
You could always use brake cleaner first and then wipe away and then final clean with oven cleaner or surface cleaner.
Oh man you need a scrapper razor! They don't damage the glass and scrape it clean in seconds. Poor woman. Please.. buy the razor.
preheat oven to 250 spray cover with plastic let sit at least 2 hours....no elbow grease needed only wipe clean with a damp somge or paper towels
Use baking soda and vinegar with a scrubber.

Shaklee cherrypit cleaner cleans sooo much easier and non toxic
È fantastico ma dove si vende,
Spray and leave overnight. Also remove the door and take it outside and hit it with a drill brush.
Baking soda and vinegar works
And club soda if you want😊 thanks
OMG that is to much chemicals. You should try something else. 😅
Don’t use oven cleaner with Birds/Parrots anywhere near that deadly cleaner.
wow...sos really works good....surprised....yes i saw that on utube,,,, you take the door off....
Can anyone help how to clean the area between two glasses ( outer & inner)? Thanks
We have a video for that. Check out our other videos. it's one of our first.
Thanks
Scrub daddy cleaner and a scrub daddy sponge and love your life no fumes apply wait 30 min clean with scrub daddy happy life!!!
Girllllllll put your oven product- open the heat 10 min - wait - close it - easy clean
If I listen to you, I Never clean my oven...
If you have to take that much precaution with the chemicals used, do you really want to cook food in that oven?? 😂
Easy Off has oven cleaner for ovens that do not have self cleaning. Seriously.
Girl all you got to do is let spray that stuff on their close the door and let it sit for 12 hours and it'll come right off
Get the oven cleaner man in ! He’s great 😊 life is too short for that much scrubbing 😮
Vinegar and baking soda with a razor blade will do this without the chemicals.
Aren't you supposed to warm up the oven first?
Self cleaner mode or boiling hot water with vinegar+ dawn+ baking soda and lemon
What about inside still greasy?
You can take down the door and take so presure washer
should have left it on all day and some steel wool. YOu need to burn off your oven for 20 min high afterwards to remove the chemicals or it will taint your food. most plant oils turn to plastic when cooked. if you use coconut oil or ghee to cook it comes off without chemicals.
That oven looks like a man has been doing the cooking.
Use a metal scraper ❤
Clean every use don't let go for so long and you will still have your arms
You just don't leave it dirty for 10 years
Heat the oven first to hot hot hot. Then spray easy off on the hot surface. The dirt will go off in no time
As soon as you spray the easy off you covered in plastic wrap and let it do its job after it melts off the grease and whatever is left you use a scraper then wipe it off 123 it will be gone and you wouldn't had to have scrubbed that for hours
Shoulda let it sit for 2 hrs at least like the can says , u woulda saved some arms
Use a razor blade to scrape the glass. Be done in half the time
Caros desgrasa, is the best
Should have let it sit longer
What's this spray called?
Cover with cling wrap, won't have to redo.
White vinegar & baking soda? Can't do fumes.
You spray it on before bed and clean it the next day. WHO TAUGHT YOU HOW TO CLEAN?😮😂
Because it will ruin your stove. Trust me. That's what repairmen will tell you.
shoulda heated the oven to 250 and shut it for 40 mins
If you eat starch foods you won't have to worry about this that much.
