When I was a little girl about nine years old we went to visit my grandparents in Ouray. A very cute town my grandmother used to own the flower shop there. It was the first time that I ever seen snow. It it very beautiful for sure. Brought back a lot of child hood memories. Good thing that your dad had a generator that you could use to power back up. Ouray, Silverton and Telluride are definitely some of my favorite places. I love watching your adventures and always look forward to your videos! Safe travels out there guys!
Good evening from Godley Texas, solar on roof would be beneficial. I carry a 1000 watt generator in case the weather goes sideways and I need to charge batteries. Fantastic Fan, lights, and cooler are the only draws on my batteries. Stay safe and happy travels 😎
Good evening, John! That’s all the power draw we have as well, but after a week or so of shaded spots and rain it all finally caught up. Still can’t complain about the longevity we get out of a full charge though! Have a great week
Hey guys thanks for sharing this video. Looked liked a beautiful spot. Question how to you stay cool ? like you I have no a/c I hear alot of full timers start heading to the mountains. You guys seem to be doing great on the road, so nice to have the time to travel with your family. As always stay safe and healthy.
Hey Mark! When we know the weather is going to be warm, we try to find spots near water and in the shade. Now this doesn’t happen every time, but keeping the shaded side of the camper’s window open and running the exhaust fan constantly will maintain the temperature slightly. Other than that, we try to have ice in our cooler for cold water and spend as much time in the shade as possible. Thanks for asking!
Hi Kip, yes it charges while driving but only at 60w. We only moved spots about 2 hours away and that wouldn’t have been enough to get us though the next day

What size solar panels do you have?
We have a 50w portable panel and a 100w briefcase panel. Hoping to have 400w of solar on the roof someday
Why did you charge it up just before leaving camp? Doesn't it charge while driving?
Hi Kip, yes it charges while driving but only at 60w. We only moved spots about 2 hours away and that wouldn’t have been enough to get us though the next day
