It really is hard to wrap your head around the fact that some people are willing to bankrupt themselves for someone they've never been in the physical presence of.
Anyone can reach a point in their lives when they feel lonely and wanted. It’s not a good thing when you listen with your heart and not your head. Besides being low-down scumbags, scammers are expert manipulators…they play the lie and deny game very well. It’s unfortunately easy to convince someone of love when they’re lonely.
There's such a pattern to every one of these stories!! Someone should try to scam the scammer: "My queen, I need your help -- can you send me $10,000?" "Oh, honey, my king ... I was just going to ask the same thing from you! My garden hose got clogged and water is backing up into my kitchen. I need $10,000 so I won't have to tap my home owner's insurance. Send me a check as soon as you can. I'm water-logged! I need you! You said you loved me, so why won't you help me? The water's getting higher! I'll pay you back as soon as we meet. Babe? My love? Hunny? BABE!!"
I THINK ABOUT THAT EXACT THING!!!! Tell them I love them after 2 hours, then ask for an ass load of money right after professing my love to him!!!!! Tell him I want to come to India and live with him!!!
Fraud it’s possible as a result of the internet, and the internet is there providing all kinds of tools to research anything anytime, specially and before sending hundreds of thousands of dollars, selling your car and your house! In today’s world unfortunately, the only person you can trust without doubt, IT’S YOU!!
Did you notice how he told her first off that it really was her job/responsibility to get the $80,000 because, after all, she was 'the one who got the account locked.'???!!! Their audaciousness is mind-blowing!!
@@dingytv538 The only thing that could possibly be correlated with your nutty US politics amongst romance scams is that the demographic is the same as the trump voters. After sending him $96,000, she decided no more, he sounds like a scammer 🙄 She has children, including a 12yo son, and she was giving all her money and time to a stranger.
Alot of these victims are not being honest if they admit that they give money to the scammers because the pictures used show attractive men/women. Forget about loneliness because they never met the scammers so they are still alone.
I don't think its only Nigerians, seems like black people in general use the terms queen & king all the time, i hear it from african Americans all the time lol.

Indeed days of monarchy are over.My Mom said my dad never did that & No one else I knew did,I hate it when they call them "Babe" too. I hate it when they say "Babe" & Call them "Their Queen.
I'm Belizean and I live with my fiancé. He calls me "babe, my queen, my love, etc". So, for us as Central Americans, those words aren't foreign to us, especially in a romantic relationship.
On a local radio station a 76 yo lady called in about how happy she was to be engaged to marry a 20 yo man from Africa. The radio hosts were very respectful and kind, and outed her last name so anyone listening would stop her from this scam, and happily her own kids were listening to that station that day and they all held an intervention with her BEFORE she sent money.
He had a good, plausible story. Peopld need quit piling on the victims where and show some humanity. If you must kick someone, try aiming for the perpetrator. He's the too lazy to work bad guy, and stupid too since he will one day in up in the penitentiary!
I wouldn't do it for my current boyfriend who lived with me for 3 years and he just dumbed me because I didn't want to pay for both of our rent anymore.
Not if he is the one sending you money and you never have given him a penny or anyone else. If someone I am with calls me by my name or vise versa someone is mad!😅
Don't even need that...if you're a solid 4 and some sudden random 10 gets at you and worse falls in love with you in weeks...that alone should be all the red flag you need. They shouldn't even need to type out one thing. Problem (with these folks) are they have a serious issue with delusion and having reality go right over their heads. Most of them are likely NPCs so it's not that surprising.
Yes, she seems to be quite enjoying recounting her story, of being scammed. This suggests to me that this person loves attention, and she certainly got the worst kind.
If the scammer had told this woman that he had been kidnapped by a fire breathing dragon who was asking for $5 million, this amazingly intelligent woman would have believed that too.
She wouldn’t do this for her kid, women that have hit the wall are dangerously desperate for attention. They are willing to die to find love, very unintelligent. No men are chasing senior citizens, once you hit the wall embrace it. This will continue as women are delusional & unrealistic.
Good question. That's what I wonder. She had 3 kids and just threw that money to the wind. She could have invested all that, maybe put in a college fund, or something.
You send thousands upon thousands of dollars, and when you can't send anymore, he tells you that YOU are being selfish. That didn't even penetrate her stupidity.
What is truly horrifying is that scammers will continue draining their victims until there’s literally nothing left, then keep on trying to get more. Vampires would have more compassion than these monsters.
But she’s giving him money because she wants to get her hands on that big big (fake) bank account of his. These “victims” are shallow and greedy and entitled and delusional.
I agree. It's one thing to scam someone out of a few hundred or even 3 or 4 thousand dollars (it's still wrong and disgusting!) But when you render a person homeless or destitute it's pure evil
@@jswan312I doubt the ones being scammed would be as heartless. They're both wrong but there are degrees of wrongness in this and the ones taking miles when given an inch are worse.
Out of the 50 red flags here, one that always hits me is “no one knew about this”. When I met my husband, the world knew. I was head over heels and anxious to share my happiness. If you can’t tell people about this man or that you are sending him money, on some level you know something isn’t right. She sent this man what could have been her little boy’s education. I try to be sympathetic and understand these women. I fail miserably.
I think deep down they know the truth, but it becomes an addiction - a dirty secret that you keep between you and your scammer. I'd love to hear a therapist's take on this phenomenon.
Plenty of them do tell their family…and when children/siblings/close friends try to help, the scammed party reacts very badly and sticks by the fantasy instead.
When I met my now-ex bf, I didn't tell anyone about him. We met online. He lived 3k miles away. He was significantly younger than me. And our connection was so insanely intense and immediate, I didnt think anyone would understand. I told the only people who I thought would. Best friend. Therapist. And eventually, my granny. Some relationships are atypical, and you don't need everyone's opinions. He's real. We met in person. Currently live in the same town. Dated irl for several years. I still didn't talk about him much because I knew their perspectives already. Anyhoo, not justifying what this woman did. But I do understand her hesitation to tell folks, and that doesn't inherently mean the relationship itself has red flags. Just means that the people you'd tell would have negative opinions. Not everyone has a supportive family regarding such things.
She meant that nobody knew about her giving him all that money. She did tell several people, including her mother or grandmother, who would often ask when he was coming back.
I think it's very brave of these people to come out and say that they've been scammed. If it were me, recalling how I've been so stupid would be really traumatizing.
@@ericrivera8410 Like that one guy who came on full on admitting he was planning on leaving his kid & gf, in hopes of finding out his scammer was actually real. He was willing to risk it all for that .000001% chance.
I hate to sound harsh, but I honestly think they’re just too stupid to realize how stupid they are. When they give permission to be posted on TH-cam, they actually think we will all just fell sorry for them because they got “scammed”. Sorry, but I have no sympathy for these people. They willingly chose to send money to complete strangers.

I strongly believe all those dating apps, especially the paid ones, should bombard their members with warnings about scammers. Or maybe Social Catfish should launch their own dating app.
They mostly do though. I’ve been on Tinder and Hinge before, and there are so many warnings it’s almost annoying. There’s also an option for you to verify your account with them to prove you’re really the person in your pictures. If people want to believe the fantasy, nothing that’s done or said will stop them. We can even see here on this channel that victims still hold out hope even after all the evidence. It’s sad.
@@JaimeMesChiens I understand what you're saying and believe me, I 'smh' all the time hearing these stories. The problem is, the scammers target these people who DON'T know about reverse searches. People are really financially illiterate huh. Why would someone who has all that money need you to transfer funds for them to pay business expenses? Wouldn’t you think they’d have an accountant or a link to the financial institution to help them with that? Why would he rely on someone he just met on a dating app to handle such large funds? These are basic questions.

I think people who are truly wealthy don't offhandedly mention to anyone they just meet that they have gobs of money? They don't advertise that so casually. People with that kind of money are actually more careful letting that information out.
They don't just blurt out that they have a lot of money if they want to see if the new person isn't just interested because of that money rather than liking them for who they are. When someone tells another wealthy person they have a lot of money it is often because the other person mentioned it first and then it is really both of them bragging. That relationship will be built on money rather than love.
Exactly. Genuinely rich people usually won't talk about it because they're fully aware of the ramifications of having loose lips about that sort of thing.

Somebody younger than you, very handsome, who you have never met in person, tells you they are rich, you are their queen, and they want to marry you . That all makes a lot of sense since it happens daily. If you are that much in love with them, save your money and book a ticket to Lagos to meet them in person.
It baffles me how those who are victimized think very attractive, very successful people are attracted to them. And they aren’t confused that such well-educated, successful people need so much money/gift cards? One must be in a very specific, vulnerable place in life to buy all of this.
They are very vulnerable. People are generally very gullible. And the scammers take advantage of that. About half of us would tell them to take a damn hike (after asking for money, no matter how good looking they are) but about the other half will fall for it. The hustle and bustle of life doesn't help people think more clearly... and a lot of other factors play into this gullibility. These people ignored red flags and so on...
Yepp, your last sentence nail it, they must had been in this vulnerable place in life. Unfortunately the education we received in school did and have not taught us how to protect our minds and hearts especially during times like these from the scammers/cheaters so we MUST self educate.

I sympathize with this lady but I find it very hard to believe that a person of her age can be so gullible and desperate for attention. With maturity should come wisdom and some sceptism.
99% of these women have never received much attention from men ever in their life. That's sexist. Women are conditioned to a lifetime of judgment of what they deserve based on their looks which start going in everybody when they get older. Women are punished for aging
It's not just women, this happens to lots of men too but men are too ashamed to come out and talk about it. So I know a lot of people are saying that "women are desperate" but men are just as guilty

That's a date with a person you met online. These people talk about "online dating" and all it consists of is chatting and texting. That is NOT "dating". If they won't meet IRL, drop them.

I agree these people are absolutely stupid, they are trying to stay with the guy so they give them the money and it back fired on her. If her kids said can I loan some money she would flatout, say no . I feel so sorry for the kids adults or not . From Australia.
I'm still shocked that people actually do this. The way she's telling it she acts like she's recounting a fun vacation or something. This woman is INCREDIBLY stupid
There is an element of greed, plain and simple. 'I have plenty of money to take care of you' but... he needs your money. And.. not all women fall for this fake flattery. Your son could have had an education with all that money.
This woman was receptive and compliant as hell. She offered up virtually NO resistance. And DAMN this scammer after she took two jobs and got loans to send almost six figures shortly comes back trying to setup the next cash grab. This dude was relentless. She would have been better getting a professional boyfriend off of one of those sites they have these days and it would have been cheaper.
The really sinister thing about these romance scams is it takes so little skill to perpetrate them. The only attribute of these scammers is they have no soul or ability to care about anyone but themselves. I’ve heard those caught say well it’s on the internet and the victim was not forced. Great rationale for ruining someone’s life! They are common, useless criminals.
I agree. It’s also really alarming how little it takes to make someone fall in love. A few ‘My Queens’ and ‘did you eat yet my dear?’ and people fall head over heels. I think there is a lesson there about relationships in general, as in - a little kindness and attention will go a long way in IRL relationships and women need to expect more and speak up on what they want in partnerships too. Especially men and women of a certain age.
@@blondesense1708 very thoughtful comment by you. During the days before the printing press people communicated by writing long and sometimes intense letters thereby getting close emotionally. In my case, I felt closer to my catfish scanner in 5 days of texting than my ex wife after 2 months of dating. One can’t underestimate how uninhibited writing can create a bond that face to face meetings sometimes never reach. If you’ve never been in a car accident you can’t possibly know the trauma that can cause. I resent people who portend to predict how they would react under similar circumstances.
Hard to feel sorry for someone that handed over that kind of money to someone she never even video chatted with, let alone ever talked to on the phone. Absolutely ridiculous🙄.
They are selfish (money could go to family worthy cause community) lazy ( could go out in community) to meet people narcissistic (hes much younger better looking) not interested in a real average man
I was catfished twice the first time I was young and it was before the show and video phones so I didn't know any better. The second time I refused to give that fucker more than two dollars
Again, the common denominator that initates these men/women to get scammed is GREED! This scammer offers potential to get MORE money and shows them fake documents that they have all this money and they jump at it.....Sad!
You hit the nail on the head with the common denominator phrase. They are both greedy and therefore I do not have sympathy for that situation. They justify seeing that big bank account by saying that it means that they will be paid back for the loan they provide, but let's be honest... They want a part of that money to spend on an easier life for themselves.
No, the common denominator is feeling flattered and becoming obsessed with the scammer based on the idea of being with someone who’s younger, more attractive and seems to be a nice person. They give money because they believe it means they have more of a chance at being with their dream person.
Not necessarily. They might simply see the money and feel "reassured" and "safe" in the illusion that the person can pay them back. They mostly see what they give as temporary loans. I don't think the person here was motivated by greed. While some of them may be motivated by it, a lot of them are usually just blinded by the romance and the desire they have to feel loved romantically. If you also take into consideration the green card scammers, the women in love with these guys behave the same as the ones here, yet there can be no greed associated with it since most men who marry for a green card are dirt poor. The fake romance fantasy (mostly with a handsome guy) in itself is a strong motivator imo.
You seriously need to ask.."how would you be getting through this if you hadn't met me?"...Also tell them "you're a smart, wealthy man..you should make provisions for any issues/emergencies that might arise"...Geez who would want to be with a person that can't handle their own affairs..🙄
Exactly! Real wealthy men have other rich friends they can ask for a loan if needed. It’s extremely rare for millionaires to not have other friends or business partners with the same income/wealth. It doesn’t make sense to ask a stranger for money.
Nursing is a physically demanding job. If she married him then he dies on an oil rig his life insurance would make her rich. And she would hang up her nursing uniform. Women got these ideas in the back of their heads. I saw a video where a Japanese woman went to Bali where she dated a local man while on vacation and paid for everything he needed. Then married him and sponsored him to come to Japan. She got him a restaurant job. After two weeks he asked the boss where is his salary? The boss told him his wife told him to give it to her. When he asked his wife why is she taking his salary she told him when she was in Bali she spent money on him and kept notes of all the money she spent. She told him nothing is free. He eventually divorced her and returned to Bali.
I hope her children are set for life since she gave all her money to the scammer. This is terrible like terrible. She has small kids that are still growing that has needs but she worried about this man like I’m lost.
Classic oil rig scammer story and M.O. Good looking man on an oil rig who needs to fund his own job related equipment and addressed her as "my queen". My heart just dropped as I know immediately that she is being scammed without even waiting for the reveal. And this was just posted so the oil rig story is still working on some people.
I think the oil rig is a perfect scammer scenario - it’s isolated (great excuse to not meet the victim or be able to video chat), mysterious (easier to BS the victim about needing $ for the business), rugged (so you seem more attractive to the victim), and dangerous (so you can get injured etc.)
'I loved him so much'......after him reaching out to her. Oh my goodness - I can't believe there are still women who do this. That 'queen' language makes me sick.... and her saying 'all of those nice things a woman will fall for...' NO!! Most women would not.....
She didn’t say RN. People often call themselves a nurse when in actuality, they are a certified nurses aid. That certification takes about six weeks as opposed to registered nurse that takes upwards of four years.
Does anyone else notice that many of these “victims” are not using current or realistic photos of themselves on their own profiles? Just thinking out loud here… but not using an accurate profile photo isn’t being 100% honest in attracting a REAL relationship (although the scammers don’t care what you look like).
Exactly the comment I was looking for. The profile pic and the real video look 20 years and 20 pounds apart. Be realistic. Maybe you’ll get a real person!
No those aren’t “nice things a woman will fall for”. Those are things a sucker will fall for. Like”the tubes are crusted all around”. That sounds totally legit!

Honey, queen, and wife are typical. They will call you other things, by copying what you say. I also have a form from the so called U.N telling me how much it would cost to have my husband, the other victim, to get him on leave, which is crap. When I see stuff on my Facebook, like a picture with a little square under the picture saying “send message” I post a little paragraph about this telling them not to send a message and not to go to WhatsApp or hangouts, because scammers use these places because they can’t be traced. I’ve had a lot of people thanking me and asking questions. I have helped some!

One of the key ways that scammers gain your trust is by showing you that they in fact trust you first. We have the reflex of wanting to show them trust in return and they hijack that, and far too easily, since they promise affection and money and attention. Pay attention to yourself first. Someone who trusts you out of the blue should be a big red flag. But people are disarmed by their charm and looks and their own vulnerability to needing to feel important and involved in emotional drama.

I agree these people are absolutely stupid, they are trying to stay with the guy so they give them the money and it back fired on her.
If her kids said can I loan some money she would flatout, say no .
I feel so sorry for the kids adults or not .
From Australia.
These people have lost all sense of reality, they actually believe what these scammers are telling them !!
Reality was never in their lives. Low IQ was. 😮
an extra job and multiple loans. this is inconceivable I'm terrified that she is nurse take care of people.
I'm still shocked that people actually do this. The way she's telling it she acts like she's recounting a fun vacation or something. This woman is INCREDIBLY stupid
Desperate women please stop, wake up and smell the pizza 🍕, smell the coffee ☕ do something.
Pizza!!!!! Bwahahaaaaa!!!
@@BAWNBAWNBAWN I heard Mikey say it from TMNT.
Curl up with a dog. I can't imagine anyone going on any dating site to begin with.
@@jackjines3461 Well whatever helps them.
So, from $0 to $97k seemed "legitmate" but past that it's not? I've never heard such moronic reasoning in my life.
And the scammers do this to multiple victims at once that’s why they don’t use their names
@@Sam-vd3tu Yep! You never know when you might be in a weak moment.
Are you angry with politicians as well? 😂
What sane person would take out loans and get a second job to send $96K to a total stranger. She probably won't even lend $1000 to a long-time friend.
Reading the interest rates alone would send me into a stroke.
No sane person would.
@@ericrivera8410they have toys nowadays. Coat a lot less $$$ too
It makes it hard to believe that someone who suffered such utter financial ruin, could discuss those events with such a cheerful demeanor.
They all do. It’s bizarre but I also think it’s because part of them thinks it’s still true and the money isn’t really lost
human brains are crazy like that
I often get messages from "engineers" and "doctors" saying "hi beautiful", I instantly block them.
Good! And tell your friends and family, people need to talk about this danger
Not to mention the military men lol
I have pilots, generals, even Donald Trump liked me
She says she's the strongest person in the family? She's also the most gullible person in the family.
What a family...😮
Again, the common denominator that initates these men/women to get scammed is GREED! This scammer offers potential to get MORE money and shows them fake documents that they have all this money and they jump at it.....Sad!
You hit the nail on the head with the common denominator phrase. They are both greedy and therefore I do not have sympathy for that situation. They justify seeing that big bank account by saying that it means that they will be paid back for the loan they provide, but let's be honest... They want a part of that money to spend on an easier life for themselves.
@@islandgal500 Exactly!
No, the common denominator is feeling flattered and becoming obsessed with the scammer based on the idea of being with someone who’s younger, more attractive and seems to be a nice person. They give money because they believe it means they have more of a chance at being with their dream person.
Amen!
Drew and Bre are so kind. The tools on this website are so helpful and hopefully will stop these scams.
How they not burst out laughing at these fools is beyond me.
It's been said many times before but again, NEVER send money to anyone you never met !!!
Pffft, one's children aren't automatically entitled to one's money, especially as adults.
@lilithowl That's not what the law says. If you die without a will, your children are your heirs.
Didn’t shown or caught the real scammer in show, I am very interest to see this real evil face!
You can never put an end to these scams because a FOOL is soon separated from her or his money.
Sadly...Once a fool...ALWAYS a fool 😢
Exactly she is a complete and utter fool.
Low IQ
Sad that someone who says she is a Nurse would be so gullible and naive. Too laugh about it may be nerves. Hope the authorities can get her money back
She didn’t say RN. People often call themselves a nurse when in actuality, they are a certified nurses aid. That certification takes about six weeks as opposed to registered nurse that takes upwards of four years.
I met a lot of foreign nurses that are dumb and also don't know English.
She saw all of that $$$$$ in the fake bank account and “invested” her money in a meal ticket. 🤷♀️
Does anyone else notice that many of these “victims” are not using current or realistic photos of themselves on their own profiles?
Just thinking out loud here… but not using an accurate profile photo isn’t being 100% honest in attracting a REAL relationship (although the scammers don’t care what you look like).
Absolutely correct! Deceptive.
Exactly the comment I was looking for. The profile pic and the real video look 20 years and 20 pounds apart. Be realistic. Maybe you’ll get a real person!
Scammers want you to keep them a secret. First red flag. I told my failed scammer I tell my kids everything!
I can't imagine working and saving my whole life only to hand it all over on a silver platter🙁. 2 loans on top of your 401k🤔😖
First he says he’s from a rich family then as soon as he needs money, he’s “all alone and only she can help”
No those aren’t “nice things a woman will fall for”. Those are things a sucker will fall for. Like”the tubes are crusted all around”. That sounds totally legit!
😂
True. I'd be uncomfortable being talked to like that
A lot of women mistake stupidity for kindness.
Oh goodness, these scammers make me want to hurl, absolutely disgusting!
I hurl for the fools throwing their money away! I can’t believe their foolishness
@@paisleyprincess7996 It's their greed that get's the better of them. I doubt she'd be giving him a penny if he'd said he was poverty stricken in the first place!
I can't understand how people fall for their crap. If one asked me for $20, I'd block him!
It’s so sad to see people lose their common sense when their emotions take over. It’s like they have become brainwashed. I used to think these victims were just weak minded, gullible, unsophisticated or foolish but after watching a lot of videos and reading similar stories, I realize everyone is susceptible to being scammed under the right circumstances. That’s why sites like this do a public service by spreading awareness and exposing the tricks of the trade these scammers use.
@Dank Dank I agree with you, nobody will ever scam me. They are so blatantly obvious and use the same bs over and over
@Dank Dank I hate when they say it could happen to anyone. Trust me my son can’t even get a pound out of me much less a thieving scammer who want your life saving
Everyone is not susceptible. I would never give a man money like that.
That's why I am so grateful that I don't have such money to send around.. In my right mind, I'd never send anything to anyone, but, being in love actually affects the brain function and lowers the resistance..
All of these holier than now people think they are too smart to be scammed. I may be smarter than all of these know it alls and I was scammed. It can absolutely happen to anyone. There is no logic that can be applied here. It’s all emotion. If ur a robot, ur right. You’ll never fall for this. But if ur human, you can.
Wow! I really couldn’t take this stupidity anymore 😰 sorry I don’t really understand why some women is being trick with this very obvious scamming.
I really wish you guys would do at least 3 episodes a week!! I can't get enough of these videos and find myself re watching them often because you don't have enough videos listed lol..Great job guys, thank you for bringing more awareness about online love scams..
How do you fall in love with someone YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN?
She thought the one in the photo was him. That was enough for her.
Its only lust
They fall even deeper when it's a fantasy . I don't know any couple who live together, see each other daily and that madly in love.
@@sunbeam9222 It's not love. It's greed because he implied he had tonnes of money!

RUNNNNNNNNNNNN!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If a man tells you how wealthy he is and later, asks you for money that is a giant red flag! Block him on every device you communicate with him on. You will never regret it!
Honey, queen, and wife are typical. They will call you other things, by copying what you say. I would call my scammer “my love” and very shortly, he would call me “my love.” I have four of the same person blocked on hangouts.
That is brilliant! xx
Hangouts is the scammer's paradise
How do they fall for these very odvious scams?
It's so crystal clear that something isn't right
Hi. I am a scammer from Ghana, i have no choice as we have no Jobs available here. I am only 26years old and have got no job or persons supporting me. I ask you to please lend me some money so I can start up a legitimate business here
Vanity.
"Don't tell me what to do."
"It's my money I'll do what I want."
This is just unbelievable..is it only the people that has already been scammed that watches this?? How can anyone fall for this craziness? How could you send money especially so much to someone you have never met????
One of the key ways that scammers gain your trust is by showing you that they in fact trust you first. We have the reflex of wanting to show them trust in return and they hijack that, and far too easily, since they promise affection and money and attention. Pay attention to yourself first. Someone who trusts you out of the blue should be a big red flag. But people are disarmed by their charm and looks and their own vulnerability to needing to feel important and involved in emotional drama.
You're 'Preaching to the Choir'. : )
Good advice. Just went through it myself.
