I keep coming back to this video and thinking about how cool this would be to have as a mini camping car with just a bed and a small counter for storing things.
They sell mini-campers here called "Tentomushi". It's a play on words because tentomushi means lardybug and tent is like a camping tent. Look them up. They are super-rad.
Hey Derek, you mentioned (at 12:02) that the radio won't work in the U.S because of the different frequency... Well, you are half right. The AM frequency will still work, as the wavelength is pretty much the same between Japan and the U.S, while the FM will not, unless you get a frequency tuning mod. Source: I have been driving my JDM imported car this week and noticed this. I get pretty good signal on the AM stations as well!
Honestly I would really want one of these to make into a micro camper. Put a bed a cabinet and a tiny propane cook top and table and your golden!

I love how far back the rear wheels are set, same with the fluted metal sides, the 'Mugen' style front bumper, and the completely flat driver side effect b/C of lack of door. Makes it all look really cool!!
Also your videos btw are great, the attention to detail and humble honest commentary is rare and special.
Constructively the only thing I would like to see is at least some attempt to speak of the price of the vehicles, I realize these are purchased vehicles and the closing price is probably confidential but please tallk about maybe either the original MSRP, what the vehicles bluebook/black book value range is, the range people have paid in the recent past, other recent similar vehicle auctions price range, the range in price vehicles are currently listed for in North America and Japan, appraised value of similar vehicles, etc.
I believe this is an important aspect that might spur more interest from potential customers and just average viewers.

Great comment. I have thought about mentioning price ranges in the videos but have not decided if that is what I want to do. I have a few concerns and have not decided if they are worth it or not. For example, I wonder if I will be able to accurately state a range that the vehicles sell for without being incorrect. Secondly (and this happens frequently) viewers that watch the video after the first year will be getting outdated information. Supras have almost doubled in price since when I started doing these videos, some vehicles fall in price ver time. Even a year can make a bid difference.
It is a very good suggestion so I will put more thoughts into it. Thanks a bunch!

Hi, in the background of this video, i see a 1st gen Honda legend coupe. I am wondering if this car is still available. If not, could you keep a look out for one? My father used to own one and i'd love to buy one back. I'm interested in the colour seen in this video as well as beige and champagne colour.

What's the overall height?
What is "most unique"? It can be either unique or not unique. As a Canadian who has had to study French in school, you should know that "unique" means "one of a kind." If you meant "most unusual" or "most special", then you should have just said so. A no-brainer.

also in the nissan caravan walkaround you mentioned the current scion/toyota company vehicle was too small but it looks like you still use it. any reasons as to why you haven't traded it in for something else?
The red E46 went to the scrap yard.
The company BB will be replaced but I don't have the motivation to do it yet. For now, it works okay.

I was referring to the head when I was speaking of the exhaust ports, not the exhaust manifold. Most modern 3-cylinder engines have three intake ports, and three exhaust ports (one per cylinder) but this car has three intake ports and just two exhaust ports. The valves in the head merge from three to two before they exit the head. It's strange... I can only guess that the centre cylinder splits into two runners and merges with the outside cylinders.
So what's the official name of this car ?? Mira Cargo or what?
