I just got hired in a new district about an hour and a half away from where I was teaching and right around the corner from where I now live! YAY! I just got the keys to my new classroom and officially signed my contract, so I can start moving into my new room! I'm excited to take you along for the setup!
I''m just a random stranger on the internet who isn't a teacher, won't be a teacher, but enjoys classroom setup videos... and I just wanna say, your excitement for your new journey has ME excited lol.

Girl, you got so much done on a move out/move in day! Tired…where? It’s crazy how we push ourselves as Teachers to fit it all in. Energy seems to come from somewhere. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the new space. Have a great school year!

How long did it take you to get through school to become a teacher?
I got my BA in English (never wanted to be a teacher lol). And then got my credential and MA in a joint 13 month program, which included student teaching.

That’s her old commute. Her nephew commute is 20 mins! That is why she moved schools
