    Hi James completely agree with you on using as forgiving irons as you can , just not sure why your not keen on Titliest T400 which have the same tech but look better IMO.Assuming clubs get progressively easier to hit as time moves forward it doesn’t matter much about working hard at hitting difficult blades because we don’t now expect the best players to use hickory sticks ? Even Tour pros go away from blades. What’s key is ease of use, distance and workability though the latter only really applies to the better players and straight usually trumps all.

    These type of Irons are becoming more popular. I've just bought the WS' Launchers but only been driving range with them so far and no word of a lie, first 2 balls hit at the 100yd board with PW...hit the board perfectly. Only hit about 30 balls with 6 of these WS Launchpad irons so far and got me excited ( no easy thing to do ). Comparing to these TM Irons here, I'm listening for the strike as there is a definite "click" noise when you hit the WS launchpad irons pretty well.

    One thing I am concerned about clubs like these, are the dispersion numbers in distance. When I purchased a set of PING G700 irons, they certainly had the height to stop on the green despite being strong lofted, but I found that occasionally the lower spin of the irons would cause me to rip one a club longer than my normal distance with that iron.

    • @qbclay2
      @qbclay2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    • @OKF_Max
      @OKF_Max ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Understandable point. But maybe one time where you would hit it 10 yards shorter the low spin actually saved you and put it pin high. Or you took the wrong club but it worked out. And sometimes it doesn't and it goes to far. So I guess its a give and take.

    I feel the same about my Cleveland Launcher Halo XL's. I would lay a big bet my handy cap will drop 5 strokes once the damn snow melts. I am seriously itching to get on the golf course. From the short time I got to hit them last year I was impressed. I have no idea why a average to below average golfer would not play a game improvement iron. Some continue to try and find clubs that hit straighter and longer and they are right in front of you. Don't be embarrassed, just have fun.

I can't carry enough gloves. I even tried rain gloves. Then I tried Gripmaster Kangaroo Leather and now I don't need gloves. Ever. No removal to putt. Nada. Hey I have a question. I’m looking to buy a new set of clubs. I’m 62 years old. I’m looking to buy a set of hybrid irons. I seen the video on your Wilson hybrid. But I’m looking at buying a set of Cleveland halo hybrid. I was curious if you have hit them at all. Or could you please help on which set to purchase.

      I just picked up a set of Cobra T-Rails and love them.

      Have a look on Dan Hendriksens channel; he did a back to back review series on hybrid irons. Wilson, Cleveland and Cobra.

      @@grahamstaples1221 I saw that video. They seemed to prefer the Cobra. And the 2023 version looks much better than previous versions.

      I’ve been lucky enough to try all three and I prefer the cobras. The wilsons and clevelands were a little bit longer but I think they’re both slightly stronger lofted. The cobra t rails felt better off the face.

    I'm a high handicapper but a I can't hit wide sole clubs. I'm playing Apex pros at the moment and I can flush them much more regularly and hit greens as they cut through the turf. I lose distance on slight mis hits but I feel like I have much more chance of getting better with them.
