Thomas,I have great respect for what you do and you as a person!!! Only people with strong values would teach people as you do!!! You have a great amount of class and it shows each time you teach the public about your hobby!!! It would be easy to hide all the information you have and know and continue to make as much money as possible but you give back everyday it seems!!! Thank you !!!

Despite the rocky beginning, this was a very educational video! I own a couple of early Heeresdolche, but never paid attention to the tang. Nor have I paid much attention to the scabbards beyond the different design features from different manufacturers I knew about. Thank you Mr. Wittmann for sharing another fantastic part of your collection, plus your knowledge of Army daggers!! Well done!

I was reading something recently that said no one knows what happened to Goering's interimstab. I can imagine some American G.I. getting his hands on it a war's end, taking it home, and, not really knowing who it belonged to, putting it in his attic. Can you imagine being at some estate sale and finding Hermann Goering's interimstab on sale for $25 or something, because the seller doesn't realize what it is? LOL!.
