So, iirc, Jungsu did already play piano, but he hadn't had formal lessons since he was a kid and just casually played it in high school when he was learning songs. I haven't seen anything about Ode having played any instruments before becoming a trainee, so afaik he's the only one who had to learn totally from scratch. Also, I don't think this guide mentions it, but Ode was originally an athlete, specifically a cross-country skier. I'm not sure if he got injured or got to a competition level where he got more worried about injury, but whatever it was he decided to shift gears and was set on modeling first until his mom encouraged him to go to a music academy, which i believe is how he ended up auditioning for jype.

Oh, that clip where Junhan is talking to JYP is from their Begins series, which is definitely worth checking out. Say what you will about JYP as a person, he is more often than not cringe incarnate, but at least in his talks w/ the XH members he's very compassionate and gives legit good advice to each of them. His talk w/ Junhan especially made me cry, bc I just relate to him so hard and JYP was so encouraging, telling him that it' really inspirational to see someone overcome their shyness to be a great performer like he has without needing to become a different person, proving that you can till have amazing stage presence and make great art even if you're quiet off stage.
You will just fall more in love once you dive into their variety content. I have a whole list of my fav appearances they've had on variety shows that I'll happily share to propel you further into the villain trap 😁

Thank you for this great reaction! Yes, Jungsu and O.de were supposed to be kpop idols. During their concert they performed a cover of Butter, both singing and dancing. I'm sure they must have been very happy.
They do write long thank you letters to the fans. At their first concert, the final thank you part lasted (I kid you not) an hour, with each of them speaking around 20 minutes and crying like fountains. Except Jooyeon, who spoke two minutes, laughed all the time and just said "Oh my folks are in the crowd. They didn't believe I could make it here. Do you believe me now?". It was hilarious

Jungsu is an introvert but I think he seems extroverted with the members because he is so comfortable with them. I am that way with my friends but am more quiet and anxious when in a group or setting I am unfamiliar with.

You are lucky. My ult bias is Jooyeon and i have the 5 albums and 1 digi album and never got ANY Jooyeon pc. So I have to buy them and Omggg u both got the Jooyeon pc livelock that everyone wants and are not easy to get cos not everyone is selling them :(
Btw Jooyeon has A LOT of Noonas like Jooyeon nation ages goes from +20 to +45, there was a malaysia influencer that she is i think over 45 and she totally biased Jooyeon. And I think another filo influencer too that she was around in her 30.
Tbh im in my +35 and I bias ult Jooyeon, he is soooo pretty and sooo talented is imposible not too and he is the rockstar that Korea needs!!! I think he is more popular around people +25 cos he looks very 90s and early 2000 crush!!! He is sooo adorableee
