For the past three years, Bradley has enjoyed the freedom of full-time off-road living in his 1982 Toyota Sunrader. He spent two years carefully transforming it from a gutted RV shell with standard 2-wheel drive into a rugged 4x4 cozy home complete with a wood stove. With enough provisions, Bradley is equipped to stay in the backcountry for 2-3 weeks at a time!

Thanks for watching!
I love the no sink! And the rear storage. And side storage. And cab access. Great job.
Indeed. I stopped using a sink years ago. It encourages saving water, creates more storage, & keeps things cleaner.
I have noticed that quite a few experienced "van lifers" dispose of sinks and showers inside a vehicle. I have seen hellish water damage totally destroy a beautiful van build, too. Keep your plumbing outside.
Incredible rig, interior and exterior! He's a genius.
A man and his dog...doesn't get much better 🐕
Especially on the peanut butter nights
Mmmm... except maybe a woman and HER dog... 😛😉
👍

Ooh, Toyota quality, 4wd, & fiberglass shell. I too am lusting after this rig. Beautifully & intelligently redone from the truck mechanicals to the interior. I'm inspired & impressed. Thanks!
Yeah I spotted him a while back. In this video he mentions the bigger motor but didn't specify what it was. This thing actually came with the old 22r 4 cylinder which for this was obviously grossly underpowered. He put in the 3.4 V6 that was used in 3rd gen 4Runner's and 1st gen Tacoma's. (If you opted for the V6 package)
Superb quality notwithstanding, the vehicle chassis is already over 40 years old, which is long past its natural life. Maintain something that old could be an issue as parts would be obsolete.
@@mrslcomA steel chassis only last 40 years 😢 (sarcasm). That thing is a total gut rehab. Not a lot of 40 year old parts.
I have an old Lexus and although it does have problems, the one being the melting dashboard I just put a cover on it and that’s good to go. Thanks still drives and I’m cool with that. By the way for people that don’t know Toyota and Lexus are basically the same company.
Wow! that is so nice!!! He should build camper vans for others for a living/side hustle. He has a Gift!!!! Love this!!!
I worked at Sunrader in the early 80s, I sure wish they still made them. Thanks for sharing
This rig has an incredible amount of space saving, organizational and just plain cool extras....Wonderful work all the way around! Thanks so much for sharing Bob, Brad & Lily!
I am a registered nurse and when I have patients that have broken an arm or have wound care, we recommend sponge baths even up to 8 weeks they survive very well. I think we could learn a lot from this.
A spray bottle of vinegar water really satisfies cleaning needs and wants. Reusable towels or paper towels and then I don’t miss a shower at all really.
I got to have a shower it would drive me crazy

One of my favorite interviews so far. What a delightful person and a great setup!

So Happy for him to Jumping off the Precipice and making the Decision to live his life this way. I'm a Vehicle Dweller too.
Wonderful set up. I understand Cedar helps repel insects too. Love the Sun Raider. Perfect for you and your Dog! 😎

Lots of room! Looks great. Still working on my van build.
Oh wow, he definitely maximized space but I love having the bathroom/shower in my Sunrader.
Thank you for the video. Blessings to you.
If I recall correctly, I met Bradley and his Sunrader on the Natchez Trace. If not Bradley, he has a doppelganger driving a similar Sunrader. Be safe.
He has a great site for remote camping
Favorite YTer to date - Definitely crushing on Brad!! Such a great rig, and a quality of life he lives!
Puts my Toyota Winnie Warrior to shame but I still love her.
Thanks, Bob. Very cool.
love that rig, tool roll excellent, love it.

That's a great looking rig, inside and out. Perfect size for a solo & small dog.
Excellent job sir, and happy trails to ya!

Sunraders are the greatest thing ever.

Wow! He has done a fantastic build. Well designed and even better made.
Nice and clean for the gentleman and his doggo❤
This man has done his homework-love that hammock mount
Like that last line. “Now I have ANOTHER rig that I will lust after”.
A delightful gentleman & awesome rig. Thanks for taking me there
Thanks Bob &Bradley great rig!
Really nice ride thanks again Bob great job 👍👍
Absolutely love this rig!
The pop-up silicone basin is such a simple and more versatile solution than an installed sink.
I have one its perfect a cool gadget 👍
Smart! Everything about this rig is well thought out and useful. I want to do the four cameras on my van when I get it, but I never thought about it being used for driving so there are no blindspots. What a smart idea! Also, putting the fridge up front is such a good idea. It saves space and you can have a cold drink while you are driving. hahaha
I did the same. I had an off road trailer built to my specifications and it’s totally off grid as well with a Bluetti AC200Max, 800 watt solar panels, Zero Breeze AC and a Joolca hot water heater. It goes wherever my Jeep Wrangler can go! I travel with my Labrador retriever.
What a beautiful neat home! I esp. love the way the wood burner is set up and that ultra-creative spice rack.
This is the perfect setup!
Love his realness, just say it like it is😊
I wish I had the skills to do what he did.❤ Love the pegboard…great quilting idea.
Adorable pup and great rig setup! Cheers - Nola
Great video 🙏 Thank y'all
I just had recovered from Bob saying Lust after rig and then he said it again 🥴🥴❤cute dog!
Thanks for this❤
Fascinating rig. Loved it.
The overwhelming stress of the rat race: climbing out of the maze can fix so many health problems. Good rig and great presentation.
Nice setup and nice guy.
Cool video Bob.
Nice! Thank you for sharing.
💖 That's a cool set up. Thank you for sharing with us. 😀
Cool rig
Loved everything about this video thanks for sharing ❤
Hi! I've been looking for where to post this, so I guess this video will have to do. On Amazon you have a video from a very helpful lady about how to fold the Abco Pop Up Tent, and I want to thank you and her for making that video available. Amazon has plenty of videos from helpful people eager to show us how to do it. Well, I watched a few of them and got nowhere. One guy folded his tent beyond the camera frame, a couple of others did it so fast I have no idea what they did. But that lady.... ohh, she is wonderful! Particularly that part about where to put your hands on the tent and how to bring them together. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
Excellent rig. Ticks all the boxes.
Praying for your health condition! Your rig is so awesome!!
👋😀👍A very nice setup. Thanks for sharing.
Love your set up !!!
Great rig ... it's nice to have the skill set to be able to improvise and build out the way that works best for you.
Sweet rig. Like the hammock mounts!
Beautiful life!!
Nice man, nice dog, nice home.
Great rig!!! Good luck on the road!
Perfect rig!
That's one great rig! 🤠
I really enjoy Bradley's Chanell!
Great arrangement! What an innovative rig. And they're right - now I want to look for one of these Toyota Sunraders! Will definitely find Brad's channel.
A nice job on this camper. It looks fully functional and a cozy place to live. A great video, Bob.
The sunraiders and dolphins are some of the best deals out there in cheap, reliable, manageable size rv's
Great rig!
This man is very prepared. Awesome!!
I have a boxvan but now I want to abscond with my son's Toyota Tacoma! Love this build.
Try packing cubes for your coats or other clothes. I love them. So easy to move and otherwise manage clothing 😊👍🏼
I wish in every video, two routine questions would be added: How do these full timers handle mail and how are the rigs insured.
They should be asked as routinely as how do you go to the bathroom.
Yup, and how do you file taxes, in what state does one file for residence, pay vehicle tax, get drivers license renewed, vote, find primary care doctor, dentist, and get health insurance.
You get a mail forwarding service in the state you are registered in. They act as your primary mailbox. They will forward your mail to you wherever you are. I have a 20ft travel trailer pulled by a Ford F150 and insure my through Gieco.
@2avcrm There aren't many options for bathroom habits and yet that question is asked in every video.
There will be subtleties in every mail and insurance question, especially for full-timers.
Rigs can include commercial trucks, home-made and every variety in between.
And no insurance company covers every situation.
That's why it is important to have those questions asked, because insurance coverage not only varies but can and does change.
For full-timers, you can't go out there half-a$$ed, not knowing what the experienced people are doing and what problems there might be.
Very sweet rig! ❤️
Dang! That sunrader is older than my momma!
Beyond AWESOME. And a brilliantly designed rig.
