You've hit the recommended videos feed, cognarts Neat video, like the memey presentation. Pacing and delivery of the vocal lines could use a little work to make it more conversational and less stiff, but a really good work for your first go at a video like this! Also, I get that it's a school assignment with limited time lol, but I kinda wish you'd gone into more detail about some of the stuff. What are some of the oldest examples of horn instruments, where were they found? Were there any variations on those animal horns before we got to metal? With the metal, when and where did that innovation occur, and what metal were they using? How did they make it? How did we get from short to longer horns, what was the advantage of length? What /is/ the overtone series? Why exactly does changing the length of the tube change what notes you can play? When we finally get to the sackbut, it would have been neat to throw in some quotes from people at the time talking about it - is there a quote from someone calling it "divine", or the "voice of God"? When we get to the trombone, who invented it, and when? Were the changes gradual and continuous, or were there distinct landmarks along the way? I guess what I'm saying is that you could get into meme/educational TH-cam, and do pretty well if you flesh out the videos just a bit. All in all, A-. Good work, chief
@@evanc.1591 Thanks for the tips! For reference, I recorded/edited this video very quickly/roughly last minute for the project, so I didn't have much time/effort to put into making it a smooth quality voiceover. Also, I was limited to a certain amount of time on this presentation, and didn't have the time to figure out the pacing of this video, as I wanted to make a very basic story of thr Sackbut's history. In the future I may create better quality video essays for the purpouse of content creation on here, but this was just an old school project I had unlisted on my page. Thanks for taking the time to watch!
Beautiful and fascinating
