Fascinating! I actually have the Irin S56 and S58 (this year’s model) - and they’re excellent little EWIs for the money. I’ve found that the controls and configuration are better on this years model (S58) but the bluetooth midi connection on the older S56 is much better and connects nicely to my android devices where I use Fluidsynth with assorted soundfonts - and SynprezfmII which is an excellent FM synth which you can configure to use cc11 instead of cc7 - which is needed on the ‘less-expensive’ instruments. I don’t have issues with usb-midi so I like them both and the S58 is closer in ‘feel’ to the Clarinii. At the prices of the Irin instruments it’s worth having either of them as muck-about instruments - and they’re a great deal of fun. The main reason I personally wanted the Bluetooth is for when I'm teaching and want to be able to walk around the room while still playing through a speaker, but I'm probably a pretty rare case. I've used it to teach a bunch of lessons though, and it's so small and slick for that use.
If you want a professional option its Sylphyo, but you wont see it at a store.
@@mycosys No comparison considering the price of the one you mentioned.
@@fgerv Correct - its a professional tool vs a toy.
@@mycosysNeither are toys but using the mini standalone I can understand your description.

Now I know when to use the Kungfu preset. It's when the EWI is full of saliva. You know? You need to clean and get rid of the water fast. 😂
Ha! I didn't even think of the rain shower I probably caused 😂
Incorporate that into the pieces one compose, a sword section to get rid of the water! 😂
