Tal Ivan gets my vote every time. I was in Sayu for several weeks earlier this year and went to Tal Ivan for late eats the first 10 nights! So good. For breakfast, birria tacos across the bridge on the left (west side) are the Sisters (or at least what I call them!) with a small roadside spot. Great way to start the day. And for lunch (and the best tacos de pescado in town ;)) gotta do Tacos Gaby on Jose Mariscal! Thanks for the memories! Just booked again for Jan/Feb 25.
And also love the tamale guy on the corner across from Tal Ivan. I think 15 pesos for his homemade tamales.
These are the kind of comments that make our day! Thank you so much for these awesome recommendations we’ve been twice and we’ve also done a ton of research and haven’t heard of any of these spots. We will be sure to see them out on our next lead to vacation! Thanks a million!
I live in Sayulita and I love the work you did in this food tour, for the next time there're 3 places that I'd recommend.
Tacos Don Toño by pelicanos street - really authentic tacos a little far from downtown but most local's favs
Bichos - Fancy tacos with a lot of toppings to choose, desserts are bomb too
Antojitos Mexicanos Erika - This is the really hidden spot, you'll see only locals eating there, prepare for really authentic food, I recommend the pozole (prepare to practice your Spanish too because waitress only speak Spanish - which is a good sign)
❤️🇲🇽! Thanks so much! We did a ton of research and have been to Sayulita before and still haven’t heard of any of the three spots you mentioned! Thanks so much we will 100 percent hit these spots up the next time we visit! You’ve probably been but we wanted to feature Pollos Yolanda but just didn’t have the time! We will be back!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences with me 😊
Thanks for watching! This might be our all time favorite place and video. Thanks again for the comment!
Oh my word, this all looks so so amazing! I will be trying both Tacos spots in two weeks! Thanks!
Have a great time, you’re going to love Sayulita! Thanks for watching!
You did so many things right on this video:
Your appearance, sympathy, camera angles, showing menu, information.
Very good. First time here. Thank you
Thank you kindly for the encouragement! We kind of find ourselves watching other videos and craving more information, we are glad you noticed all the stuff we try to include. Ordering in different countries can be scary and difficult so we try to include that to give people a better understanding of what to expect when they visit. Thanks for the comment and for taking the time to watch our videos! Cheers!
coconut shrimp are my FAV
Totally! It’s one of those dishes that if we see them we have to order em!
Such an awesome vlog. I have Sayulita on my travel list. Love Mexico and all the food spots you have shown looked mouth watering.
Thanks a million! Sayulita is amazing! It’s a perfect easy Mexican hidden adventure. Great food too!
I love your videos i wish you guys came back to México
Thanks so much! We are working on plans for this winter so we might! Regardless you can expect a video from Tijuana when we get back from Asia!
I really enjoy watching you all because I've never been to places like that
Thanks so much! We love trying unique foods all over the world. Our bucket list is a long one so as long as we are breathing we will be traveling and eating affordable food! Thanks a million for watching and for the kind comment!
Everything looks so gnarly good 🤤🤤 btw "tacos tal ivan" are said "Tacos Taliban" hahahahaha and I'm not even joking... Food looks bomb, and you guys are starting to climb the ladder with your subscribers ❤
Thanks so much! That makes too much sense because the V sounds like a B in Spanish!!! We totally blew it! Thanks for the correction Alyssa and I are dying laughing about this right now!
Great video, I cant wait to try all the tacos!!!
Thanks so much! Sayulita is so amazing! We can’t wait to go back!
Welcome to Nayarit the shrimp 🦐 🍤 🦐 🍤 capital of Mexico ❤
No wonder there was so many delicious shrimp dishes! We had no idea! Thanks so much!

Saludos amigos que bueno que disfruten nuestro hermoso México
¡muchas gracias! ¡Estamos muy tristes de que nuestra serie de México haya terminado! Asegúrate de suscribirte, ¡planeamos hacer un par de videos de Tijuana este verano!
Not even a mexiican would dare to to make a contest
, brave couple, what a challenge, not safe challenge, ever
Thank you for watching and commenting. We love Mexico and Sayulita!
Flat out, did y'all feel safe in mexico? Why do you guys have to make me crave all these amazing foods??? So jelly right now.
Glad you like this one! All in all we have spent at least a year of our lives in Mexico. We have never for a second felt unsafe, threatened or nervous of being picked pocketed. Our Spanish speaking skills are pretty strong and the only thing we’ve seen is our Uber driver get pulled over and had to pay a policeman for a mi or infraction. We ride the subway in Mexico City and visit very Local markets.
That being said, we don’t wear expensive clothes or jewelry and typically stay in recommended tourist zones, especially at night. We won’t go out too late and stick to bars that we know are safe. There is risk traveling all over and we know a friend who was detained in Mexico for drinking in public. We always say to be aware of your surroundings and be respectful in all situations. Basically, don’t start no 💩 won’t be no 💩 😂.
Sayulita is INCREDIBLY safe, probably the safest of anywhere we’ve been. And if you have apprehension Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita are the best place to start!
@@HeresGoodTravel Love it! Thanks SO much for the sound advice and clutch info! Y'all are killing it.
That coconut cold brew looks GOOOOOOOD
When we first went there years ago the guy didn’t have coco water. We were the only customers so he said “I’ll be back”. He came back with 3 coconuts. Smashed one open to pour into our coffee. Truly a world gem!
Mexican hot sauce with pizza is always good
Yessss! We want to see if we can find that salsa online to get shipped
I enjoy your videos. Tip in case you are working on your Spanish pronunciations, the (H) in habanero, huevos, hacienda is silent. The (U) in guisados too.
Thank you thank you! This is our number one STRUGGLE! It’s so hard to break that habit. We try to speak only Spanish at our house on Wednesdays, we will be sure to work on this! Thanks a million for watching and commenting
I love to see you're videos guys. Thank you.
Thank you so much for watching! See you later is truly one of our favorite places to visit in Mexico! So many more food adventures to come
Omg you guys have great energy! Excelent reviews!
Thanks so much, we love hanging out, eating, drinking and sharing our adventures! Thanks for this rad comment!
Thanks for sharing ❤
Thanks for watching! It means the world to us!

I am from México City, nice video guys, enjoy!!
Thank you so much! Mexico City is our FAVORITE! Cant wait to go back. Thanks for watching and commenting, Salud!
Thank you for your video, beautiful trip! Question did you get sick? I keep hearing of people who stay in Sayulita get very sick for days? Did either of you experience sickness during your trip or after you left? Going in June
Not once. We spend a lot of time in Mexico but we travel all over the world eating really spicy street food and haven’t had any issues. The difference is though we travel for long periods of times and occasionally there will be a couple day “adjustment” period to get acclimated to each places food.😂
@@HeresGoodTravel Great to hear, that’s good! Thank you for the info your video makes me excited go visit!
I believe you are referring due to the sewage problem. I been doing research and that issue was fixed after March and they tested the water and it pass. Watching this recent video seems that everything is good now.
9:30 So funny that you think a club sandwich is not Mexican. Do the experiment of asking if they can prepare you one in every restaurant in Mexico.
Are they called Tortas?
🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️🏖
Thanks so much! This was one of our favorite videos to make, thanks a million for the positive vibes!
Better to walk everywhere instead of renting a golf cart so you work off some of the calories from all the great food!
😂PREACH! We did the golf cart thing on our first visit to Sayulita and it was so much fun. But staying closer this time was way easier not to worry about it and just walk. Plus we were pretty drunk the whole time😂
@@HeresGoodTraveldo you have a link to the Airbnb please
10:22 You need to learn how to use a fork, for gods sake.
I didn't know TH-cam had a dagone' fork police 🚓🚨 😂😂😂😂
🤣We are riding the struggle bus for sure. So true!
Stop these people, please??
Stop these people??? 😂😂😂
🤣It’s aggressive on here today
We will take note of your concern
sweaty hands, please , just stop
No one has a gun on your head, you can leave at anytime and make sure the door doesn't hit your cul0 on your way out....
We do have sweaty hands 🙌 but
Adds to the flavor 😋
