If I had a time machine this is one event I would be going back to. Mr. Stapleton is so very good on a stage with a mic and a guitar. How is it that something that simple can make a 68 year old man tear up every time I see a video of him? The answer is, he knows instinctively how to touch the emotions of a human, whoever the human may be. I don't think he even has to think about it. Genius combined with instinct and talent.

But when it's to Chris magnitude, and with the way he keeps his same down to earth personality, and always shows his Southeastern Ky pride, every chance he gets, we couldn't be more proud!! There is actually quiet a few of country stars, that originated from up and down the line, in our area. As our highway rt. 23, is called Country Music Highway 23.. With names like Lorretta Lynn, Patty Loveless, Dwight Yokham, Billy Ray Cyrus, the Late Great Keith Whitley, Ricky Scaggs, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Gary Stewart & Tom T. Hall!! Several more, including another young up and coming duo Sundy Best from my hometown, and ofcourse none other than Chris himself. So, we have a proud tradition of small town MTN Talent. Me and my 2 sons have seen Chris 4 times. Every show is as good as the next, as he never fails to bring it!!
I have been to 2 of his shows now and couldn't agree more. Can't wait for the next to come my way. Pure talent.
