The biggest travesty is how long he went under the mainstream radar as a singer with a voice like that. That voice cuts through like none other.

There's 14 people that can sing this good in your neighborhood that have been bullied and laughed at when they sing that has stopped them from being seen.
From what I've gathered, Chris's passion has always been writing. People paid BIG money to sit down with him and have him put into words what they were feeling to write songs... That's a talent that far exceeds that of singing... However, the singing came second and was an absolute hidden gem. He makes me feel things no one ever has because he sings with his emotions.

And the Beatles and Stones were not impressive to me, l got into Southern R&R and Progressive Country ! Chris Stapleton is my Hero ! Saw his concert this past weekend..waited almost 2 years thanks to covid..waited in a longer line than any line Ive ever waited to see anything..missed the opening acts..all I can say is that it was WORTH EVERY MINUTE! The most incredible show Ive ever seen! I was emotional the whole time just from how absolutely perfect he played and sounded.. this man is a legend in our own time and will most certainly go down as one of the all time greats!

+Randy Carrington I think most people aren't willing to seek out quality music and are used to being spoon fed the majority of the crap on radio (labels only care about what sells not who sells it) and basing their opinions off of that. It's nice when a talent like Chris "slips through the cracks".
I am so happy that Chris is finally starting to get the recognition and awards that he so obviously deserves. I discovered his talent along with the Steeldrivers when their first album came out. My husband and I have worn out 2 copies of that cd, and have been following Chris ever since. Such and awesome singer/songwriter. The harmony between his wife and him is wonderful to listen to.
