Hardbite is a premium brand based out of British Columbia (hence their whole outdoors motif). They're tasty but pretty pricey. They only really started showing up here in eastern Ontario in the past decade. They aren't super common everywhere in Canada and tend to be in more upscale grocery stores. Kettle Chips and Ms Vicky's are more common kettle-cooked chips in much of the country.
ah well here in Southern Ontario, they’re all over. even in like No Frills & Freshco etc, relatively cheap too

crisps are naturally gluten-free, but lots of the wacky flavorings are made with malt, and other wheat products, so a problem for people w/celiac disease. much easier if the package says or not b/c you never know what "natural and artificial flavors" in the ingredients list means
Also, Gluten Free should mean that the area where the chips are made should not have gluten in it, not just the chips themselves.

Death nut messed her up badly. She just didnt scream and cry, but you could see the agony in her face. Probably felt the worst for her in that one. Clisaire on the spicy foods popcorn, peanuts she was suffering. Devils toe of course was pain but thats its goal
@@glennkelley2307 Well even in the death nut she realized she should be suffering more than she was, she even asked "is there something wrong with me?" I'm not sure if she has an iron stomach, iron will, or both. But can't wait to see what finally breaks her. I would of loved to see her on the Paqui One Chip Challenge TRY did.
She needs to eat a real ghost pepper first then the Reaper if she can handle that

They're made in BC and I think they haven't spread that far out of BC yet (if at all)

I ate jalapeno's as a small child, but I can't drink whiskey like her.
I can probably go toe to toe eating spicy things, but I wouldn't last a few minutes drinking. She's just a terminator sent from the future.

I'm from the US (Colorado). I'll bite. Canada makes many wonderful things and we tend to like them. I'm not wild about ketchup, but I'll forgive Canada because they gave us Joe Sakic.

As a Canadian, the jalapeño chips are barely spicy. The ghost pepper ones are also not hot at all, they’re just nice and sweet.

These "Irish people" are all SOOO much fun!! Why are the Irish so much more entertaining than other countries people's trying things? I think they are just naturally more social with each other and used to having fun than other countries.

I'm Canadian and I love Hardbite chips! All the pictures on the bags are of places around Canada and they have little descriptions of where in Canada they are on the back.

lived in Canada my entire life and i've done my fair share of travelling around the country and i've never heard of hardbite. definitely going to try to find some now.

Ciara actually felt some heat from that ghost pepper. This is the woman that downed Everclear without batting an eyelash. Love her.
I love chips. Always have. If you want a treat get your favorite plain chips, put some on a piece of white bread, put some ketchup on it 'to taste', and put an additional piece of bread in top. That was my favorite Potato Chip Sandwich when I was a kid. I loved them so much I didn't even recognize that they meant we were poor.
The spicy chips put the "B" in subtlety for Ciara, and the "Eff me! Those are effing hot!" for everyone else in this video.
The people on this channel seriously make days 10x better when there's new videos.
I love seeing the true contrasts as some like something and another will go all thumbs down on it. Diversity in action.

I live in a small canadian village by the sea on the east coast, and you go in our local co-op, and really we can get all kinds of these flavors, so they are common place in Canada.
Just noticed Irish people don't pronounce the accent on jalapeño.
So many people don't pronounce it properly, not just the Irish. Drives me insane as I was a Spanish major. I cringe every time anybody says it incorrectly.
I grew up in Canada 🇨🇦 and never took Spanish in school (Canadian French only), but thankfully I learned the correct pronunciation of jalapeños from my Hispanic friends. I try to learn the correct pronunciation of other cultures’ foods the same way-from locals..!!

Ciara is not affected by anything - alcohol, capsaisan does not matter. She is completely unphased.

My head-cannon is that none of the "bad stuff" affects her much, but there is something completely innocuous to the rest of us, like Parsley or something, that just knocks her out.

TBH, I rarely go for the Hardbite chips when I go shopping, they are so bloody expensive. Whoever sent these to Try sent the good stuff.

It always baffles me when non-Canadians are surprised, or confused by ketchup chips considering the fact ketchup and French fries are synonymous together.

well, if you are suggesting that because they are both made out of potatoes, it makes sense.... but mashed potatoes, and baked potatoes don't usually get paired up with ketchup.
also not all chips are potato, some are made from corn, and really haven't seen corn and ketchup together i think ever.
french fries and milkshake are actually a lot more popular then you might think.. and i'm not sure how a milkshake flavored potato chip (or crisp) would be... i would try it tho. :)

I'm Canadian and I've never heard of this brand. I feel like I'm missing out.
They're a really good and crunchy brand. Done up in avacado oil. I've only ever seen them at BulkBarn but I'm sure they're out at other stores as well.

Their beet chips are good as well as the parsnip ones.
They have them in Costco’s and some Safeway’s in SK! The BBQ sweet potato ones are the best!
