My 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0L ES Manufactured in Japan, a lot of parts dealer said that those coilovers wouldn’t fit mine because the car is made in Japan, and it would only fit USA made Lancers

Does adjusting the ride height change the spring preload tension?
Yes it does with the basis, I have them on my Evo 8.

I just did a tein street basis z strut install, the manual does not show the oem dust cap reused, is it required for reuse? The struts are firm and lowered my lancer. They are cheaper than oem struts.
That’s a part we messed up on, I actually ended up needing to take them off. So make sure you Do not put them on

Did you get any squeaks about a month after installing the coilovers? My rear squeaks driving, getting in and out of the car and pushing it. Any thoughts?

Was the drop 30 mm at the front and 40mm at the rear?
I believe so yes, it’s been a bit since we installed them and I changed the height since but ya I think that’s what it was
Does it bounce when you drive?
They’re tien so it shouldn’t if you make it very stiff
it does a little when u got it fully soft on the rear, in the front it doesnt
