- Rory Gallagher documentary "Aspects of Rock" The program includes footage from a concert at the Savoy, Limerick 1972 and at the National Stadium, Dublin December 1978, plus a behind the scenes look at preparation for the Dublin concert. Taken from maxell Pro Grade VHS, recorded at SP, Mono audio, tape archive number 882. Broadcast on August 9th 1979. The date stated on screen is from when the production was complete.

You little beauty. Thanks Steevee. Rory looks like a teenager at that first show. Man, he could play!! That was Rod De'Ath's first show (Tore Down). Wilgar couldn't play so they flew Rod in. Never played with the band before. Did good. Even at the sound checks Rory was awesome. Born to Rock. Thanks Steevee, made this Sunday even sunnier. 👍🍻

Ace preservation STV! Rory is like all great musicians. They are not only experts at their craft but they express powerfully and freely without trying to use their talent for gain. He reminds me of some of my favorite jazz musicians.
