I left one of these churches a few years ago. The official vision was "total redemption and restoration of all things" which sounds like a good thing except it resulted in SO MUCH work! We were constantly told to go into politics, education, creative industries, sport, etc to "take over" the entire sector for God. On top of that was all the in-house events, projects, and initiatives we all had to be a part of, I've never been to so many unnecessary meetings in my life. You're always saying yes to everything that's asked of you so as to not be the one that gets in the way of God's plans for the church. I ended up in hospital after collapsing from the sheer amount of stress and pressure I was under when it caused a stomach ulcer. Most of the congregation has now left simply from burn out. The crazy thing is what we never did was simply go to our local community and help the single mother with her kids, or the Dad looking for employment, or cleaning the house of the elderly neighbour. Grass roots deeds that would actually look more like Jesus.
I have a close friend who was seduced by NAR teachings, they look down on Christians who do not have the same "spiritual experiences" as they, but I look at her life and see so much self indulgence and compromise whilst claiming to be filled with the spirit of God, or so they say....I tried to warn her about it but she resisted. Now she's into something worse, following the false teachings of Francois Dutoit, who wrote the perverted Mirror "Bible" (New Age + Christianity). My friend's involvement with NAR has opened her up to a greater spiritual delusion and I am greatly dismayed but continue in my prayers for her to be restored back to Christ and the simple truth of God's Word. May this serve as a warning to all to keep watch over their life and doctrine.
You conveyed the behavior perfectly. Sounds exactly like management in the department I worked in at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. It was so bad I had to resign. I still pray their eyes will be opened to truth.
God is the same yesterday, today and forever!! There is no new revelation, the word of God is our only truth. Jesus Christ is never going to change and come up with new ideas.
Yes correct. However in Matthew 4:17 he says " Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has ARRIVED" Then he proceeds to teach us how to pray in Luke 11:1-4 "Our father who art in heaven Thy KINGDOM COME Thy WILL BE DONE On EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN" The kingdom of God is not of this world but Jesus restored it back to us as it was originally in the book of Genesis
Exactly Tina, God's word is complete. No new Apostles today. Colossians 1:25 KJV "Whereof I (Paul) am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil (complete) the word of God;"

I have been to these conferences and sat under the teaching of these leaders and certain things felt off and i was constantly disappointed by how little scripture was preached on. A verse or two would be read and then theyd go off talking about all kinds of other things that didnt always have anything to do with the scriptures. New revelation makes it seem like mormonism and over the years ive stepped out of that and am honestly being drawn back to the not just a simple faith in Christ but also the traditions of the earliest christians. ❤
There is nothing added or taken away from Scripture, but there is certainly the still small voice of the Holy Spirit, and the gift of prophecy designed to edify, exhort, and comfort.
@redeemed-reformedJesus Himself said John the Baptist was the greatest of all the OT prophets, yet specified that He is then least in the new kingdom. Paul also writes to established churches and says that he desires that ALL would prophesy. He was not writing to apostles, but general church.
It’s so sad to see these types of things happening to Christians.. people always trying to twist things . Let’s just read the Bible and follow Jesus .. we don’t need to keep making up garbage. God is enough !
Me too... i got caught up in it. What is concerning is that it really sucks in new believers and people who are bible illiterate. Many Christians, unfortunately, are very bible illiterate.
@@JonathanGrandtit’s such a tangled mess. We the church need to read the scriptures and not put trust in man but in Christ alone. It’s becoming impossible to discern what’s going on
This is why you need a individual voice with the holy spirit so we don't let man validate us including the man speaking. But God. Discerment is key!. God bless.

Hey, thank you for this Video! As a Part of an “apostolic” chirch that has its root from Bethel i can say this Video is really helpful. I dont agree with every teaching that comes from that movement and i think thats sometimes oka. Although i would love to say that teachers like Bill Johnson are not fully into that teaching and they have some restrictions when it comes to prophecy and “gods blueprints”. It has to always be according to scripture! I personally disagree with this teaching and i believe some scriptures are out of context but i also want to represent them well as they are still our brothers and sisters. Lets pray for them as we grow as a body of christ moving from glory to glory. ❤️🙏🏼
Thank you for this concise and informative answer! I so appreciate your resources and site! It has helped me greatly in building my supplemental (to the Bible) toolkit. 😊
I didn't know that you have a TH-cam channel!!! I love to use your site for references when I prepare work for my parachurch that meets on Zoom. God bless your work and your ministry!
@ it’s an organization that works alongside churches to preach and share the Word. I’d actually class our organization as a church now because we have regular members, 2 Bible Studies per week, careful Biblical shepherding and daily meetings where members gather as saints to hear the Word.
You know what’s sad??? Jesus said woe to you when all men say good about you… but I can find no one in the church who even fits this description… How wonderful it is to see brothers dwell in Unity… Cause it’s rare???
These same NAR “apostles” that supposedly have “special knowledge from God”, “commissioned” and promoted Todd Bentley as an “anointed messenger and healer” from God.
First, I want to say I agree with several statements here. I do not identify with "NAR", I do not identify with the "seven mountains" concept, which I think is a Francis Schaeffer thing if you chase it to its root. But I do believe to believe the Bible you have to do what's in it, not just look at it & worship it. Am I wrong to conclude that this is looking at this movement, NAR, through a cessationist lens? It seems like there's a whole heck of a lot being thrown out against this movement without Biblical backing, For example when I see the word apostle in the bible, to my understanding it simply means one who is sent or an ambassador of the Gospel. I do not see one passage that tells us that apostles have ceased. It's a real stretch to say that because 1 Cor 15:7,8 says "all" that it means none would otherwise exist, isn't this a reference to the eyewitnesses rather than the gift itself? We have examples of the strict definition of the word, for example Timothy is given apostle like authority by Paul, so that would refute the notion of no more "being sent" as nonsense. Timothy and Titus both carried apostle like authority in the sense they were sent and they had high authority. True there are only a few that were eyewitnesses, fine, make that distinction. And I wouldn't argue with the point that they were a unique set of disciples commissioned to do works of revelation, which isn't even necessary to point out because the Scripture itself seals itself in that regard. We now have illuminations vs revelations is the way I would put it. But I think it is a great error to drown the use of the word apostle with the death of the twelve & Paul. In my opinion this is a way over-simplification to back a doctrine, I think (reformed), or at least influenced by it, ironically to the point of this video. So much of this seems like church politics & semantics & denominational wars rather than pursuit of truth itself, to say God doesn't send anyone anymore? This almost lines up with Nietzsche, "God is dead" . . . "and we have killed him". What are we to do with Romans 10:15? And Eph 4:12? Alright, enough said, I grew up in a culture of cessationism and this was the beginning of me waking up, (second to being born again) this quote from A.W. Tozer from Keys to a Deeper Life, "certain evangelical teachers have told us that the gifts of the Spirit ceased at the death of the apostles or at the completion of the New Testament. This, of course, is a doctrine without a syllable of Biblical authority back of it. The result of this erroneous teaching is that spiritually gifted persons are ominously few among us. This frightening hour calls aloud for men with the gift of prophetic insight. Instead we have men who conduct surveys, polls and panel discussions. We need men with the gift of knowledge. In their place we have men with scholarship-nothing more. Thus, we may be preparing ourselves for the tragic hour when God may set us aside as so-called evangelicals and raise up another movement to keep New Testament Christianity alive in the earth."
@@DK-tq3fy How do you mean? I assume you're referring to Acts 1:22-25. If so, I don’t think that’s quite correct, and I’d like to offer a few clarifications. The Greek word ἀπόστολος simply means "one who is sent forth." The real question lies in who is doing the sending, by what authority, and the extent of that authority. But these nuances aren’t intrinsic to the word "apostle" itself. According to Scripture, even Jesus is referred to as an apostle of God, yet his position and calling are unique and set apart from that of the disciples. Likewise, if we are in fellowship and discipleship with Christ, we too could be considered apostles of Christ, following his instructions. The argument for limiting apostleship to the original twelve (thirteen if including Paul) faces some challenges. For example, Titus is referred to as an apostle in 2 Corinthians 8:23, yet he neither met Jesus during his earthly ministry nor witnessed his resurrection. This passage, along with others, seems to suggest that apostleship was not restricted to eyewitnesses, provided we don’t impose doctrinal bias on the text. Growing up in a staunchly Reformed environment with some dispensationalist influence, I often heard teachings that spiritual gifts ceased with the “Apostles.” But the term “apostle” simply means "sent messenger" or "one sent forth." Over-interpreting the term to mean something exclusive can lead to poor exegesis. While I agree that “apostle” is frequently used to describe eyewitnesses to Christ’s ministry and resurrection, it’s not exclusive to them. The unique, eyewitness apostolic calling of the disciples is clear, but it would be more accurate to specify "eyewitnesses" rather than broadly applying "apostle" in a restrictive sense. If I had to guess, I’d assume you are Reformed? It’s a common concern among Calvinists and/or dispensationalists. Even if that’s not the case with you, this viewpoint often bolsters arguments that supernatural gifts ceased with the apostles. I agree with this to an extent when it pertains to Scripture as divine revelation. After much personal deliberation-and, admittedly, after suppressing God’s activity in my life due to these teachings-I think Tozer captured it well, effectively countering some restrictive Reformed viewpoints. His work has been freeing for me, almost an “out of Egypt” experience. Rich Nathan’s Empowered Evangelical is another insightful read, shedding light on how certain Reformed doctrines can inadvertently stifle God’s work among us. I believe Scripture is divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit. Although I'm part of a “dying breed” that holds to its inerrancy, I also believe the Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, still works through us today. The Spirit within us continues to send forth servants for His purpose.
2 Timothy Chapter 4 3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. They are probably fulfilling what Paul the apostle told us in 2 Timothy 4:3-4. Not to mention I am a believer in divine revelations from the Spirit of God Himself after one becomes born again of Him and after they get washed in Christ's atoning shed blood. But just revelations that open the Scriptures up to them after they go from lost to found. After all, remembering what is written how the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God for they are foolishness unto him. And he won't understand the Scriptures not until God makes him born again by beginning that good work that Paul speaks of in Philippians 1:6, I remember learning about them from the book written by John Bunyan called The Pilgrim's Progress where and a guy that travelled with him told the man named Ignorance about revelations.
Thank you for this message. Lots of good information, however I differ with your interpretation of 1 cor. 15:7-8. Is states that Jesus appeared to the apostles, period. It does not say that in order for you to be an apostle, you had to have seen Jesus with your own eyes. It just states that He appeared to them. The Bible also says that He appeared to Mary. That appearing does not make or not make Mary an apostle... Doesn't apostle just mean "one sent with a message (from God)?"
Yes! That’s why we don’t listen to any 1 man. We are the body of Christ. We all need each other and chances are each Christian is wrong about something and needs guidance from another of the “body” who is well learned on a certain subject
I agree with the early Apostolic Christianity, i consider myself a non-denominational Apostolic Christian, in the sense that; i believe it is the purest form of Christianity handed down to us by the original Apostles themselves, but i don't believe in modern day "Apostles", Apostles were people who were eyewitnesses to the life and teachings of Jesus Christ like the 12 disciples, so i don't believe "apostles" exist anymore.
I agreed with everything you said other than the last thing: "And those that follow it" I may reject my brethrens beliefs and teachings at times when they are rooted in genuine error. But, I will not reject my brethren. If they believe that Jesus is Lord, believe in the Trinity and believe that Salvation is of faith in Christ alone, we are the same at the core. It is good to know where you stand on scripture and attempt to correct others, but reject them for misunderstanding? No. That said, clearly what I said is fifferent for Jahovas Witness, Muslims and Mormons because they all have very different views than Jesus being Lord.
In the NAR they speak out of both sides of their mouth. They say Christian things, but they do non-Christian things. They say Jesus is Lord, but in actuality, Jesus is their genie and serves the person rather than the person serving the Lord. we are instructed in scripture to mark and avoid false teachers. These would be people who claim to be Christian, but teaching a different gospel. Bill Johnson and those like him have a different Jesus, a different gospel, a different focus, putting the emphasis on power to the believer rather than power in the hand of a sovereign God. they are constantly adding to scripture with their “so said” revelations, they misinterpret the scriptures that we already have, and the cherry pick certain parts of the Bible while completely ignoring other parts. They are not our brethren. They have invented a whole new religion and are leading biblically, illiterate people, astray. They focus on signs and wonders and experiences. They do not talk about sin, man’s depravity, the need for a savior Jesus the work of the cross , or men’s need to be made right with God. There is no accountability for these leaders. The movement is rife with immorality, sexual scandal, Financial impropriety, schemes, and multiple ways to extract money from the believers all while pressuring them to donate their time and money for the kingdom. But the money is going in someone’s pocket. It’s not going for missions or to help the community. It’s a pyramid scheme. People need to wake up.
Dominion over business, politics, and culture constitutes man exercising dominion over other men. God gave us dominion over birds, beasts, and fish. Communist control over man is not the dominion God gave us, which dominion we still have.
The weirdest loophole that we seem to be overlooking is jorl 2:28. I hope we dont become a people that overlooks a scripture to maintain a spiritual status quo. This type of behavior produces cancer where theres supposed to be redemption, it hurts
The people behind trump and their pro russian tendencies are one of the reason I began to learn about this one, thank you for your respond, Got Questions.
The Apostle Paul was an Apostle ,but he was not one of the 12 Those are commonly referred to as Apostles of the Lamb. He was not qualified to be one of the 12 BUT HE WAS NO LESS APOSTLE THAN PETER. THERE WERE MORE APOSTLES THAN THE 12 APOSTLES OF THE LAMB.
Barnabas is also named an apostle in Acts 14:14. Im also not so set on saying the title apostle cannot be used as one similar to teacher, as long as we distinguish between Jesus’s apostles vs other apostles and the massive authority difference between the two
A "New" face in the NAR (at least new to me) is Steve Cioccolanti whose calm demeanor and honest face make him especially persuasive to the Biblically ignorant.
But isn’t this the way “lead pastors” in every church operate? They are put on a pedestal- we come every Sunday to hear from this one man who has all the “wisdom” Which actually isn’t how the early church operated either. All this stuff is weird. I believe in the gifts of the spirit I agree with the above comment. All you need is Christ and The Word.
I’ve listened to Bill Johnson before many different times and never heard him nor any pastor in the Charismatic movement ever teach anything close to what this man is saying, this whole NAR seems to be a made up term. Real issues I would say are health and wealth, word of faith as well as Christian nationalism (which encompasses all denominations), but NAR seems to be a made up term by some critics of the charismatic movement.
I agree as well. This man treads on dangerous ground. Saul was definitely a guilty sinning man but David still spared his life twice, refusing to harm ‘the Lord’s anointed’ It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of a living God, and we will have to give an account for every word. 😬
No! I'm sorry, but this is unfortunately a very real "movement"! As a new believer, I had never heard about any of this! After three years in one of these churches I can tell you with absolute certainty that this is a thing! I was not looking for any specific information because I didn't know any of that! After following certain people who were strongly suggested to me, and often referenced during services, video would occasionally pop up in my feed. The first one I ever saw was something along the lines of common phrases you will hear from New Apostolic Reformation churches. Along with the face that they never claim to be that. After watching that one video others began popping up in my feed. Absolutely, 100% these churches/ ministries do exist! Even worse, and far scarier is how common this is becoming! How many different churches this nonsensical madness is creeping its way into! It's all a lie from the pits of hell, I believe!
@@cecilianbarrett6417 I’m sure you’re being fed by people who believe this, however, I would be very careful about accepting information based on soundbites, this can be very misleading regarding what people actually believe and what they stand for. Dr Michael Brown refutes so much of the so-called NAR conspiracy.
Do they believe what the first century Church believed? Because we seem to throw around this word heresy so easily. Are they teaching something new or different? If it's new then perhaps it can be heresy but if the early church believed it, then it has a legitimate basis. I don't believe in modern day prophets or Apostolic succession but the early church did. I may be wrong certainly that is a possibility.
I'm coming from the webpage... I need to correct here: Pastors like Bill Johnson don't believe in a coming of supernatural mass healing that their leaders somehow possess. They refer to Mark 16:17f and John 14:12 and are assured by their experience that miracles are a common, and a to be expected part of a believers life. And they're right about it.
Pay close attention, all of his issues with the NAR are in regard to power and control. That ought to tell you something. Sounds like a pretty standard PlankEye infection. I would love for GotQuestions to do a proper exposé on those pesky Calvinists. It’s ironic that he mentions that NAR wants a theocracy. Really ironic.
Yes, that's because that is what distinguishes their movement from traditional Christianity. It's part of their ideology. Power and control. Which they claim is "God's will". It's dangerous. So I have no idea what you're talking about when you say "That's REALLY ironic." A statement of fact is not ironic. If he were talking about the moon you'd have said, "Notice how all he talks about is gravitational forces and the tides. That's really ironic." No. It's not. It's a statement of it's properties. Ther was nothing that was biased here. And I'm saying that AS a non-Christian.
I just asked the same question. Hoping he's not associated with the ARC (Association of Related Churches) movement, which is fraught with it's own aberrant teachings!
Ah, its Seven Mountains Dominionism with a twist. Instead of the bible being the word to follow, adherents put all their faith in the "prophets" that head up the group. SCARY!!!

The ascended Lord gave the revelation of the rapture and resurrection of the body of christ to the apostle Paul. Jesus earthly ministry was to the jews. The Lord revealed the mystery (a secret) to Paul only.
The devil and dragon remain on Earth -- and they know their judgment is SOON -- Revelation 12: 12-13. This can't be real. This goes against the very roots of the Christian faith and the Church. Just because you are not suffering persecution now doesn't mean you are home free to do whatever you want. We are followers of Jesus Christ not authors of salvation.
The heck, all those verses he's saying about "not being an apostle in our day & time" is never obvious in any of them, all of them are talking about what happened at that time, not a decree saying "this is where it ends". Lol, show me where the a clear place is that says there can't be modern day apostles.
Yah, You are a great Father.Thank You for your Son, Yeshua Ha Massiach (Jesus The Messiah) Jesus is our Living Passover. Acts Chapter 4 verse 12: " There is no salvation through anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven given to the human race by which we are to be saved." Isaiah 9 vs. 6, " For unto us a Child is born. Unto us a Son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. " Who is Christ? Who is Jesus? Born of a virgin, Mary. Matthew Chapter 1 verse 20: " Behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to him (Joseph), in a dream and said, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, for that (Christ)which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit." Jesus, the Christ, is God's word made flesh. Jesus is Jehovah God's (The Creator's) Word made into flesh. 1 John chapter 5 verse 7: " For there are three that bear a record in heaven, The Father, The Word, and the Holy Spirit: and these three are One." John chapter 1 verse 1: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John chapter 1 verse 14: " And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." John chapter 1 verse 10: " He was in the world, and the world knew Him not." Hebrews chapter 4 verse 12: " For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." How beautiful and awesome is God's Word, who is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, magnificent in all His glory, is He. Amen! John's Vision Of Christ Seated On His Throne In Heaven: Revelation chapter 4 verse 2 to 3: " Immediately, I (John), was in the Spirit, and behold a throne sat in Heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance, and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald." Why did Christ Jesus came and sacrificed His precious life for sinners like us? Christ (God's Word made into flesh), came because through flesh (Adam's flesh) sin entered the world, and then because of sin death entered the whole earth. Through flesh(Jesus Christ's flesh), the earth will be saved, sin is destroyed, and the curse of death shall be broken, death and the grave shall be cast into hell. Christ, who is God's Word made into flesh, sacrificed His life for us. He was crucified for our sins and transgressions. Christ died, and on the third day He resurrected in the flesh, conquering death and the grave. Now, Christ is seated in Heaven, at the right hand of Power(God the Father). Through Christ's sacrifice we gain Salvation through God's abundant mercy and grace. We are reconciled and recompensed back to God, through the shed blood of His beloved Son Christ Jesus. John chapter 3 verse 16: " For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life." Romans chapter 5 verse 8: " But God demonstrates His love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Christ came to undo the sin and eternal death brought upon the world through the sin of Adam. Death in Adam, Life In Christ: Romans chapter 5 verse 19: " For as by one man's disobedience(Adam), many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience(Jesus) , many will be made righteous." Romans chapter 5 verse 18: " Therefore, as through one man's (Adam's) offense, judgement came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even through one Man's (Christ's) righteous act, the free gift came to all men, resulting in the justification of life." Romans chapter 5 verse 17: " For if by the one man's offense(Adam's offense), death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in the life through the One(Jesus Christ). Romans chapter 5 verse 12: " Therefore, just as through one man (Adam), sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned." Romans chapter 5 verse 21: " "So that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Do you now see that through Adam, sin and death entered the world, so that is why Christ Jesus came to give life, and give it more abundantly? Yes, Christ came to give eternal life through Salvation. Adam's flesh brought sin, death, destruction, and condemnation. 1 Corinthians 15 : 21-22, "For since by man (Adam) came death, by Man (Jesus) also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ, all shall be made alive." Christ's sacrifice, the crucifixtion of His flesh, brings reconciliation of sins, life, resurrection, eternal life, salvation Christ is coming back again, not as a sacrificial lamb. He is coming back as a roaring, waring lion, to destroy sin, death, and the grave once and for all. Amen! Amen! Hallelujah! Revelation chapter 22 verse 12 to 13: " And behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. " Now do you see friends, Why Christ Jesus is so Important for our Salvation? Yes. Now, do you understand why there is only one way to God, and that is only through Christ Jesus? Yes. Christ is Salvation. Christ is our Lord and Saviour. Christ is the only way to God. Christ is the only Mediator between God and men(us humans). God loves us so much, He does not want anyone to perish in hell. God wants all sinners to be saved. That is why He sent His Word to save the world. God's Word became flesh, and dwelt among us to save us. Will you accept Christ and be saved? Romans chapter 6 verse 23: " For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." John Chapter 3 verse 16: " For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that who ever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." Salvation is free! Christ already paid the price, all you have to do is receive salvation through acceptance of Jesus Christ, Yeshua Ha Massiach, repent of your sins, and keep His commands. So who is Christ? He is The Word Of God. He is the Son of God. He is God. He is the image of the invisible God. He is the Alpha and Omega. He is the beginning and the end. He is the Great I Am. He is Emmanuel. He is The Christ. He is The Messiah. He is The Creator. He is our Lord and Saviour. He is our Mediator. He is the Lion and the Lamb. He is Salvation. He is the Way, the Truth, and Life. He is The Rock. Amen! I love you Lord! God created the heavens and the earth with His spoken Word. Did you know, that Jesus is that Word, through which all things were created? Yes. John chapter 14 verse 6: " Jesus said to him," I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Colassians chapter 1 verse 15 to 16: He is the Image of the Invisible God, the Firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven, and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him." John chapter 1 verse 1 to 4: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men." I hope that you know Christ, and understand Christ better now, to the glory of God. Amen! Christ is for all who will receive Him. This is how our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ said we should pray. Matthew chapter 6 verse 9 to 13: "Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen." Now that you understand who Christ is, share Christ with others. Amen! Repent of your sins. Sin no more! Be baptized in Jesus Name. Submit to Jehovah-God. Love God with all your heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit. Keep God's Commandments. Love one another. Forgive one another. It is written, "resist the devil, submit to God, and the devil will flee from you." Hate sin with all your heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit. Hebrews 9:2, "For if we sin willfully, after we received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins." Only Jesus The Christ, can baptize you with God's Holy Spirit. Only Christ can give you The Holy Spirit, and the Gifts of The Spirit. Acts 11 vs. 15 to 16, " And as I began to speak, The Holy Spirit fell upon them, as upon us at the beginning. Very sad. The first five minutes was at best wrong at worst just lies. I recommend watching Remnant Radio. They’ve questioned NAR and interviewed those you’ve accused.
Paul went to Heaven and saw Jesus face-to-face. He couldn't tell if he was out of his body or in his body. But he writes about his revelations. See 2 Cor 12.
I guess GOTQUESTIONS is a Cessationist. I should have known. Carefully handpicking scriptures to butter a point of view (without considering the entire counsel of the Word of God) is deceptive at worse and unwholesome at best. Shalom
Ah yes. Cherry picking the bible is done all over Christianity. We should be disciplines of Christ keeping everything in the context of the whole rather than members of a church just believing what we are told. To wit, does the Bible actually teach cessationism? Where are we getting this from?
This video is a horrible video. You just nitpicked a bunch of problems in doctrine associated with this group of people that you say don't self-identity as such with zero evidence of these claims being associated with anyone... Let alone a unified group of people.
The evidence is there. I was part of this stream of faith 20 years ago and God led me out! It's real, it's growing and it's subtle (just like the serpent). Cults usually start by overemphasizing some scriptural idea out of proportion to its importance in scripture. This is not nitpicking. The major points he paints are twisted ideas not taught by Jesus. Many people have been hurt by the power play and controlling atmosphere of these folks and led into new age and occult "signs" that are not from the Holy Spirit. The Bible predicted that apostasy would start from within the church in the end times. And would emphasize "signs and wonders." Wake up!
WOW, thank you for sharing and I am glad you left that false cult.
We don’t need anything new we have our Savior, Jesus Christ, and we have the Word of God!! These people are lost!!
Sounds exactly like
management in the department I worked in at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. It was so bad I had to resign. I still pray their eyes will be opened to truth.

JESUS SAID
"MY KINGDOM IS NOT OF THIS WORLD".
Something difficult to accept for many, adding with the fact that social reformation is also important - be the salt and light...
Yes correct. However in Matthew 4:17 he says " Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has ARRIVED"
Then he proceeds to teach us how to pray in Luke 11:1-4
"Our father who art in heaven
Thy KINGDOM COME
Thy WILL BE DONE
On EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN"
The kingdom of God is not of this world but Jesus restored it back to us as it was originally in the book of Genesis
Thank you, this is part of a great falling away from the scriptures. sadly so many are involved in this.

I recall Dr. R. C. Sproul teaching that there was no new revelation. We've been given everything we need to know in His Word.
There is nothing added or taken away from
Scripture, but there is certainly the still small voice of the Holy Spirit, and the gift of prophecy designed to edify, exhort, and comfort.
@redeemed-reformedJesus Himself said John the Baptist was the greatest of all the OT prophets, yet specified that He is then least in the new kingdom.
Paul also writes to established churches and says that he desires that ALL would prophesy. He was not writing to apostles, but general church.

@ it’s an organization that works alongside churches to preach and share the Word.
I’d actually class our organization as a church now because we have regular members, 2 Bible Studies per week, careful Biblical shepherding and daily meetings where members gather as saints to hear the Word.
So good. Sadly well meaning Christians don’t speak up about this heresy

Great video. Thank you.
These same NAR “apostles” that supposedly have “special knowledge from God”, “commissioned” and promoted Todd Bentley as an “anointed messenger and healer” from God.
Prophets or profits...
Your definition of apostle is incorrect. See when they replaced Judas. Have a great week.
We still have the gift ministries.
Evidence please

2 Timothy Chapter 4
3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Agreed.
I agreed with everything you said other than the last thing: "And those that follow it"
I may reject my brethrens beliefs and teachings at times when they are rooted in genuine error.
There are some organizations that even charge fees for their “future leaders” to take classes on Apostleship and Deliverance.
All about the fame, fortune, and false glory that's temporal.

The Apostle Paul was an Apostle ,but he was not one of the 12
Those are commonly referred to as Apostles of the Lamb.
He was not qualified to be one of the 12 BUT HE WAS NO LESS APOSTLE THAN PETER.
THERE WERE MORE APOSTLES THAN THE 12 APOSTLES OF THE LAMB.
There were at least 13 apostles. Paul has to be added to the twelve. Whether there were more or not we don't know.
This is dangerous and can lead way to spiritual abuse. Wow
But isn’t this the way “lead pastors” in every church operate? They are put on a pedestal- we come every Sunday to hear from this one man who has all the “wisdom” Which actually isn’t how the early church operated either. All this stuff is weird. It appeals to the ego and lust for popularity.
I’ve listened to Bill Johnson before many different times and never heard him nor any pastor in the Charismatic movement ever teach anything close to what this man is saying, this whole NAR seems to be a made up term. So this isnt like the new testament being introduced or revelations being added to the new testamant and other books removed?

Yes, that's because that is what distinguishes their movement from traditional Christianity. It's part of their ideology. Power and control. Which they claim is "God's will". It's dangerous. So I have no idea what you're talking about when you say "That's REALLY ironic."
A statement of fact is not ironic. If he were talking about the moon you'd have said, "Notice how all he talks about is gravitational forces and the tides. That's really ironic."

Why did Christ Jesus came and sacrificed His precious life for sinners like us?
John chapter 3 verse 16: " For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life."
Romans chapter 5 verse 8: " But God demonstrates His love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Christ came to undo the sin and eternal death brought upon the world through the sin of Adam.
Death in Adam, Life In Christ:
Romans chapter 5 verse 19: " For as by one man's disobedience(Adam), many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience(Jesus) , many will be made righteous."
Romans chapter 5 verse 18: " Therefore, as through one man's (Adam's) offense, judgement came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even through one Man's (Christ's) righteous act, the free gift came to all men, resulting in the justification of life."
Romans chapter 5 verse 17: " For if by the one man's offense(Adam's offense), death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in the life through the One(Jesus Christ).
Romans chapter 5 verse 12: " Therefore, just as through one man (Adam), sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned."
Romans chapter 5 verse 21: " "So that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Do you now see that through Adam, sin and death entered the world, so that is why Christ Jesus came to give life, and give it more abundantly? Yes, Christ came to give eternal life through Salvation.
Adam's flesh brought sin, death, destruction, and condemnation.
1 Corinthians 15 : 21-22, "For since by man (Adam) came death, by Man (Jesus) also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ, all shall be made alive."
Christ's sacrifice, the crucifixtion of His flesh, brings reconciliation of sins, life, resurrection, eternal life, salvation
Christ is coming back again, not as a sacrificial lamb.
Now do you see friends, Why Christ Jesus is so Important for our Salvation?
Romans chapter 6 verse 23: " For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
John Chapter 3 verse 16: " For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that who ever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life."
Salvation is free!
No one comes to the Father except through me."
Colassians chapter 1 verse 15 to 16:
He is the Image of the Invisible God, the Firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven, and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him."
John chapter 1 verse 1 to 4:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men."
I hope that you know Christ, and understand Christ better now, to the glory of God. Amen!
Christ is for all who will receive Him.
This is how our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ said we should pray. Matthew chapter 6 verse 9 to 13:
"Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen."
Now that you understand who Christ is, share Christ with others. Amen!
Repent of your sins. Sin no more! Be baptized in Jesus Name.
Submit to Jehovah-God.
Love God with all your heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit. Keep God's Commandments. Love one another.
Forgive one another. It is written, "resist the devil, submit to God, and the devil will flee from you."
Hate sin with all your heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit.
Hebrews 9:2, "For if we sin willfully, after we received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins."
Only Jesus The Christ, can baptize you with God's Holy Spirit. Only Christ can give you The Holy Spirit, and the Gifts of The Spirit.
Acts 11 vs. 15 to 16, " And as I began to speak, The Holy Spirit fell upon them, as upon us at the beginning. Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, "John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit."
Read Exodus Chapter 20, The 10 Commandments of God.
Share the Gospel of Christ with others.
Very sad. The first five minutes was at best wrong at worst just lies.
I recommend watching Remnant Radio. They’ve questioned NAR and interviewed those you’ve accused.
Actually PAUL became an apostle and He never witnessed the crucifix of Jesus Christ. Apostles are Missionaries. Sent ones.
Nope 👎🏽 wrong
There are missionaries, “small a” apostles and APOSTLES, those who saw the RISEN Christ, of which Paul was one.
If you read 1 Corinthians 15, he saw the risen Christ physically, just like James, Peter, the 12, and more than 500 believers.
Paul went to Heaven and saw Jesus face-to-face. He couldn't tell if he was out of his body or in his body. But he writes about his revelations. See 2 Cor 12.
Paul at Damascus
a cult
You had so much critique but very little scripture given so therefore I have to Move on to another Source who bases everything they say on scripture.
Ahh, the irony 🥰🤪🤪🤪
sounds mormon 😬
I guess GOTQUESTIONS is a Cessationist. I should have known. Carefully handpicking scriptures to butter a point of view (without considering the entire counsel of the Word of God) is deceptive at worse and unwholesome at best. Shalom
Ah yes. Cherry picking the bible is done all over Christianity. We should be disciplines of Christ keeping everything in the context of the whole rather than members of a church just believing what we are told. To wit, does the Bible actually teach cessationism? Where are we getting this from?
This is a gross misrepresentation
Yahweh a supreme monster in the Bible, one no one but a psychopath could worship. Impossible to reconcile Yahweh with morality.
Go get a job.
This video is full of false teaching
don't fall for the fluff
