    Bahhh this is NG+ :P
    Just wanted to check if you could beat him first run without using so many ethers as I did ^^;

    if u guys wana do this in ng+ hard mode chaos aeronite
    i recommend
    having fang in the team
    and 2 of ur schematas having elementaga ( u get after defeating the last boss bhune something )
    make sure 2 of ur schematas have chaos revenge max upgraded getting to the last stagger with elementaga nukes and chaos revenge is the easy part the hard part comes after that
    ur last schemata should have a base dmg about 8k
    artemis arrow with cammitel
    and a shit ton of turboethers
    aeronite has over 50 million hp in chaos + hard mode
    and imperil is important!!!!!!!!!!

    On hard you can beat him with one-two elixers, I did it without chaos revenge also (but that was an accident lol). I'm going to try him chaos infused next time around.

      Yup it's not that hard when you know what you're doing... This is my run on Hard Mode: Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII - Aeronite (Desert Dragon)[Hard Mode]
      Just recently uploaded it, no Elixirs used, just Turbo Ethers, they're cheaper and easier to find...

      PuertoRicanNinja Nice, I didn't get any stars either. First time fighting him since I missed him on my first Normal playthrough. I had one Ether and one Turbo Ether, I couldn't find anymore. I used Cyber Jumpsuit with Pretahood with level two tier spells, and witches rosary+ on Equillibrium (not the best idea I've had but it's good if you time your switches to Cyber J-suit accordingly) And solider of peace with areora for heavy damage post 4th stagger.

      Civilx It's pretty easy to find Turbo Ethers and Elixirs if you're online. I just went around talking to the blue name people and almost 99% of them had a Turbo Ether or Elixir. I'm on 3rd Playthrough tho so that might be why but I had like 5-6 Turbos and 3-4 Elixirs...
      The Cyber Jumpsuit isn't really needed, I like the Sacred Knight and Paladin better for defense.

      @Civil206 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I don't like the Cyber Jumpsuit as much I'm probably just going to use garbs with free slots the next time around.

    i beat Eresh and when the fight was over i was taken to the ark, wtf it was a 7 min fight and i had 2+ hrs so i got no chance to pick up the garb, still pissed!

      @Froppy907 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Time doesn't stop moving there, even in fights. If you want to fight him you should fight him early in the day.

    • @Rican_Ninja
      @Rican_Ninja  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah that sucks but 2+ hours in game equals 2+ minutes in real life which isn't that much time to beat him, your best bet would be to try and kill as many Last One's as possible before you get to the final day so that you can get to the final boss faster and with more time left...

      Benjamin Aquino Both. If you're on Hard Mode, it should be available even earlier then that, probably from the start.

      OMG a recent comment. Hi xD

  • @senam23
    @senam23 10 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's a bit late to add comments, I guess, but... you have incredibly high stats and it still took you 8 mins to beat this guy?
    Why didn't you equip and use the ability Imperil, btw? (you do know that it helps your spells stagger the enemy faster while causing more damage too, right?)

    • @Rican_Ninja
      @Rican_Ninja  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha nah it's never too late to add comments.
      And Yeah I didn't really like to use Debuffs too much in the first two FFXIII's but lately I've been using almost all of them, they're really good.
      I've seen how useful Imperil is, especially with Element, Elementa spells, it's literally the only attack spell I need for EVERY enemy in the game.

    • @Rican_Ninja
      @Rican_Ninja  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think 8 mins was that long, you still have to stagger him 4 times and block most of his attacks while doin it.
      I have my Hard Mode Run right here in about the same time using the DLC outfits just for fun: Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII - Aeronite (Desert Dragon)[Hard Mode]

    • @senam23
      @senam23 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      PuertoRicanNinja Well, truth be told, it took me 9 mins (so 8 mins isn't bad), but your stats trample mine (I need to double check but my highest atk stat is below 2500, and my highest magic stat is around 2800 or 3000 max). I've seen other players do this (which made sense to me): using imperil throughout the match (which I always do :) ) and after the 4th stagger, using one of the en-potions (enfire/enthunder or else) before attacking. With your stats, if you face him again, you'll be opening a severe can of whoop-ass on that guy. But, that's just my take on it. I shouldn't be getting so serious about it. It's still a game. :)

    • @Rican_Ninja
      @Rican_Ninja  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Senam Lawson Lol, nah i appreciate the advice, this was back then when the game first came out tho and I was just tryin to platinum the game. My run right now would probably be much better since I've messed around with a lot of different garbs, ablilities and weapons so I know better strategies. Attack power doesn't mean anything for this boss fight until the last part tho, so even with high stats it still woulda took the same amount of time to stagger unless maybe I used the Imperil like you're saying. I will go back and try that out next time tho just to see...

    Highly skilled player. :)
    Although there's a way, waaaay easier method to beat this little lizard, actually, you don't even need ether, just keep one but that's enough, it's just a matter of equipment.

    im on hard mode did over 50 side quest and i never got my 14th day

    • @Rican_Ninja
      @Rican_Ninja  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      What was their star level? 1star missions count less towards getting the 14th day than the 2star and 3star missions do...
      You probably have to do a bunch of 2star and 3star side quests and less of the 1star side quests...

    • @Damacius13
      @Damacius13 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      PuertoRicanNinja 1 star sidequests = .02
      2 star sidequests = .04
      3 star sidequests = .08
      In order to get to day 14 you need a total of 1 and have completed all 5 main quests.

    >< still cant beat this stupid dragon I get to the 3rd stagger and die :(

    • @Rican_Ninja
      @Rican_Ninja  10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      What do your stats look like? How many ethers and Elixirs do you have?
      It's very easy to get a bunch of Turbo Ethers and Ethers from the random NPCs that sell you items and they're not that expensive either. Ethers help you cast Curaga to keep yourself healed and cast overlimit to give you more time before he leaves and for staggering faster.
      What equipment do you use? I had a Preta Hood on one Garb and Ghostly Hood on another garb. One reduces physical damage by 75% and the other does the same but for magic damage. The only drawback is that they reduce your magic and physical attack to shit but it doesn't matter because those two garbs will be used for staggering him only. The 3rd garb should be your main attacker for once you stagger him the 4th time and he completely goes down so have Heavy Slash or some other strong attack on there to kill him quickly.
      Hope it helps. =)
      If all else fails you can always do it on Easy mode, although you won't get the "Disaster" spell once you beat him which casts like 5 different debuffs at once I think.
