Our History needs to be taught.
The interviewer should have allowed the man speak.
This “Old men” are loaded with wisdom and experience.
    Allow them to talk.

If this man believed in the strict adherence to military rank hierarchy as he claimed, how come he did not have a problem working in a subservient position to a lowly flt lieutenant as Head of state?

By virtue of being head of state, you become the commander-in - Chief and every military person is subservient to the Commander-in -Chief

Cojo Opoku far from that. If you have listened to him being interviewed over the years and his leadership, you will realize that he tells it as it is. A pure military man. Honesty and integrity.

Cook Opoku, some of us served under this man in the Army and know him better. You are probably a millenial and should contact your grandfather for some history lessons

@@philipachiok1211 I’m surprised I missed your comment. Two days after the murders of the judges, he was in a meeting with Rawlings and the rest of the pndc members when Amartey Kwei was asked to release the judges. Amartey kwei said they had killed them. Two days later Rawlings goes on air to assure the nation that the kidnapped judges are being sought so the nation should remain calm. Amartey Kwei stayed on at post until August. Brigadier Nunoo Mensah who also knew that the judges were killed before Rawlings gave that deceptive announcement of searching for them waited until November before he resigned. Now connect the dots.

@@jamesabaidoo232 you are naive. He sits there and pontificate as though he is the most righteous person in Ghana. He claims the 31st Dec coup was the result of some of the officers including he and Rawlings being sacked. Rawlings and Akatapore who were makers of the coup including Chris Atim, Xaya Yeebo, Kwesi Adu et al contradicts that claim. They said Limann who they thought was going to implement Nkrumah’s ideas was far from socialist ideals that’s the reason they gave for the coup.

Seriously the gentleman do the interview is too quick to ask questions which is diverting the main interest of the ( gathering General is telling why the coups come about) but he keeps asking questions and all the informations kept overboard.

He’s got a good heart I can see but he’s afraid to incriminate Rawlings on the killings of the heads of states and the killings of the Supreme Court judges but he’s gotta balls up Rawlings was the head of state in those times and these events happened under his watch so yes Rawlings is responsible

    Where is Ghana going ?
wherein our history is not properly told becuase of selfish interest And timide
This is painful And intimidating our great nation And upliftment And future generation.
Military rank system full of disorder.
Our differences of mind should build our country And continent betterment.
