I really enjoyed the video. The unique roar of Mercedes Benz engines, and the lovely cluck of the gear's pneumatic actuartors everything works as an organized German Symphony Not forgetting the neat interior especially steering wheel with Mercedes logo on it. They are really Trucks You Can Trust!

Mercedes trucks really proven themselves that their trucks last to eternity. I spotted some old Mercedes in my country and I gotta be honest they're still run like they were just out of the factory. I'm just hoping that these old trucks really last forever for future generations.

I work in truck maintenance, we have a fleet of Mercedes Benz 1726 and 1729. We also have a vw 17250. Although the vw 17250 trucks are older, they have better quality in some areas, an electronic 6-cylinder cummis engine, Eaton gearbox and also the best Meritor differential in the world (Rockewll 240). Some Mercedes have problems with the brake drum breaking, gearbox defects, differentials have more oil leaks. These defects are not common in VW Constellation 17250 trucks.

Familie H. hat wirklich eine sehr schöne Sammlung aufgebaut! Noch in den 1990ern standen solche L/LP für ein paar Mark bei vielen LKW-Händlern, und zu dieser Zeit lief in meiner Stadt noch ein LP 911 im Dienst eines Metallwarenhändlers, hatte dort aber ein ruhiges Leben. Hätte man damals kaufen sollen, wenn man einen überdachten Stellplatz gehabt hätte. Fast alle gingen in den Export, daher freue ich mich über jedes Exemplar, welches in Sammlerhand erhalten bleibt. Vor allem in solch einem hervorragenden Zustand! Hatten diese Fahrzeuge eigentlich schon druckluftbetätigte Kupplungen? Und wenn, war das Serie oder ein Extra? Wünsche Lauritz viel Freude und noch viele spannende Kilometer mit seinem LPS!

I didn't know MB built '32 with a 12 speed splitter, I thought the V10 got a 9 speed range change and the V8 and 6 cylinder '24 got the 12 speed. You learn every day.
