- I cut open a She Reads Truth Bible and glued the notes into my journaling Bible and it might be the best Bible journaling idea I've had yet! Bible note taking (or stealing!) seems like such a weird or wrong Bible study notes idea, but let me explain...
The She reads truth Bible has notes before each book of the Bible.... that is what I cut out- so that I could have these quick access guides and notes in MY journaling Bible! And I kept the scriptures in the She Reads Truth Bible completely unharmed and intact, so it's still a read-able Bible! I would NEVER harm the scriptures or disrespect them by cutting the scriptures out of a Bible...after all, that's my goal and aim in this and in my channel as a whole: to equip and encourage you to live a life of faith, so if you want to do some Bible studies with me and fan that fire of the faith, check out this playlist: • How to read the bible

Micro testimony :-) - After subscribing and binge watching so many of your videos over the last week I have rediscovered a love for the Bible. Yeah, I am a guy nearly 60, was on the mission field for 25 years teaching the Word, returned 2 years ago, and I was dried up with little reading of the Word. (Yeah, it is crazy how we let things slip!). Not sure how to explain it, but your passion and love for His Word has kindled that small flame of desire 'for the sincere milk of the Word' again - I was always a HUGE note taker in my previous Bibles and this has opened up a whole new world that I never knew existed THANKYOU!

You have such great ideas. I have been a christian many years but never studied my bible...only read it. But now I'm studying it and taking notes. I discovered you a week ago on you tube and have been binge watching your videos every day. I just love how you study your bible and take notes. You are such an encouragement to me. I’m ALL for this! I’m 60 and all the many years I’ve read bibles, each one had something wonderful I wanted put in ONE bible! So hey Faith! Why not!! And this is coming from a girl in the 60’ and 70’s who thought it was sacrilegious to even get an ink spot on your Bible pages, to one who( has been working through the loss of my husband the last several years using Bible journaling)found bible journaling before it was even popular….with every color paint and pen I can own! I loved your comments recently regarding writing our prayers rather than just saying them in they have more weight being on paper and not just floating around in space. A great visual for me when I prayer journal. Loving all of your content, especially how you have added content to your Bible. I am no longer afraid to do this whereas before, I always felt my Bible needed to be pristine. There is freedom in writing in it, attaching pages etc. because of watching your videos. Thank you!

This is definately something that I would do aswell. You go girl. I fix a lot of Bibles for people. I love Bibles soooooo much! Got a very old Bible from an old lady who passed and the kids did not want it as it is ruined....but.....I can't wait to give it some tlc and make it beautiful again.

I’d like to see a video on your quiet time routine as a mom, if you have any updates from your last one.
I’d also like to see a video on some journaling prompts for prayer journals. Or some type of motivation for prayer journaling. Or tips for praying during quiet time. I find myself completing my reading plan during quiet time, and I do a quick prayer before I read, but then I tend to skip over praying more intently at the end on what I’ve read.

I love all of your Bible ideas your Bible scrapbooking is what I call it. And when I do this in my Bible and my ladies at Church see it they think I am an utter genius. I don’t have the heart to tell them that it wasn’t my idea because they think I’m a genius and listen I’ll take that kind of compliment any day I’ll tell them eventually that it’s all you but just the fact that they think I’m smart just absolutely gives me chills. Keep up the good work I love all your ideas. This particular idea I am going to go to my discount bookstore and purchase Bibles and I’m gonna look in it for just like commentary pages or pages like what you took out of the she reads truth Bible. I never thought of looking for a Bible and gleaning the information from it and putting it in my Bible. So stellar idea love your work, love you, love your kids.
I would love to see a video on ways to work through struggles when you're overwhelmed and struggling to hold onto your faith through bad times and experiences, how to not give up and walk away from your faith but stay strong and continue walking with God

I like doing my studies in a way that I don't just do it once and forget about it, but rather so that I can keep going back to the specific topic when needed and as I read threw my Bible and there is something else that I learn about the topic then I can add it to my notes on that. If you understand what I am trying to say. With other words...I would like to leave something behind for the next generation to help with their bible study. By the way, my name is Freda. I’m in my 60s and I used to feel so guilty years ago about it and highlighting in my Bible but I really got used to it and really give me a lot of inspiration to do more since I like to craft . I completely agree with you on your review of the "She Reads Truth Bibles". They aren't a great MAIN Bible for someone that is looking for footnotes, or commentary. As one that has been studying the Bible for years, I also felt the devotional content wasn't deep enough for me. That said, I LOVE to gift this Bible to new Christians. I feel like the information they do share, as well as the study plans are solid gold for someone that is a little overwhelmed with the question of where to start.

great video. I've done this with an older Open Bible, I took out of the great extra stuff and made a little hard cover book to read by itself. I wish we had one of those Biblebook stores outlet near us. We only have Ollies discount outlets and they have very little bibles anymore. take care
Thanks for sharing. I would greatly appreciate it if you could do a video on verse translation, comparing differences. Specifically, Zephaniah 3:17. I compared KJV, ESV, and CJB translations and for the most part, all three translations agree on the overall idea of the message, even though stated a bit differently. The exception comes in on the part of the verse where both the KJV and the CJB are similar, although the verb phrases are different, their prepositional phrases are exactly the same, both clearly state that God will be silent/or, rest in His love. . My problem in understanding comes from the ESV translation where it reads: "He will quiet you by His love;". It seems to me that the ESV is saying something completely different, as in God's love will quiet/calm someone (action toward someone). The other two versions seem to give us a glimpse of God Himself being silent or resting, not being directed to anyone. I hope I'm making sense. Love your channel. I would love to see a video on how to study the Bible for baby Christians. I love to go super in depth when I study but that might be overwhelming for a few friends I have who are new to the faith and I’d be interested to hear how you would still get the meat out of the text without it being super crazy! Also, I’m a new sub and I am loving your videos!
