A couple of years ago, after a cancer diagnosis, I was sitting on my back porch crying and praying when the sweetest kitten with sparkley eyes caught my teary eye. He helped me through cancer and many hard times. I have learned that animals are amazing, and God is so faithful!
Dog person. Both of my dogs passed away. They were very old and very spoiled. I wasn't planning on getting anymore pets but a good friend from church was very sick and I offered to take care of her dog. She passed away and to my surprise left her dog to me in her will. I’m a single mom with a son with special needs and we are both animal lovers, we have a cat and a fish atm. We recently lost a few long time furbabies. Hi! Not a subbie but this post was in my feed. Thank you for the list of supplies I needed because I am trying to deepen my time with The Lord. I have some of the things but not all. I love to write anyway so the mini-notebooks were definitely a good idea. I thought I might get a brand new one for each book of the Bible. I am a dog lover but recently became a cat lover when a baby stray showed up at our home. Sadly she passed away last fall. We only had her a little over a year and I was very surprised at how attached I became to her. I will get another one as soon as I am back out on my own. Animals are angels and I love having cats and dogs around my house!❤

I am a dog mommy to two beautiful and lovable dogs, actually i call them my kids. When i was 68 years old, I was diagnosed with breast cancer on my right. During my chemotherapy and radiation therapy, I experienced side effects that devastated me, finding myself going down low in spirit. The reason I survived was the lord Jesus and his word in the Bible and my dogs. They never left my side, sitting quietly keeping me company either on the floor or up at the side of my bed, looking at me watching over me. That put me in peace in spite of my pain. I felt god’s presence, plus, the loving care of my son and my dogs. I believe meditating on the Word of God helped me through in dealing with my cancer, that is, both before, during, and after my cancer journey. To this day, I remain soak in the Word of God as my fountain of life, in my prayer life, living a godly life that is pleasing and acceptable to him, while serving him.

I try to listen to my Bible everyday and can’t ever seem to find that perfect place to set my phone on while I’m listening. I’ve read thru the Bible several times but had cataract surgery this year and started listening to it on my phone. What a blessing when I couldn’t read clearly. Wendy is giving very good advice. The best advice of all, is to study your Bible. Acts 17:11 be like the Bereans, they received the Word with all readiness of mind, but they searched the scriptures to see whether or not those things were true. In other words, don't be so quick to believe what man says, see exactly what God himself says about the whole thing.
How right you are that not all Dollar Trees are created equal. I am definitely a cat person and smile when your Mr. Cat got on your desk 😻😻 I live alone and my black cat I rescued has rescued me and helped me through covid and many other obstacles in life (she is laying on the floor right beside me as I type this). Love those sticky notes! I've never seen any like that set before. I don't get out much, because I'm old and have issues with arthritis which makes it very difficult for me to stand or generally stroll slowly around a store. I have two Dollar Trees in my city, and about three Dollar General stores. I might gather up some courage and drop by the closest Dollar Tree and ask someone to direct me to the office supply section so I won't have to try to wander around the store on my own. I really, really hope they carry those sticky notes. I will probably buy three packs so I won't run out of them. Thank you for introducing me to these items. I can't enter the contest because I happen to be both a dog AND a cat person! The private nursing home where my husband was staying until he passed away on Father's Day has a "support cat" named Vanessa, and she used to come visit me daily while I was visiting my husband. God gifted us with a wonderful place for my husband to spend his last six months, as well as bringing little Vanessa into my life to help comfort me. I called her my part-time pet because I was blessed with getting the love from her without having the responsibility for her! :)
Wow! I hope you'll be able to find what you need in the store. It's hard for me to walk around sometimes because of my knee and my back. But being both a dog and cat person still qualifies for entry! Oh, and that's wonderful they had such a support cat. And I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your husband.

I like both, but I am definitely more a dog person. Had a beautiful Cocker Spaniel named Angel. Adopted him at 10 weeks old, and had him until he passed away at 15 in 2015. One year later, when my father was in the hospital, he told my mom he saw Angel sleeping in the chair by his bed. At first we chalked it up to his just waking up from a nap. Two days later, he saw him again. The next day my father passed away. We know our precious boy was coming to get his pappy.
I see some great ideas here. I don't know much about Bible Journaling, however my Bible now has tabs and coloring in it than a kindergarten class project. This is because there is so much valuable information in the Bible and also because I have so many favorite passages. I'm not sure how you popped up in my feed, but I'm glad you did. I'll check out more videos because I'd like to see this Bible journaling put into practice! And for me, if I MUST choose only 1, I'd have to go with cats because they're pretty self-reliant, but in fact, my truest choice would be birds. I love birds.

Hello Wendy. I’m a mom to 4 cats. So I’m a cat person. 2 of them are Tuxies, both rescue cats, G and Joker. Been 2 awesome years. The 3rd one is a European short hair, Tails who was found. The last one is the Queen of the house. She was actually the first one, Blink. My son got her from a lady that had kittens in a box at the grocery store. She came home and it’s been 5 great years with her. They keep my family busy. It’s ok, without all 4, we wouldn’t be holding, cuddling or snuggling with them. All 4 have brought so much joy. Of course we’re now covered in cat hair, that’s ok 😁 but knowing they have a home and family where they’re safe and loved is the best thing ever. A blessed day to you always.😊

Hands down a dog person. I got a Boston Terrier (Baxter) for my 60th birthday gift from my hubby and daughter and he’s now 7 months old. What a joy he is and he definitely keeps us on our toes. Hello! I really enjoyed this video! I just rededicated my life to Jesus last night. 🎉 I’m really looking forward to getting back into Bible journaling again. My Bible is full of doodles, notes, glitter, stickers, washi tape, & random things I get for free. Like magazine clip outs, sparkly packaging bits, packaging ribbons, ect. My mom saves her sparkly packaging bits for me, too. I definitely don’t have to worry about loosing my Bible & it not being obvious who it belongs to. 😅 I’m disabled & don’t have a lot of money so it’s extra refreshing to see a budget friendly haul! Looking forward to checking out your channel! Also. Love your cat! His effort to hold onto the desk was quite admirable 😂 I have 1 dog. 1 cat earth side. And countless cats heaven side. I grew up with an indoor cat. When I married my husband we both decided to get a cat, shortly weove to our current home Tigger passed away. Since his passing we haven't had another pet. The colored sticky tabs are awesome if you want to color code all scriptures in your Bible to find by color for healing, authority, eschatology, Holy Spirit, Faith,the blood…. Whatever you are studying.
I am a cat person now. I used to prefer dogs but physically I can't take of a dog right now. My husband surprised me with a black and white kitten four years ago that took a liking to him at his outdoor work place. She came out of a loving skunk mamas home that was taking care of her. The skunk mama must have thought she was one of her babies. Not sure what happened to cat mom or any litter mates, but I'm so glad I have my surprise cat

My favorite right now is my Sister’s cat that I took in when my sister went to Heaven. It took me a year to get her out from under the bed. I laid on the floor and talked to her every day. Went through tbe biting and scratching phase. Took things slow, and 8 years later I have a really close relationship with our kitty. When she hears my voice she comes. She sleeps on my lap. So glad I worked wit her instead of putting her down. She’s such a blessing.

She came home and it’s been 5 great years with her. They keep my family busy. It’s ok, without all 4, we wouldn’t be holding, cuddling or snuggling with them. All 4 have brought so much joy. Of course we’re now covered in cat hair, that’s ok 😁 but knowing they have a home and family where they’re safe and loved is the best thing ever. A blessed day to you always.😊

Hands down a dog person. I got a Boston Terrier (Baxter) for my 60th birthday gift from my hubby and daughter and he’s now 7 months old. What a joy he is and he definitely keeps us on our toes. Thank you so much for the give away, Bible journaling, studying the word is what puts a song in my heart and draws me closer to Our Savior Jesus every morning. 🙌🏻🙏🏻

Those flags would be grate as tabs. I love Crayola twistable pencils are great. Even if you don’t draw or color, they are great for highlighting.

Dogs all the way. I love when they give you puppy eyes as a grown adult knowing they did something wrong. I love when the put their head on your leg to get your attention.dog are so affectionate. I love big cats like a black panther so again Dogs are my favorite. Lol. Be blessed.

Hello! I really enjoyed this video! I just rededicated my life to Jesus last night. 🎉 I’m really looking forward to getting back into Bible journaling again. My Bible is full of doodles, notes, glitter, stickers, washi tape, & random things I get for free. Like magazine clip outs, sparkly packaging bits, packaging ribbons, ect. My mom saves her sparkly packaging bits for me, too. I definitely don’t have to worry about loosing my Bible & it not being obvious who it belongs to. 😅 I’m disabled & don’t have a lot of money so it’s extra refreshing to see a budget friendly haul! Looking forward to checking out your channel! Also. Love your cat! His effort to hold onto the desk was quite admirable 😂 I have 1 dog. 1 cat earth side. And countless cats heaven side. I grew up out in the country & my mom would put igloo dog houses, food, & water out for any stray cat that needed it. I love my dog dearly. But I am a crazy cat lady at heart. Always have been. I grew up with an indoor cat.
When I married my husband we both decided to get a cat, shortly weove to our current home Tigger passed away. Since his passing we haven't had another pet.
He was so loving he and my husband had a special bond. Most likely because my husband is a huge pet lover.

My new profound love are dogs. Never knew how much I loved dogs until we rescued Charlotte. She’s from a litter from the Navajo Reservation and we took her in four years ago. She is now family. She’s a sweet heart. We love her so much!!!

The colored sticky tabs are awesome if you want to color code all scriptures in your Bible to find by color for healing, authority, eschatology, Holy Spirit, Faith,the blood…. Whatever you are studying.

I am a cat person now. I used to prefer dogs but physically I can't take of a dog right now. My husband surprised me with a black and white kitten four years ago that took a liking to him at his outdoor work place. She came out of a loving skunk mamas home that was taking care of her. The skunk mama must have thought she was one of her babies. Not sure what happened to cat mom or any litter mates, but I'm so glad I have my surprise cat
We love dogs, especially beagles😊 . Tucker is funny and loud at times as he can pick up wildlife sense in our woods. Great Bible study and journaling tools you got.

My favorite right now is my Sister’s cat that I took in when my sister went to Heaven. It took me a year to get her out from under the bed. I laid on the floor and talked to her every day. Went through tbe biting and scratching phase. Took things slow, and 8 years later I have a really close relationship with our kitty. When she hears my voice she comes. She sleeps on my lap. So glad I worked wit her instead of putting her down. She’s such a blessing.

Bothe are awesome but CATS have my whole heart😻. I have gotten some journaling supplies from Temu which have been hit and miss but the price is right. They have amazing stickers.
