I totally understand. When I first became a Christian at 17, my grandmother bought me my first study bible. I loved and used it up that the binding fell apart. So I decided to get it rebound. And anxiety of sending it off was hard. My grandmother passed away 15 years a go. This bible had my grandmother hand writing in it. But I did and it came out beautifully.
How precious! I wish I could find the bible of my grandparents.

This is wonderful. I know that we will not be able to take possessions with us when we go home. However, Faith, I so hope that God allows you to bring it with you to present to him. When my husband had his preaching Bible rebound they were able to add additional pages in the front & back. (I think he was most excited about that!)

I had an ESV bible i had for like two yrs and it was the first bible i had boughten myself.. i could spend up to six hours in the word daily and one day God lead me to give it to a homeless woman who was battling all these things and i was on the verge of crying the entire time, and i could feel my heart breaking to hand it over…so i feel you🥺🥹🤣

If i were you, never would take your precious Bible outdoor. ❤I would take an other one and complete the study from outdoors in the ❤Bible. (And read the notes) or copy the notes to take with me.

Today i got the book
The Bible with and without Jesus:how Jews and Christians read the same stories differently. (In the new german translation)
And put the Bible book names tabs into my Bible, an Interline Bible, an OT Commentary and Basis of the Bible book. So its easier for me to find for study.❤

My Bible the first 10 years of my faith I was like this. I was so anxious when it was out of my sight and my friends would try to hide it from time to time. Sadly I backslid, and when I came back to my first love I bought a new Bible. Now days I rotate Bibles often because I felt so dependent on it and I don't want that feeling again. But this video really brought me back to those days.
I mailed my Bible to crew and co last Monday, I’m so excited to get it back. It was a Christmas gift from my sister, it had a smooth hard cover and my hands are bad and I could not grip it,then I saw your video so I splurged and am getting it covered.
My mom has her grandma’s Bible and she never uses it because it’s spineless and falling apart. Good to know I can get it rebound (and have it look cute and like something she’ll want to read instead of just be the sad dusty family heirloom)! Well I looked you 2 up and see you are Presbyterian. I shall always be grateful that you guys have Union Presbyterian Seminary located here in Richmond, VA. I made heavy use of it, when I moved here to begin as an Assistant Pastor in 1972! Seeing todays video, I cannot imagine what shape Faith is in every Christmas as she gets presents.

I watched another video from another channel and the girl had a bible and she was just like you but then she said she felt like the lord was telling her she was too attached to that bible and not the lord that he told her to give it to someone else I can’t even imagine having to do that

But I can understand. I use to have a Bible that had all my notes I had taken over many years. And I had it inside a carrier. I took it everywhere I went. To work even, not a studio; so it had to stay in my car for lunch time reading.
One day my car was broken into and it was stolen. I was devastated.
So glad it made it back to you safely.

Faith you have no clue how much this video means to me. I find that your love of your Bible stems with how much you have grown in your walk thru seminary and this channel. I adore that it’s your notes and your internal communication with the Heavenly Father that you missed in hand. My Bible has gotten me right with the lord in so many ways and I adore how much I know you get that. Also the logo on this Bible made me weep because it is a true reflection of your love of Gods word and teaching!!!! Faith, take it from a 69- year-old grandma, you are amazing. Your humility is a testament to your respect for and love of our Lord. I am always pleased with your scripture-rooted instruction and your courageous responses.
Suggestion: Draw a distinction for your audience concerning the word "judge." It has two clear and ambiguous meanings: To condemn and To discern. When your audience accuses you of being "judge-y," they are suggesting that your discernment is condemnation, but it is not. You are correct to say that you are not condemning anyone, but you are discerning meaning, behavior, and sin. You are a good teacher, imparting a means to "be present" while studying scripture through "cute" Bible journaling. I, applaud you! This is very appealing to women of all ages. You go, girl! You're doing a great job! I am a $5 Patreon subscriber -- I will keep watching.

I got teary eyed when you revealed the cover. It was just perfect! The color, your brand and your name at the bottom ... just perfect! I felt that emotion of being dazzeld and the sentimental value it has for you Faith. Beautiful work from Crew and Co. I just started Bible journaling and I am starting seminary first year…. And I can’t wait until my Bible is full of keepsakes!
I love watching your incredible excitement. Fun story- my daughter is 16 and loves Bible study like me. She has a study at her public HS. The day I watched your Bible Bootcamp video about translations, I realized I was an NIV snob. Every single Bible that I owned was NIV. I wanted a CSB but didn't say anything. Little did I know, but my daughter purchased a CSB notetaking Bible for me the same day. She was prodding and asked, "Mom, what kind of Bible would you buy if you were in the market." So- she spilled the beans, and I waited for it to arrive with great anticipation- although not as great as your anticipation :). It got lost in the mail. She got a refund and repurchased the Bible at more than 50% off what she originally paid. I was literally pacing back and forth today as I waited for it to arrive. I finished your BC yesterday and can't wait to dive into Daniel today (I'm leading the Beth Moore Daniel study now). Anyway- thank you for your dedication and excitement and for sharing it with us.
This popped up on my recommended, and it was fun to watch 💕 but I had a thought that it would be an interesting challenge to tuck that beloved treasure away for a month and start in a fresh Bible.... Prove to yourself you can without the joy of studying the word and being in His house if the unthinkable happens and you were to somehow lose it. (My Bible was stolen when I was younger and while it was eventually found, all my extra tip ins and bookmarks and moments were all removed and I never got them back. I struggled to even look at after that. And even had a hard time getting a new one at first... Which is understandably human, but also not supposed to be where the Joy is from) But it came out beautifully! I love their work! And I'm glad it made it through the process safe and better than ever!

The comment my husband made is true, if you lose your notes, you won't remember why you highlighted the passage. It loses it's meaning. Surely you have an extra Bible you can use for a couple of weeks. Just journal on extra pages you can insert when your beloved favorite Bible gets home. Really, I understand being anxious when you don't have your current Bible with you. My hubby sometimes uses mine and if it's not where it's supposed to be, I search! 🤗🙏
I've watched this video a few times it makes my heart sing for joy every time I've watched it I've Ben watched a few of your videos I most say I'm OK with taken notes in my Bible notes and putting in my Bible thank you for helping with this

It might be a good exercise to function without the comfort and familiarity of what we are used to, but I picture Moses with The Book of Instruction and I imagine him being equally near-and-dear to what God revealed to him and to have it close at hand is a privilege. A (spiritual) lifetime's worth of insight and revelation. So pretty. I am happy with you!!

Hey Faith! I’m not really a “TH-cam commenter.” Mostly because I typically don’t know you personally. But I just really wanted to reach out and tell you that your channel has blessed me in a way that bring tears to my eyes because I don’t even have words sufficient. I have excitement and motivation to get crafty in ny journaling Bible with purpose. It used to be just random thoughts, but now it’s like a growing commentary … a beautiful one at that! So thank you thank you thank you for your content! (Also, side note … I’ve showed some of your content to my husband who’s also a seminary graduate and he approves! Not that you need that stamp, but it makes me laugh because your content helps me keep up with him in conversations that before I felt like I was always playing catch up. I probly didn’t explain that well and will get attacked in the comments but just had to tell you thank you!)
