Good video thanks! Sweet feet shots as well. Glad you are continuing down this CZ path and comparsions are great for me. I like the full size CZ being nose heavy and find the compact more balanced so I run g10 lok palmswells not brass you can experiment with weight balancing as well. Interesting the upgrades didn't yield the drill improvements you expected. Impressive you liked the shooting experience up with the fullsize. The compact has such a good recoil feel stock assuming the spring and polishing just enhances the very nice be well!
I got the thin bogies with the two tone inlay from LOK grips(black grip with OD Green inlay and liner). I also have the Eemann Tech ultimate trigger because I liked it more than CGWs DA/SA trigger. Since I carry this gun, I changed the safety detent spring which made the safety have a much more positive select when manipulating it. I run a Holoson EPS MRS Green optic for carry. I just ordered the DPMS recoil kit and waiting for that to arrive. I have over 500+ rounds on her after everything has been changed, no malfunctions. Great info you provide on these guns! I enjoy watching your videos. I’m not a competitive shooter but I LOVE the sport! I will be getting a full size shadow 2 and go balls to the walls with it.
Nice video. I have s2c all Cajun internals, same grips, I however went to single action, with a flat trigger, the trigger job is amazing, as it has zero take up with around a 3 pound pull. The barrel is crowded 11° and ported. It shoots amazing. These are awesome guns.
I also installed a reach reduction kit in mine. It also needed a good deal of fitting, including after the gun heated up. Nice trigger now tho. I've got a 13lb main spring in mine. The 11.5 can give me light strikes with some factory ammo. I'm also trying a DPM systems guide rod on mine. First time trying one. Not real sure it makes much of a difference. I've got Lok aluminum palm swells, extended mag release and Lok magwell (really locks my grip in). Lastly, I installed an OEM extended safety. Gave the rails and internals a quick polish as well. Nice gun. Not sure how much (if at all) better it is than a P01 with the same upgrades. I haven't tested mine side by side yet.
This is my CCP setup as well, except I use Lok palm swell bogies and the Cajun 11# recoil spring was not light enough so I went with the DPM recoil system.

@@andrewfrye1703 I’m personally not into Tisas… but some shooters seem content with them… so unlikely I’ll invest in one at this time. As far as a starting point… that comes down to a shooters preference. If your goal is to have a nice trigger and solid shooter… assuming the reliability is there… I’d make a case for the Tisas. @@andrewfrye1703 gotcha. I had a surprisingly positive experience when I did the Prodigy. Even recent production models seem to have improved their quality control issues (had a chance to confirm that with a couple of local shooters that own them) they had with early models. I go back and forth on the argument if the shadow 2 compact vs the p01. I keep coming back to the thought that one is a cz75 > shadow 2 > compact The other is cz75 > cz75b > cz p01. My guess is the standards to which they are made are different. As one is a nato certified gun and one is a competitor pistol. I just wish I understood more about both the p01 and the s2c to explain the difference.
I have both and will continue to carry the P01. Personal preference of course, the decocker gives me a layer of safety not on the S2C. Both are good options. The S2C is "better" out of the box. Better sights, smoother and lighter action. I also prefer the trigger shape. Mainly, should I ever have to defend myself or family. I would rather surrender the $600 option over $1300.
@@williamsmith4720 I follow everything except the 600 vs 1300 argument. Unless you shoot both the same. I’m not saying you do or don’t personally. I’m saying a lot of people use that argument in strange ways.
@@williamsmith4720 do you mainly keep it factory and that’s where you are coming from? Question: you mention you shot faster with the stock grips vs lok brass grips. I saw your videos on the full size shadow 2 also with lok grips. Why would you be slower with a lighter gun with brass grips vs heavier gun with brass grips?
The brass grips on the Full-Size help immensely with balance as it’s a nose/muzzle heavy gun. So when balanced better in my hands, swinging it felt more natural for me and shot better for my preference. The S2C as I learned… doesn’t have that challenge and is balanced fairly well out of the box thus the stock grips.
