I’m a truck driver and one thing I learned traveling is that the most talented people aren’t famous they work normal jobs. Some truly talented artists, musicians and comedians never get discovered. The industries care more about status and how marketable someone is vs raw talent.

There was a time - not so long ago - that much work was accompanied by songs. Where my father worked as a carpenter, at the time when most tools were hand-tools (not motor tools), the workshops were filled with rhythms and smells of natural materials. Often, the italien workers sung operas while working. The tunes and working rhythms blended into a whole. (That was last century. I am 66 now; that time ended with when motorized tools became the standard.)
