Honestly, I do love the fact that I just randomly stumbled upon your channel. The fact that you're Dutch as well only makes it that more fun for me, lmao. (And will say, your English is really freaking amazing dude. Very British tone.) The setup looks amazing. Little cluttered but you're also still adding / modifying so I'm able to look past it. Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to seeing the progress of this.
Lovely addition. I also have a work macbook, my own mac mini and a gaming PC. The lack of a KVM is starting to get on my nerves - so I certainly feel your pain! :)
Love how this project is turning out! Not entirely sure what some of the gear does to be honest, but it’s super interesting seeing how people adapt their working environment to suit their own particular needs. The production value of your videos and work is always insane, keep up the great work dude!
The new mouse ears feature in the latest version of Bambu studios could help some with adhesion to build plate especially since your using a bed slinger instead of a core xy machine.
It might be cool to tidy up the cable runs coming out the front of the KVM using keystones and patch panels. I reckon you could even print it to size. It’s not a requirement by any means, but it could be one way to help make that side of the desk a little less overwhelming without getting rid of the physical interfaces?
Hey yo Flatlander,, good to see another video! love the consistency ! just saw your video and wanted to say thanks for all the videos you do, they inspire me :) so decided to make my own 3d scanner with Rasperry Pi :) hopefully it will work :D just need some 3d printed parts (waiting a month to save up for a printer atlast) and waiting for Nema motors ;) should arrive in two weeks :) hopefully it will work fine
That's really awesome ! especially the 3d scanning project I've never heard of someone making it with a raspberry pi that's really cool! good to hear that your still enjoying the vids :)
just discovered your channel bro i want to tell you that your projects are next level .. one sugesstion just show case your projects via montage or elaborated showcasing video waiting for more videos keep up the good work ...
I worked at a company with a office network and a secure network and a computer could only be connected to one of them so I had two computers and used a KVM to switch between them dozens of times per day.
The 80cm ones are Subtech, the smaller ones with the Cables running through them are from Ergear, i drilled out the base of those so the cables can pass through. i tried to find them for you but they seem to have switched to a different design, but basically monitor arms with a baseplate thats welded to the pole and allows bolts to pass through, this way the centre thread can be removed. I hope it helps ( i just kind of assumed that that's what your looking for haha )
@FlatLanderTech I should've mentioned it in the first comment itself but the way you shoot your content is amazing and inspiring! Please keep on making videos.
An unpowered HDMI repeater, also called a passive repeater, simply acts as a signal "buffer" by electronically passing the HDMI signal through its circuits without amplification, essentially allowing for a longer HDMI cable run by mitigating signal degradation that occurs over long cable distances; it does not require external power because it doesn't actively boost the signal, but rather just helps maintain its integrity.
Would someone please link me to the previous 3 videos in the series? I couldn't find any other video that starts with the same name to indicate it's part of the same series.
I definitely like it being displayed. Giving a big instrument panel for professional vibe. Like it's purposefully supposed to be there.
haha that's good to know :) big fan of the instrument panel looks aswel, but I hope to clean this up a little so its a bit more... zen or something :)
Not only a nice project, but the video aesthetics are way up there. Just pure pleasure watching this.
You’re becoming my favorite TH-camr

For some reason, it feels like your top-down camera is a bit over 90 degrees to the table. Feels like I'm about to fall over 😄
I appreciate this comment because you absolutely right and its about time I fix that!

Will do appreciate it! :)
what pipe and connectors are you using for the monitor "scaffolding"?
