Hello, Thanks a lot for coming up with a great practical video for all AK4500 users. I am an S1H & AK4500 user. Due to the heavy weight of the S1H, the camera tend to tilt because the mounting plate provided by FeiyuTech is not strong enough to hold its weight. I can understand why you use an extra mounting plate. In your video you promised that you will provide the details about the mounting plate that you use ( @ 03:08 ) . It would be a great help if you do so to know the exact specifications. Thanks.
Regarding the one side being easy to screw in and the other side difficult...don't tighten the first side and then push the bracket a little to fit precisely over the 2nd hole and it will be easier to screw in. The machining was off by a millimeter
Why didn't I see this video on time, after have already figured it all out, could have saved me the trouble and confusion, Well thanks for this video anyways
Can AK4500 power the camera through a dummy adapter? There's nothing that states that this gimbal offers power out of the handle or the quick release plate. Thanks
I've been using this v mount charger for a year now and no issues. amzn.to/49D9OXB I've used the Hollyland 400s for a few years now and has worked great in many situations. The one I have is not available anymore, but there is any updated version. fave.co/49Z7viB
@bane tech hey I have same gimble and I lost my top layer quick release plate which you have on this video at 3:12, can you suggest me any brands which fits with the quick release plate because I have tried 2-3 different but they were not working. Thanks
Thanks for the feedback! At the time I made this video there were no resources explaining all the parts and I was confused, so I was like I’m struggling someone else is going to as well. Worth making a video about it.

Great review! I just received a $500 gift card and am thinking of buying this FeiyuTech AK4500 Gimbal - it is on sale for $200 off. Seems like it will be a great buy. Thank you.
"The AK4500E does not include the AKF2 Follow Focus or Motion Controller. If you would like those items, please purchase the AK4500KIT." Was it the AK4500E you reviewed?
You mounted the extension arm the wrong way. There are videos out there showing how to mount it correctly. You need to use an included screw through the accessory arm and lock it that way. The screw you used is for mounting stuff like monitors etc. it will fall off easily the way you did it.
Are you referring to the way as shown in their own images? images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/61G4-QHVIgL._SL1001_.jpg (refer to the bottom left image)
There is a video of a guy almost dropping his gimbal mounted the way you did it. Don’t get me wrong. I found your video super helpful. Just that one detail.
Highjacking this comment section to ask a couple questions. Has anyone had issues with excessive vibration from the panning motor after balancing, updating firmware, calibrating, and setting payload? Mine seems to work well, but on occasion throws fits where it only works after resetting the gimbal. ALSO: Has anyone had issues with their hyperlink? I had mine set up, updated firmware, and successfully connected it to the gimbal, but unfortunately, it does not seem to work at all with my gimbal. Like, no response whatsoever when I use the controls. If anyone could give some advice I would appreciate it.
you forgot to put the link to the quick release plate Update: nevermind I would not recommend this too many people complain about it snapping and breaking..

@@BaneTech Thanks for the tutorial, great job. However, the HQR-RY120 plate is incorrect & it’s way too big. I clicked the link, purchased the plate & it’s nowhere near a fit.
@@BaneTech cool, please let me know the outcome when you do. I’m gonna send this plate back. If you locate one that fits, I’ll get it. Been trying to contact Feiyu-Tech since Sunday & no response.
Wow.. ton of things come with this... love itn
They need a way to store it all lol
Excellent info. I love the way you break everything down into smaller videos. A++
Thank you for the compliment and feedback.

can you pls share the link where you bought the quick release thing. thanks
Kit.co/JoshuaBane
did you do F/U video ?
So the follow focus and lens support go in the same place?
Same area
@@BaneTech "same area" but its a crap shoot because...well... NO ONE CAN SEE WHERE ITS SUPPOSED TO GO...because of the crappy camera angle.
