Between the Cherokee and last gen Chrysler 200, their exhaust systems sounds really good compared to the Chargers, Challengers, 300's, etc. They both have a very deep raspy note almost like the base Maserati's V6 exhaust.

Being from the US I don’t have a clue why they use this engine, they should the 3.6 and the also have the 2.0t.

I think it was because of packaging of the engine bay, and that it's below the Grand Cherokee.

this engine is more efficient than the peugeot 3008 hybrid and only at 120kmh gets worse than the peugeot xD

It is efficient only at low speed because the air resistance is low and engine relaxed due to higher capacity. After that is just a wall against air, that's why is limited to 190kmh.
