I think you can make your car as wide as you like! Especially on on tourist drive when there’s restrictions. But not much in it! Value for money the Jag wins! What a car for the money!
The F-Type can also do something the others can't: pack for 2 and go on a 3 week European road trip! That's what we did with my wife this summer in my Jaguar F-Type R 😁👍 Boot was big enough and the seats were very comfortable 👌 4200 miles (6700km) of pure joy in comfort + joyrides in the Swiss and Austrian Alps then blasted back on the Autobahn up to 170mph. Still smiling 😀
What a great lap, nice driving! What is it about the SVR that seems to make it slower than the 911 round track, is it the extra weight, or is just down to the driver? As you said at the end, the driver in front didn't;t want to let you pass, but even if he did, could the SVR have kept up? The SVR is fast, but there a few different points where the 911 accelerated like a bullet!
Ca 200 kg lighter + rear engine.. Weight in the back = traction when you hit the power out of the corner. I think the PDK is faster in the response too. But man the SVR is nice.
You also have to keep in mind that the pace of a Taxi is often dictated by the passenger. If someone is feeling a little sick drivers tend to slow it down in the corners but still accelerate as quickly as possible.

What tires? The best F-Type performance upgrade is ditching the OEM P-Zero passenger car tires.

Daniel Sadjadian In theory there are only 5hp difference between the 2 cars. That turbo S is not stock in my opinion.

We were on new tyres in the SVR the Porsche tyres were due to be changed and yes it is the faster of the two! But bang for buck the Jag wins!

Its the OEM passenger car tires vs performance tires. With Cup 2s and a 700 HP tune, the Jag is seriously faster than any 911.

If that was the speedo in the corner then it isnt an svr an svr can touch 201mph

@@930spyder I think the Speedo looked like 224 kph where as an svr can do 300 odd kph.
That's a Vbox GPS speedo that runs with the camera, there is also a digital readout which exceeds the analog speedo at some points
