This was so close to been a different story. The barber on the right, top skills, watching, prepared and waiting. I think it’s also important to note that the female barber repositioned herself behind the mother’s child. She instinctively used the child as a motivator to deter the mother from shooting. Not good for the child of course but she used what she had in that situation.

In some states it would only be self defense if she was blocking the exit. Most states say you are forced to run not fight back or you go to jail as well.
Probably would take time in the system but I'm sure it would be swept up with a minimum sentence for the public's sake
I'm from Florida and it's a "Stand your ground state". I'm putting myself in the position of the barber who pulled his weapon. I would of seen that lady pull the weapon, pointed it at several individuals to include me and that would of been enough for me to defend myself and others. So many variables could have occurred. She could of been mentally I'll and eventually used the weapon. She could of mishandled the weapon, accidentally discharging it and more than likely hitting someone in that small, crowded space. If I see anyone pull in a threatening fashion I'm assuming you're going to use it. If it's safe to do so, I will respond with deadly force.

The judge was right, we have seen enough, people.using guns to threat or harm others for foolish reasons. Not sending her to prison would show that the legal system doesn't work. Society must see that drawing a gun out of reason is not right.

In Texas it is called " wreakless endangerment ". Some one should had called the police immediately out of site and possibly got a plate number as the other boy took the car keys . She is a threat to public and obviously mentality unstable to carry. I was a State Officer for several years and know the laws in Texas. She needs to be disarmed immediately. I hate to say that in Texas it is very easily to obtain CHL. Be careful not to display a weapon unless it is a situation that you are going to have to use it.

In the 15.5 years that I've owned guns, I have yet to have to pull it out. My husband did however pull up his shirt and showed his gun to a crazy knife wilding idiot that was at the gas station when he tried to enter the store... That changed his mind REAL FAST. (He got mad at some other customer at the pump. Another customer ran into the store and told them what was going on at the pump).
