I just bought the 20 Breakout 114. Getting the short shot pipes, woods cams, chrome heavy breather air intake, the same seat you have with a detachable sissy bar, plus the LED indicators on the front and back. The dealer is installing everything now and I should pick it up this week. I'll upload a vid when I do. Awesome bike man.
Always liked Japanese sports bikes more. Once I watched sons of anarchy. Started then pay more attention to Harley bikes. One day stumbled upon Breakout over here in London. From this point on this is my dream bike. Such a beautiful bike every time I see it ,it feels like a first time I saw it.
Paradise Road Yes. I watched videos on this bike since 2013. So when I got it I was so excited. Your turn will come too. I just love it and I am sure you will too.
I agree, I hate Harleys but this Breakout 114 won me over, still so happy I own it ,,its as cool as hell and people gather around it even at bike meets..after 3 seasons of riding it I still love it.
Hello. Lots of torque but go easy on the throttle and you will get used to it. It is not a corner carver. Lean angle is only small so need to go easy around corners. Harley stopped making this bike. So it’s already a collectors item. You may find one used. I do love the bike. Bad ass. And get comments everywhere I go
hey Thomas what was your motorcycle experience before the breakout?... have you been riding for years and purchased this or was it your starting bike?.. also what is your size and weight and how does it feel to handle the breakout? thanks.
IshiGame yes it is my first real bike. I ride a 150cc scooter before this. I am 5’9” and 32 inch inseam so I make this bike look big. It is a very comfortable bike for me. At first it is a bit scary. But it’s all in the throttle. I am very careful with it and after a few days I was so glad I bought it. Even stock this bike feels insanely powerful. I just like to cruise so this was my choice over the Ducati x diavel.s Everywhere I go people stare at this bike. Gas stations and stores people stop to look. It is really beautiful
yeah i have rode different bikes and scooters etc before and i am also very interested in a Breakout. i am not in the Ducati kawasaki honda CVR thing i also just want a nice comfortable big Harley to cruise in. i am 5'11 200lbs athletic and i thought maybe a breakout was too big? i also keep running into videos of people saying not to get it as a first bike etc. As your first big bike you havent had any issues controlling it, making turns or drops etc? i could tell after you turned that beast on you was thinking holy shit.. am i going to be ok lmao... beautiful bike.
IshiGame yes I was thinking what is the he’ll am I doing ? Haha. Too big in size for you. No. The seat is so low The power is a lot but it is very manageable once you learn to go very easy on the throttle. Turning you need to counter steer and slow down around the corners. SLOW DOWN AROUND THE CORNERS. You will slowly get to know what it can do. I watch MC rider and use good road strategy to try as much as possible to make up for the inexperience. I did not want to waste my money on bikes I did not like. I love the breakout and did not mind paying for a bike I love. It’s a cruiser. On the highways my friends have Vulcan 1900. Another has an older Harley. I just roll onto the throttle and they disappear in my rear view mirror. When they catch up they tell me my bike is really quick. I would not know the difference. But it does feel powerful. Choose the 114 over the 107. The 107 has a snappy response and is a challenge to manage for me as a beginner. The 114 I felt was more power but was more controllable throttle response. So I chose the 114 Sounds crazy but I think it has something to do with the fueling or tuning of the engines from factory. But ask an expert This is just what I felt. I test rode a 107 street bob and I thought I was going to die. I was sliding off the back and my my arms were out straight under acceleration. I was hanging on for dear life and could not control the bike if it was an emergency situation I would have been screwed. But the breakout the seat come up behind your butt and holds you in place. Under acceleration you can feel the seat pushing hard against your tail bone but you are not sliding back. This way your arms are relaxed and you can counter steer and enjoy the feeling of torque more. It is an addictive feeling and now I understand torque and the hype about Harley Davidson. I just wish I had done it sooner. And to thinkI have a stage1 kit. Some guys do stage 2-3-4. It’s insane really. I don’t need it at all. The bike has plenty for me. And my Friends can’t even keep up on the highways ... in 6th gear I was reving about 3900rpm. Rolling gently on the throttle and was doing over 100mph before I let off ... it had plenty more. That was fast enough for me. And I am now a member of the 100club. This was on a double lane highway in the day with no other cars on the road ..be safe
@@thomasandrewphd.5844 appreciate the response and info. It sounds perfect and i appreciate the experience info. i am originally from NYC and live in the country side in Japan so i am not even looking to hit 100 lol i just want to cruise enjoy the scenery and forest roads etc maybe start a club here. ( clubs in Japan are a hobby thing and mostly salary men and family men and women in them. ) i will take your experience on the 114 and go for that instead. i would much rather feel in control over the bike. Thanks again.

Me too ! I don’t like Harley’s but when I saw a breakout I was sold. I had to have it .
Awesome first bike. Mine had a 99cc scooter engine in a bike frame....at full throttle with all those horses released it was....very slow and shaky.
🎉congratulations with nice bike.
