@@LegendsofNerdvana I was able to playtest Distilled when it was being developed and I fell in love with it. Dave Beck did a great job on the game. Props to him for such a thematic design.
Dave Beck is awesome! Such a great guy! I wish I had gotten a chance to play it, but sadly my schedule did not allow more than a meet and greet and time for a photo with Dave.
More rulebook complaints? My father in law likes to read the rules to teach himself new games and had 0 issue. In fact one major complaint made in this video is covered in a giant section on page 4 with the word "IMPORTANT", spelt just like that.
Thanks for the review. Since you have a copy, I think it would make sense to start putting questions on BGG for those missing explanations in the rule book, please? :)
I am working on gathering all of the questions now. Thanks for joining us! One clarification - in the video I mentioned that in the original game you automatically bump players that you land on, but after revisiting the original rules, I see that it says you MAY bump them, so there is a rule for handling turn order when players occupy the same space. That still does not address the questions on events triggering based upon distance, or other issues we ran into that I will submit to BGG forums once I have them compiled.
@@LegendsofNerdvana Thanks for the quick reply! I probably should have prefaced my question with I heard that the biggest complaint about the base game was that as the game progressed your deck gets bloated and less efficient without a means to cull cards? Does the expansion fix this issue? I do really enjoy Clank in Space and this game intrigued me but it seems to be a bit polarizing for the community.
Nice Distilled shirt! Really looking forward to receiving my copy when it’s ready to fulfill. Thanks for this review!
We can't wait for Distilled either! The game looks amazing! Maranda got to play it at Gen Con and is even more excited now.

Can you attack other players?
Yes. If you do, you can bump them in position and make them discard cards from their deck, allowing you to gain blood for each human discarded.
Must have expansion?
I would say it adds enough to be a must have if you are already a fan of the game.
