Hey just an explainer. The reason Magneto could kill Shaw is because the coin was going slow. The coin had no energy for Shaw to exploit. The grenade has thermal energy, and the bullets have kinetic. The coin was going so slow, it had no energy. It would have worked with a slow stab with a knife. But anything fast with kinetic energy like a bullet, wouldn't work. Love the review though guys.

Wow, so there have been plenty of conversations about how mcu/xcu in review is one of the most successful series for KF and yet apparently its a chore to spend a whole 2 hrs to prepare. I understand every job eventually becomes just a job but that's really not a good thing to hear. It's hard to feel for you guys when I'm stuck in an office and away from my home for 11 hrs a day.
I hear you, but to be fair it's far from the only thing that they do all week...and it's probably cutting into their family time/relaxation time if it's something they're not wanting to do. I value my relaxation time as well!
Mario Miranda I remember this was gonna be a “limited seasonal show” until Infinity War and probably the “limited” time made it initially exciting. But somehow it became more popular than anticipated and then was decided to keep going. Probably is causing a strain of things being now an ongoing show. Personally feel that doing this XCU series so close to the MCU is also hurting the perspectives. The movies are being judged on an MCU lense when they should be judged with the years they came out in mind. Hearing words of how they were not “good movies” really makes me lose any film credibility I have of them as a movie critics.
Greg appreciates how every marvel movie has helped him and been with him. But that's in the past. And to help him move forward, he has to consider that part of himself over

The funny part about them (Erik/Charles) acting like Mystique is young is that she's a few years younger than Xavier. She just picked a human look that was a teen. Her kid self was 9 with Xavier being 12 I think.
I watched this movie to be fair at age 11 when it came out, but I liked the whole cast of new mutants,wished Darwin hadn’t died, i like mystique more in this one before they make the full turn and decide she’s gonna be a full blown hero now because Jennifer Lawrence wants to be and doesn’t want to wear the makeup anymore.
Idk if these decisions lie entirely on Lawrence’s shoulders but I still don’t like them, but the lack of the mystique makeups in Apocalypse was on her I have heard
They really missed an opportunity with the coin scene to use that as the reason Charles gets paralyzed, it's always bugged me because it would have been so much better

Beast had always been a smartie, his mutant powers are enhanced strength and agility along with the feet. The serum changed him into his beast look. Also Havok was changed to the older brother.
