I would have purchased a MSP already if they hadn't removed USS! When I do purchase I will not be opting for FSD as I prefer to drive the car myself so I don't really care if it has HW3 or HW4 but as of this moment these vehicles lack the functionality of USS to assist me with parking ,etc. As soon as they release a replacement for USS then I will purchase one.
The point is when will they solve the basic problem now for parking sensors. We are speaking of hw4 which probably will never affect the European market as fsd looks like it is ages away
Would wait as long as it takes to have p- sensors an 360” camera working in real life instead of only as promises..
The thing I am looking forward to most is the addition of the HD radar. Of course the additional 1.2 MP to 5 MP cameras would be a big help but I really want the HD radar at this point. Had they announced that the HD radar would not be included until Q3 of 2023 that would be a different story.
A company that wants you to buy cars now says there is no need to wait for new tech well that it is a shock to no one . They are never going to say buy this "rubbish" version that will be replaced in a few months with a far superior one .
Come on Giga Berlin, when are you going to make cars in RHD for the UK market?
I’ve got a LHD Shanghai-made MYLR and the quality of fit and finiish is irreproachable.
I did an order for a MYP in April -22, and now i finaly got an est delivery time again Feb-Mar (Quicksilver)

Everybody won't give a crap about FSD but will appreciate owning EVs. The old Teslas will be good for someone, as will the newer Teslas with [gasp!] HW2 or 3. My gosh. So much to worry about, but let's stick to 1st World vexations only.
Not true at all. HW4 will be significant improvement with 5 mp camera and HD radar. I just canceled my order with $250 fee.
Just lease a Tesla and then buy one when hardware 4 comes.

Tesla should pick Norway to start. That will add to pressure on EU regulators to stop blocking it to protect legacy automakers.
After watching so many fsd videos, I don't trust it at all. There are so many countries and different regulations in Europe. I think it will take at least five years for fsd to be used normally in Europe.

So HW4 is to make FSD regulatory compliant.
Meaning that HW3 will never be regulatory compliant.
"FSD+HW3 will still be better than most humans." essentially says that they've given up on compliance for HW3.
lol im cancelling march delivery to wait for HW4. Tesla reduce cost for profit it seems AKA revove sensors for the BS Tesla PISSION only.😅. Cmon mate HD radar is the bomb and extra cameras for the blind spots. HW3 is a dinosaur. Don’t compare iphone to TEsla as investment required is markedly different.

Don’t believe this at all! FSD is a very very hard problem to solve. If Teslas FSD was driving without intervention 99% of the time it would still be a long way from full autonomy, and it is nowhere near the 99% mark now. A large part of machine learning success is due to brute force data and hardware performance, so IMO it is quite likely that in pursuing Elons much mentioned march of the 9s towards 99.999% reliability a more powerful computer will be required. I also do not believe that HW3 to HW4 will be a small improvement compared to the move to HW3. I expect it to be a very big improvement, at least 10x improvement and probably more. If you believe Elon that a free upgrade from HW3 to HW4 would be economically infeasible and you intend to purchase FSD, I wouldn’t touch HW3 with a barge pole. On the other hand, if HW3 isn’t up to the task of handling FSD then I don’t see that Tesla will have much choice other than to upgrade everyone for free because everyone who has bought FSD has bought it on the understanding that the current hardware is up to the job. However If you are not in the USA you might as well go ahead and buy now because it’s going to be many years before FSD is ready for Europe
