You should get the complete DS episodes from MPI Video. The dvds feature all 1225 episodes and many cast/writer interviews and other DS events and gatherings.
Gerard always keeps casting spells on Daphne & influences her that she marries him. Leticia was going to ask Daphne to leave town but she changed her mind under Gerard's spell. Then they both are committed. Then Quentin appeared at Collinwood & tried to stop the wedding, but it was too late. Then Lamar Trask also appeared at Collinwood at gunpoint to take Quentin back to jail. Later on, Daphne breaks the spell & becomes herself again & sees Quentin. Daphne found out about Gerard who is possessed by Judah Zachary just like COUNT PETOFI. Now Gerard is holding her hostage. Barnabas discovers the East Wing Parallel Time room of 1840.
Good grief! Someone catch that awful Gerard casting spells! He's such a villain!! Those dreams are so stupid, too! I hope Daphne gets away from that villain! ~Janet in Canada
@@richardgarcia618 Based on context clues, I think he was frustrated that literally every other actor in the regular cast got to play multiple characters...and really stretch and be over the top and hammy.

@@maestroclassico5801 It’s amazing that James Storm, who portrayed the “slightly” shifty Gerard Stiles, was only 27-years-old when he played Quentin Collins’ “best friend” on DS. At one of the NYC DS Festivals, I spoke briefly with James Storm. He was a heck of a nice guy. I believe that he’s originally from Chicago and he is a big Cubs and Bears fan.
@@kensellers4082 Im not sure if he LEFT One Life To Live to BE on DS but he WAS on OLTL in 1968-1969 and was replaced by his own brother Michael! I, of course, being a Gen Xer, remember him from Bold and The Beautiful (I never saw him on The Young And The Restless). He can play smooth but villainous guys pretty well! 😀

Jonathan Frid refused to continue playing Barnabas Collins, so the writers were desperate.
1841 Pt was not Dark Shadows to me.
