Thanks Damien! I did design it and had it built 4 years ago. It’s 40x40 on a 40x62 slab. The back area currently serves as a basketball court for my sons, but I designed the garage to be expandable to the full 40x62 when my kids have outgrown the court. The walls are 14.5’ with the peak just shy of 18’.
I was just wondering... if I were to buy a base GT500 and wanted the CF package, do you know if I would have to go to a Shelby American garage or are dealerships able to order and install them? You have a beautiful red one, thanks for sharing with us :) #subbed
You can only get the carbon fiber package when initially ordering the car and only “Golden Ticket” (large volume) dealers can order the limited CFTP. Shelby American has nothing to do with it.
Gregg Carter Thanks Greg! I actually haven’t detailed the bottom of this car like I have with all of my other Mustangs. I do drive it sparingly. I got it in December and have 600 miles on it.
Tim, Trying to figure out the lift points (Looking at a scissors lift for my small garage). Are you lifting from the pinch welds? Hard to tell. My thanks.
At MSRP it’s an ok car. But at $100k+ (dealer markup). It’s hard to justify a car that shares most of it’s parts and the platform as a whole with a car that’s has a $26,000 msrp ($36k if for a V8.) I’d rather spend $100k+ on a car specifically built as a stand alone. Still a very informative video. And a very beautiful car.
Till you drive one maybe you should put your be more open minded. You have any idea how much just that motor cost alone? This is very special car & Ford only issued 3240 GT500 Vin numbers for 2020. ADM’s must justify something.
I know it has a strong motor... but it will be limited by the s550 chassis. For the price w/ dealer mark up at $120k people can get a lighter with lower cg chassis. I say it again... at $70k msrp it is an ok car. But buying one with the dealer mark-ups sometimes going to $120k...
jpogi gtxcr1 $70K. It took me (2) months to find the right GT500. 70K MSRP? There is no such thing. Those 16.5 “ inch rotors weigh 45 pounds each. 8 heat exchangers weigh what 250 pounds? Blower is another 150 pounds. There is your weight V a GT. I wonder what that DCT cost if it makes it to the Ford Racing Catalog.
jpogi gtxcr1 I am curious what the extra wheel diameter & tire width weigh in at. 305/20 fronts 315/20 rears. Looking at the upgraded rear end there has to be 150 pounds worth of upgraded components. Ford did some weight reduction somewhere. When you have time look-up the Vegas press launch & watch the GT500’s run throughout the entire event w/o a cool down. All the launch control settings were set & Ford did not want the demo GT500’s restarted. They were smashed on throughout the entire event w/o any down time. Then I read the GT500 was averaging consistent 101 MPH runs at VIR. Shelby GT500 0-100-0 10.6 time is crazy. At the time I was a TrackHawk & ZL1 A10 owner. I was cross shopping between a left over 2019 Callaway ZL1 that was similarly priced. I went with the Shelby.
Excellent excellent video!! Bravo Tim!!!
Especially loved the music as you were raising the car!
Thanks for the positive feedback!
That's about as detailed as you can get. I want more!
Awesome! Thanks! Great collection in a great garage!
Thanks Christopher!

Awesome video buddy!!! Very interesting
Thanks Samuel!
Thank you for the down under views. Enjoyed this video.
That garage is epic. When was it built. Did u design it?

@@ShelbyFlyer I see... thanks for the reply!
Clean machine did you scan any of those qr codes. Any results? Thx
Thanks Scott! I did not scan anything... just documented.
Much appreciate this video, THANKS!!!
Do you drive this beauty? I ask because the underside is so clean.
My thanks.
The lift points are notches on the pinch welds that are marked with a little arrow. You’ll need pinch weld pucks to prevent damage to the pinch welds.
@@ShelbyFlyer Thank you Tim, found them.
I am in the process of redoing my garage floor where did you get the finish.
I had a local contractor do it... it’s metallic epoxy.
Where do you get all the svt and Shelby banners
Ebay and collector friends.
"Under whelmed", get it? lol the car is as clean on top as on the bottom.

please tell me you flew tomcats lol
The “Goose” handle was an Air Force Special Ops callsign from years ago... has nothing to do with Top Gun.
