Fantastic explanation of the situation that’s going on mark, honestly this video has calmed me down, I’m only 16 but I have underlying health conditions which put me in the very vunerable category, if I do catch the virus then it’s likely I wouldn’t make it through. That's not how immunity works in this case It varies from people It's being said some people lose the immunity to the virus quite quickly and also the virus keeps mutating They already found a few mutations of the covid-19 from the tests they did on the infected The best thing to do is to be careful and protect the people more vulnerable until they find a solution that will tame this a bit If you think about it the H1N1 is still doing rounds 11 years after so we can expect the covid-19 to do the same thing

I dont think herd immunity works with viruses that well tho. Virus dont have DNA thus they can mutate their RNA quite easily. And the bad think about corona is that you can get re-infected by the virus even if you have already recovered from it. So this herd immunity wont work.
But the whole point of lock down is not just to stop it spreading. It's so that people don't die. If we have lock down then people won't die as much and later there might be a cure to help the infected... But there are thousands of minds at work over there so surely they know best... At least we hope so. But no football is just sad. Just means we can get on with more important things in life and be more productive... indoors I guess...
