Scarlett Luty yeah...he was abused terribly. His dad was a monster. I don’t know what to think about this documentary that came out. I do know a few of the things said can’t be true, Safechuck made allegations about being abused at the station in there, but that can’t be true due to the fact that the neverland train station wasn’t built when he said he was abused there. That made me question all of it.
James Pond The first accuser was not acc molested. He was drugged by his dad when he said it. Just watch square one or lies of leaving Neverland. James and Wade were just broke and did it for p’s
I applaud you guys for this great podcast. A video like this is risky to put on, but you guys hit the nail on the head. You managed to stay respectful about this, and discussed everything in a very mature and thougtful way. Huge respect towards you guys.
Im innocent! I just loved little boys and got falsely accused my whole life of doing the same thing over and over again! It's just one big misunderstanding. I swear!
@@gifted2at94 regarding this leaving neverland, there are a dozen controversies and illogical claims. safechuck says he had "honeymoon" in 1988 with jackson at the euro disneyland, it wasnt even built then, and it was opened in 1992. wade's mother said she was dancing when jackson died cause "now he cant hurt anymore children". Wade and his mother also stated before, that wade didnt tell his mother about the abusive stuff ever up until 2013, which is 4 years after jackson died so how did wades mother had a dance? you should just read a bit more instead of just blatantly believing in a "docu" in which only 1 party says anything, and the whole thing is way more emotional than factual.
Finally someone who has said the parents are responsible!!! Famous or not when my children were small I would NEVER allow them anywhere near an adults bedroom. Brilliant video guys 🙂
When you speak of victims, I just want to thank you so very much for your respect and for giving us a voice! The PTSD is real and it takes a very very long time to be brave enough to speak up or do anything against anyone because of what you've been told and conditioned to do. I remember being molested by my aunts husband when I was younger and I can fully understand Brian's difficulty to speak about the stuff that happened to him. It takes a lot of mental strength to get over this stuff.
It must have been awful, thankfully you must be doing a lot better and stronger than ever. I must say, however, that Leaving Neverland has been debunked and I honestly think MJ never abused anyone. My humble point of view.
Well done Brian for coming out with your story, that came outta nowhere. Really glad nothing happened to you and i'm sure this will help people who have been through similar things speak about them to others, couldn't of been easy man.

You guys should do a follow up since this issue truly is important from many different angles. I really do think geordie is a very reflective and insightful person. He is candid and honest and obviously a very intelligent man. Thoroughly enjoyed this.
Just because he tries to sound intelligent and like he knows what he's talking about doesn't mean he is. The extent of his knowledge on this is what he heard in the documentary, nothing more....its painfully clear when he's talking about it
@@ralb2857 You could say that for sure. I was a huge fan of Michael Jackson growing up but the testimony of Robson and Safechuck is too convincing for me to doubt the truth any longer. The world will always be divided between those that believe Michael was a paedophile and those that do not. No one really knows except the boys themselves and Michael, wherever he is, heaven or hell.
@@Arun-nv8zi i knew LEAVING neverland is a BS when Macaulay Culkin someone who snitched on his own father for abuse, still defends MJ ! When Robson claimed to have been left alone on his second night in Neverland while his family went to grand canyon, despite official court transcripts for his, his mother's and his sister's sworn declaration stating he went away with them

As a youth worker, You always have to believe the child when they make an allegation. Obviously it gets investigated impartially/properly/professionally : But what upsets me most about this documentary is how many people do not listen or question the voices of young people. They are just as valid.
They are questioned because their statements have been contradicted so many times. I do not support sexual abuse obviously and I usually will try to side with the victim. However, for this case it does't make sense and it feels like a money grab. That's why I believe Michael is innocent. Well, atleast I feel Wade and James have never been touched.
@@mrrobotvoice8321 The parents left massive holes in it. James Safechuck's mother said that in 2009 when she found out that Michael had died she "danced around the room", except there's one issue - James confirmed that he didn't disclose his "abuse" to anybody until 2013. Blatant lie

The point they make about Macauley Culkin is so true and one I've thought of a lot. I 100% believe the accusers in the documentary regardless. But one thing the non-believers say which irritates me is 'he didn't abuse Macauley Culkin' and what's your point? Jack the Ripper didn't kill every women he spent time with, he chose victims. I know the comparison of Jack the Ripper and MJ may be strong but it's that sort of thing. Imagine how insulting and hurtful it would be to be an abuse victim and just have someone say to you ‘well he didn’t abuse me so you must be lying’. MJ was smart and I do genuinely think he befriended Culkin and intentionally didn't pursue any sexual abuse with him so he could have the cover of 'well ask Macauley Culkin.' Guys MJ was a phenomenal performer and musician. But don't let that blind you from his darkness.
The accusations of Jordan, Gavin, Wade and James are laughably bad but I 100% agree that its nonsensical to take Michael not molesting Macaulay Culkin (or Macaulay claiming that he didn't) and using it to conclude that he didn't molest anyone.
BezoomnyBratchny imagine how offensive that would be to a genuine abuse victim. Someone saying ‘well he didn’t abuse me so you must be lying’. It’s preposterous
Appreciate the realism here guys. Very good podcast to listen to. I haven't seen the doc yet but I will now especially because of this so I can understand what went on and how to prevent this in the future.
so much respect for TG speaking on that personal experience. not sure id have the strength to say what you did in this if i was ever in that position, god forbid.
I’m not even a Jackson fan and I know everything Robson and Safechuck said is fake, it’s obvious from their body language. Jackson was a kind, pure soul who would never dream of harming a child.
I completely agree with you both, think you spoke about it very professionally and huge respect to Brian for talking aboutthe dreadful events which happened during his childhood.
I think, what you said about men feeling emasculated and embarrassed, is one of the main reasons why men don't come forward with what happened to them. It's in our psyche, to be the top dog and when someone emasculates us, not just molestation or abuse, simply losing a fight, will hurt our ego really badly and we will begin to have doubts about ourselfs and little voices in the back of the head telling us all kinds of stupid shit.
My ABSOLUTE favorite recap and ending opinions on the overall situation and who he was and how different a perception can be compared to reality of who a person is as soon as you shut the lights off and their smile drops and their demons flush out. You did it in a very classy way, yet still said everything ive been screaming at the screen with the nay sayers for days now. Thank you. So much. Love your podcast
And none of it proves that MJ actually was THAT different behind closed doors. Speculation is no proof. Neither is accusation. No sane person takes ANY accusation at face value.
Excellent Podcast on such an important topic! I am grateful that you discussed, with little to no reservations, the very ugly side of paedophilia, a crime which seems to be rampant, worldwide and associated with many powerful groups of individuals. Here in the US, rumours of powerful paedophiles working with children in Hollywood, are off the charts. Your open discussion, with “no holds barred”, needs set the standard and be a universal turning point for people to bring this horrific crime to an end! I appreciate your open and honest expressions regarding difficult topics, intermixed with your humour ......

He didn’t struggle with his identity he knew who he was and was proud of his race he had vitiligo and it was proven in his autopsy and as far as his surgeries he didn’t want to look like his father because what he went through in childhood
You don’t think a grown man in his 30s is even remotely aware that touching children sexually is wrong? Yes, he was a very complex man, especially considering his level of fame, but he wasn’t living on a deserted island with no access to the world and how it functions. I believe he was calculated and played the innocent role exceptionally well. What the 2 men have described in Leaving Neverland is grooming 101. And you’re right, lightning strikes once; it doesn’t strike 5 times. Thank you for one of the best discussions on the doco I’ve seen/heard. Really made me think!
I found the documentary very hard to watch as I was abused as a child and I understand what those men went through in a sense,it took me 22 years to open up about it so to all the people who discredit them until your in that situation don't judge on how long it took them to tell the truth it was one of the hardest conversations to have
I’m someone who was also abused as a child. Opening up about these types of things bring up all kinds of emotions and unwanted memories, and it can be very challenging. People discrediting them for only coming about it now after MJ’s death baffles me. Some people go their entire lives and never speak out about it
I was sexually assaulted at 17 and I still can't come to terms with it so I can't imagine being younger and having to go through that trauma. I wish you both all the best xx
Absolutely spot on with this 👌🏻 felt the same as both of you while watching it. ‘Wilfully blind’ - never heard of that until now and thats exactly what is happening with ALOT of people. Perfectly sums the whole thing up.
33:01 This is honestly such a great point. I've heard so many people defend Michael by using Macaulay Culkin's defense. Just because he didn't molest one boy, doesn't invalidate the accounts of others.
I adore you guys! Loved this podcast and Brian you should be so proud of speaking out cause I know a guy like you speaking so openly will do wonders for combating the toxic masculinity that we suffer from in society. And Lawrence as always you are the shaman that guides these podcasts to deeper levels. Love you guys and I hope you continue to make the content we crave
He’s innocent. I’m not even a fan of Michael Jackson, but as as sexual assault survivor myself, I know he is 100% innocent. There is no way that Robson and Safechuck are telling the truth - their body language is all wrong, whereas Jackson’s language has all the signs of telling the truth when questioned about allegations
I agree with this yet am completly baffled at how I can also disagree so strongly. I am not sure what on earth this video has to do with 'toxic masculinity' which is a term I dont believe to be an actual thing other than a tool to use against Men who are (just as a woman could be) ignorant, arrogant, or whom use dominance in place of more feminine characteristics like compassion and kindness and gentle kitten petting fluffy mcfuck off kinda of oppression and abuse that does happen, but not relevant to this whatsoever that I can try to see. I can see however, this term only ever been uddered from the mouths of victims that think masculinity has anything to do with any of their pain because a man has oppressed or abused them and need to actively blame and shun 'the other side/opposite' for overbearing male charateristics that must be kiboshed if we are ever able to even breathe and be free enough to run around like little girls without having to worry about being raped by tricky fellas and approved by cognitive hollywood dissonance? What would Gislene Maxwell or Mirina Abramovic have to say about Toxic Masculinity? To me, and respectfully, this is the last place we need to bring MORE bullshit into. Is that toxic (talk-sick?) femininity to always be whining about the toxic masculinity "we all suffer from?" and giving praise for not being that which has harmed us all. or is it just the equal to radical feminism and I'm being goated by the difference of terms used to describe the same effect?
@@xxjoeyladxx can one say things like : Because you're a survivor, you KNOW??. =Claiming '100%' and "no way" as absolutes that your experiences tell you to be certain of? Well, maybe that needs to be checked, because being a "survivor" myself, (although I have never looked at it like I was a 'sexual assault survivor') I can speculate at what I feel is closest to MY truth, but that does not give me clearance to say I know anything with 100% certainty or that my victimization (or choice) entitles me to diagnose other victims and their predators with accuracy I can influence others with. When in fact, that may even disregard or undermine the actual pain and truth of others. If I were to grant myself the same sureities based on my own experieces which are almost identical to this situation from what I can tell - I can completely disagree with your conclusion, yet does that make us wrong, or one of us wrong? No, it just muddy's the waters when we think we have the ability to know truth outside of our own experience of it. You use their language and body language as assessment tools, which actually makes more of a case against your claims because it at the very least shows reasonable doubt and patterns that illustrate that all parties are being deceptive in one manor or another, regardless of 100% innocent or 100% guilty - its impossible to divide this into that. And we forget ITS HOLLYWOOD they are ALL perfomers, liars, beggars, abusers, manipulators, extortionists, + 100 other good & bad things, and its a SHOW regardless, so do you really KNOW these people? No, its all heresay for 99% of people who have never been whisked away by a pop god and limelit for the world to see, yet being required to "never tell"... so its not a side picking rally to save Michaels' image once and for all, or to stand for victims everywhere is it? if so- this all serves for nothing. Nobody is all good or bad and thats what this film depicts most accuratelty, but I feel it's just irresponsible to make claims like this, your truth doesnt harm anyone, but offering your opinion as fact to build a judgement could potentially harm many. Thanks for sharing your truth and your feeling but you dont KNOW anymore than anyone else who wasnt there.
14:00 “so emotional so detailed” the details that these men are describing are utterly false, how can one of them claim to be abused by Michael from ages 7-14 in the train station at neverland, when the train station was built years after the alleged abuse took place
Thank you so much for your conversation about LEAVING NEVERLAND. I was especially moved by your statement that Michael Jackson was in a once in a generational situation, having god status celebrity worship as a an innocent and at the same time being shrewd enough to cover up anything that would deter that image.
MJ was a brilliant musician and businessman, who made all the right moves and became wealthy beyond compare.....Yet today in 2023 I see his "Defenders" screaming at me: MJ was a Child! MJ was Naive! .........good Lord.
This is a hard one, because I watched an interview with Corey Feldman who we all know has suffered major abuse from a very young age, and he was literally coming out and calling out all the abusers but at the time he wasn’t mentioning names. But when the interviewer brought up Michael Jackson, Corey went on to say that he himself stayed at neverland many times and that Michael was never inappropriate with him, he said Michael was really nice to him and treated him very kindly. He also said that he never witnessed Michael being inappropriate with any of the other children that were staying there. So it’s a hard one because on one hand you have a man who looks extremely guilty, but on the other hand you have a man who is a victim of abuse saying that Michael Jackson treated him and everyone around him with nothing but kindness. When the whole Michael Jackson allegations were rolling in, it was the media who gave us the information and as we’ve learned in recent years that the media do lie a lot and they are very powerful when it comes to pushing a narrative out to the public. If Michael Jackson was guilty of these things then that would make him one of the worlds worst but there is just this niggle of doubt 😑
@@rayyanqureshi3613 wow 😲 just watched the square one documentary, and I’m shocked, I’ve never heard his situation from a legal standpoint I’ve only ever heard what the lying mainstream media has put out there, but after watching that vid I can safely say that I 100% believe Michael was an innocent man. I’m disappointed in myself for ever having doubted his innocence and I’m angry at the media who pushed the false narrative and lied to the world about who he really was. So sad 😞
One thing I will point out is that at 37:50 you ask "how much evidence do we fucking need like?" We dont have hardly have any evidence at all, just stories. Not saying its false but not saying it's true tho either.

MJ was smart and I do genuinely think he befriended Culkin and intentionally didn't pursue any sexual abuse with him so he could have the cover of 'well ask Macauley Culkin.'
Guys MJ was a phenomenal performer and musician. But don't let that blind you from his darkness.
Nail. Head. Bang on.
The accusations of Jordan, Gavin, Wade and James are laughably bad but I 100% agree that its nonsensical to take Michael not molesting Macaulay Culkin (or Macaulay claiming that he didn't) and using it to conclude that he didn't molest anyone.

It's in our psyche, to be the top dog and when someone emasculates us, not just molestation or abuse, simply losing a fight, will hurt our ego really badly and we will begin to have doubts about ourselfs and little voices in the back of the head telling us all kinds of stupid shit.

Would be good to hear your views on the upcoming madeleine McCann doc and the conspiracy around it
14:00 “so emotional so detailed” the details that these men are describing are utterly false, how can one of them claim to be abused by Michael from ages 7-14 in the train station at neverland, when the train station was built years after the alleged abuse took place
brian this was so amazing, thank you for opening up it added so much to this podcast and its topic.

I’m disappointed in myself for ever having doubted his innocence and I’m angry at the media who pushed the false narrative and lied to the world about who he really was. So sad 😞
@@victorialee7270 it’s ok I was the same after I did my research these lying ass frauds Wade and safechuck are doing this for money.
MJs sister said he was not cute enough and all so MJ found him annoying!!! Back in the day she said he was sexually abusing kids
@@intriguingmind9435 is that latoyah youre talking about?
One thing I will point out is that at 37:50 you ask "how much evidence do we fucking need like?" We dont have hardly have any evidence at all, just stories. Not saying its false but not saying it's true tho either.
This an amazing podcast, the best follow up on leaving neverland and a great in depth talk about similar topics. Good job.
Really good podcast lads, really great discussion- Think Lawrence smashed it in particular - credit to Geordie telling his story too - top work, and another great example of why I love your channel👌
5:25 even to this day, the Music Video for Scream by Michael&Janet Jackson is still the most expensive music video ever recorded.
Even to this day?
@@tutin4090 yea it is.
Great podcast, I had a similar experience Thank God I wasn't abused but I easily could have been and I thought the world of that person. So I completely understand why it took so long for them to.come out and talk about this now. Subscribed
