Can't find the "Unlock" function.
Saw some forum that it seems that samsung had removed the "unlock" function. 😔

It actually my Wife's S22 Ultra. When was about to do the factory reset (after the 8 hours of "lock out"), decided to try one last time and manage to unlock the phone.
Few days ago while she using one of the apps for her office work, it prompted her to change password for the work space of the phone. So told her to try one last time using that new password for her working space. And lucky it unlocked her phone.
Till now don't know why it had also changed her phone password to that new work password.
Unlock option is disabled by samsung

Darn it I wish I could have found your video before. I ended up doing the darn factory reset cause neither Samsung or verizon could help me nor Google only option was the factory reset and I lost all my pictures ;😢

I want to say thank you for your video it was so helpful some how I put it on pin # and didn't remember the pin so , ATT told me I would have to do a factory reset and it would loose all my data, they even sent me to the cell phone repair and they said the same thing. Thanks to your video I was able to unlock my phone with out having to do a factory reset.

i tried so many wrong pattern. so when i try to unlock my Phone in this way It's not showing me the unlock option. it just shows me the lock option. why is that?? my Phone is Samsung s22 ultra

I tried it and worked once. It locks back really fast and wouldn't let me back in. Now email has been logged out because of password change. Samsung website phone is gone off the list and I registered it but neither Google or Samsung mobile will pick up the phone anymore. I'm stuck with this phone now and I don't want to factory reset it because not everything is backed up plus hidden vaults also. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

If and when I buy one of those things, Samsung phone; do I have to add a password, or some sort of guarantee that I have to unlock it every time I use it? I would really prefer to leave it unlocked all the time.
Think most phone u can don't add password.
Or after adding the password, u can add a fingerprint and/or face recognition to unlock the phone.
(If the phone has these 2 function)

What if there is no unlock option available?
I have done all the steps until I got to the point on the Unlock. My question is: If I press the Unlock button will it delete all my pictures from my phone?...
(Because it also says that all my pictures, apps exc.. could be deleted).
I really need to know before I press the Unlock button.

Did you ever get a reply? I need to do the same thing. My brother-in-law died and we have to access his data and pictures (for memories for our daughter) Were you able to get in?
It's my understanding that by choosing to unlock this way WON'T loose your stored info/data. I can't verify this yet though, still trying...
@TheK9Shepherd My brother died in March of 2023. I don't have his passcode, samsung, or Google account info. Have desperately tried to find a way to open the phone with no luck. I cannot risk losing all the data he had. The phone belongs to me, I gave it to him so I'd be able to be in touch with him. He was being abused by his wife and kids.

Why doesn't mine give me the unlock option?
Mine is doing the same thing, trying to figure that out now. His list here has 9 options, my list only has 5 and "unlock" isn't one of them. I do have a "lock" feature and I'm scared as hell to select it lol
clicking the lock feature doesn't do anything it just contacts whoever you put as the number/person to be contacted when the phone is found if it is lost

@@bearstokesful it puts another "remote lock" on you phone. just press unlock and it will go away but you will STILL be locked out from screen lock... the original problem will STILL be there.
