XD i still dont get how for people, the slate ISNT consistant. for me, every time i fire the thing its a 1 hit and in the instances where i take shots outside of that 13m range, its ALWAYS an easy 2 tap.
The Slate isn’t balanced at all; it’s the most overpowered shotgun in the game, making it currently the best. With slugs? Legitimately broken. It needs a nerf asap

Pennyshot not only increases range but also increases spread. Its rng is extremely superior to buckshot. I do not touch buckshot on slate or rival. There are times when using buckshot when i think to myself that shot wouldve totally killed him if i had penny but theres never a time when i think vice versa

I’m not sure if this would make sense but how penny shot modifies slate is specific to slate. When I use penny with other shotguns rng factor effects shotgun more, no more wall penetration like slate but contrary to slate effective one tap range becomes shorter. Still there would be short range advantage and extra damage to pve but apart from slate I hate having penny shot in my chambers. Does this makes sense or I’m just wrong? :)
They do different things tbh, slugs are more accurate and more like a rifle hybrid while penny gives you more movement freedom like buckshot does but with up 16m 1taps
@@Whityyy not gonna lie using the slate and slugs combo with the uppercut as led to some great games for me since your video. I have managed to get to six stars twice in 3 weeks using it. It is kinda like a pocket nitro within 16 metres.
@@Whityyy all day swapping between pennyshot and slugs. If you play the game for PvP Slugs are the way to go. At no point when using slugs did I lose a fight and thought if only I had pennyshot. When using pennyshot I lost 3 fights that if I was using slugs I don’t lose.
I can respect the meme factor for high velocity change throwing, but there's been enough testing that shows pennyshot is just straight up worse than buckshot for pvp for me to permanently stay away from it besides the pennyshot derrenger for utility/oh shit button uses. The store page stats are unreliable for shotguns and have been for years sadly. Spread is based on the reticle and shotgun spread is never accurate to the reticle size, 1 shot range is more based on the true pellet spread than anything and the damage stat combines two inaccurate stat representations into one since its listed as "average damage from 10m to the torso". If you care at all, cornf has an excellent video and spreadsheet on why pennyshot is just a worse buckshot against players. But if all you run it for is the memes, nothing beats telling someone to keep the change as pennies bounce off their skull

Bruh I hate buckshot on anything that isnt romero. Ive been playing pennyshot for almost a year now. Especially because of how easy you can kill bosses. Every since all my friends play rival slate pennyshot cuz of seeing me use it and what i can do with it

Really enjoy the Slate, it feels balanced compared to other shotguns. Had some great take downs with solid hip fire.

ye same, doesnt work for me on other guns. I can bruteforce it on crown but it's more miss than anything else but on the slate it slaps for no reason
